    Thank you! I made one, easy, peasy, then began another. Midway through the second, I had to pause for a bit, so I just pulled the 'cozy' up onto my wrist. Great looking 'cuff bracelet', think I...when I returned to my 'comfy' spot to resume, I reached into my UFO/sample bag and pulled out a puffy rose motif and tied it to my new 'wrist cuff'! Huge bonus, if you do a lot of computer work, you can spin the motif side between your wrist and the keybord/desktop. Sooooo comfortable! Made another 'set' for my daughter for her work... Cup cozy, 'comfy cuff' and 'winged' my way through a coaster! Love, love, love the texture! A new all time favorite!

    Acrylic yarn might look cuter but if your using for cold beverages only when you need a cozy for a hot beverage your supposed to use cotton only

    • @carlap2227
      @carlap2227 5 років тому +1

      Why do you need to use cotton for hot beverages?? I have not heard that so I was curious. Thanks!

    • @garbostyle1
      @garbostyle1 5 років тому +4

      @@carlap2227 , Acrylic yarn should not be used for potholders or hot pads because it is essentially a form of plastic and could melt if you sit an extremely hot pan straight from the stove on it or grab a really hot dish out of the oven . I do not think the outside of a coffee cup with a hot drink in it is anywhere near hot enough to melt the acrylic yarns so you should be able to safely use it for a mug cozy. I have made them from hundreds of different acrylic yarns for years and I have never had a problem. I have even spilled boiling water on them a couple times with no noticeable change to them.

      You don't have to turn but the stitch will start to go off to the side. Kinda like when you work sc without turning it moves slightly to the side with each round.
