I used cotton yarn and forgot to count in some instances (still I ended up with 31) and it came out perfect! Fits my 22oz tumbler perfectly. Thank you so much for this tutorial💕
I absolutely loved this crochet tutorial! Your cup cozy tutorial makes it so easy to follow. It makes me want to run out and get a pumpkin spice latte! I was so inspired that I included your project in a roundup post on my website about beginner crochet projects. Thanks for sharing your skills with the community! Keep up the fantastic work. 😊
Thank you for the kind words they mean so much. Why don’t you email me a link when it’s all done and I will send it out with my weekly email and maybe get some people over to your website to check it out.
I came across this when looking for an older video I had used before. I'm going to make this for my car because of all the iced coffees and whatnot I get while my husband and I are running errands. This is super cute!
Thats fantastic! I'm working on one for iced coffees right now video will be up in the next couple of weeks. A little taller and has a bottom to keep your car clean :)
New subscriber here. Stumbled upon you while searching for smalls to make on an upcoming trip. Great channel. I’ll definitely check out more of your videos.
Beginner here. I have problem at row 5 😅. How can I differentiate slip stitch and hdc from row 4? I can see there's a zigzag pattern chain from row 4. Can I assume the chain going up is hdc and going down as slip stitch? 🤔
There is a trick for this - when you are working the texture work your hdc in to the stitch that looks small and the slst into the big stitch. Check out this blog post I think it will help:) www.prettydarnadorable.com/2024/05/21/brookside-easy-free-crochet-bucket-hat-pattern/. Scroll down to where the 'special stitch' is explained
Could just be your attention is tighter than mine. I would try going up a hook size if you can, or maybe a thicker yarn would work too. Hope you enjoyed it though :-)
For those that are still new to crochet knowing when I have to turn my project inside out again would be appreciated I tried the pattern and just didn't come out right

Is there a way to make this slightly smaller please? For a narrower cup? Thanks
Yes for sure reduce your starting chain be 2 for every two stitches it will be about 1/2 and inch smaller.
Can you use acrylic yarn for this what is the texture of your yarn
This is acrylic worsted :)
Any way to add holes so I can use this on a cup with a handle?
Unfortunately this texture can only be worked in the round :(. So I don't think this one would work.
Thank you ❤️
You’re welcome 😊
Mine came out a little smaller lol. Any tips on what I did wrong please?

What cup size would this fit the best?
It fits my Mc Donalds large and xlarge perfectly :)
Is the wrong side of the rows on the outside? Haven't crocheted in awhile.....
And the right side is the side that faces you the wrong side is the side on the inside hope this helps

Thanks so much for the feedback! It will help me to do better next time. Sorry it didn't turn out right ;(
Mine came out too big.😢 4 wt. 5 MM HOOK. 31 stitches every row.
Maybe I’ll lower the stitch count next time
Thanks for the tutorial
Can I ask which yarn you used. Some 4 weight can be a bit thick. :(. Hope the next one comes out perfect!
i just made one and it came out perfectly. I don;t know how to add a pic. Sorry
