Is it not possible that amidst his busy schedule, he literally just doesn’t remember? It’s not that unusual to not remember things like this when you’re doing a million things at once everyday.
Keep in mind we're talking about a guy who has it in his movie contracts that the characters he plays must never lose fights and must always look good. Pretty sure he even has a team specifically to handle this lmao
I don't know, if I was a famous actor with kids I would want to always look like this powerful person so that my kids can think of me as an actual hero at home
He has a clause in his movie contracts that says he can't be beaten in fights - you can't really have a good movie when the protagonist does nothing but win. And how is that for insecurity? Sheesh...
Probably the most accurate take. Which doesn't make it any better. Guy is is the embodiment of "bought and sold". The Democrat party is grooming him to run for President and on Rogan he didnt even know Zelensky was an actor who played the President who also played the piano with his dick. So much for foreign policy knowledge. Lol
It's one of four possibilities. He's either meme-ing, he legitimately does not remember, they just pay him to keep doing it, or it's a legitimate marketing tactic to get people talking about it who otherwise would not even have known about it.
i feel like its the 2nd one, except the burger is constantly erasing his memory more and more. he is eventually going to forget everything but still be eating in-n-out burgers “for the first time” and doing whatever his pr team tells him.

Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.1
In & Out. Yeah, a few years ago I travelled along the west coast. Being a european in the mid twenties I felt like I had to find "the best burger". I met a few folks from San Diego and they would swear to god that "In & out" is the gold standard. A few days later somewhere near Lake Tahoe I came across one and well... it was an average "ok" burger. After all the praise I was expecting much more, but it was just a 08/15 standard burger. Nothing special, but definitly worth the price and there was a very nice atmosphere in there.
Everything can be explained by asking to whom is he selling the product: You don't want to advertise to the people that are already going to your restaurant, you advertise to the people that are not clients (yet) so you need to show people trying it the first time, now the people that haven't been to a fast food are either very old or very young, so you need to make it sound good but also challenging a little bit, like you don't know how to pay but you are eager to try it and turns out it's easy. Or they are people that goes to other fast food so you need to make it a little bit different than your average McDo, etc.
The more I see of the Rock, the more I appreciate John Cena. Dwayne Johnson's charisma feels like a fabrication, like there's a deep insecurity and narcissism beneath the cool guy facade. But John Cena strikes me as a genuinely cool dude.
"Not up there with Kane.." okay I love this guy. 100 percent correct as Kane is my absolute favorite and best wrestler ever imo along with the Undertaker.
Something a lot of people don’t realize is how a majority of celebrities are incredibly narcissistic off camera. Him announcing how eating fast food is “making history” is a prime example lol
@yy22-iq9bo i don't think I quite agree with that. Being nice is extra, people don't have to be nice to each other in a socially acceptable case. But yeah ultimately, i agree with the rest.

I thought it was a bit weird as I couldn’t imagine him being nervous but just thought it was a dumb cutesy story. Then when I heard he had his own brand of tequila that he’d forced all the black Adam premiers to exclusively use his and I realised how unscrupulous he actually was.

Man was a wrestler in the 90s. He knew what roughing it was driving from town to town only going to places that are open. He's ordered fast food thousands of times, but can't go through a drive thru.

Lol....I believe this even tho I feel I shouldn't
Steven Seagal was that way also. In his movies he was never even touched, let alone in danger of losing.
He lost in the mummy returns to Brandon Frazier.
That is the most lame ass ego-stroking behaviour I’ve heard of lol
Thanks for enlightening us on the sheer consequences of greed and power. Absolute power corrupts. Absolutely.
He has a clause in his movie contracts that says he can't be beaten in fights - you can't really have a good movie when the protagonist does nothing but win. And how is that for insecurity? Sheesh...
The most insecure thing I’ve heard since Joe Rogan said he can’t wear suits because someone could choke him with the tie.

Probably so.
Lol

Such a wholesome clip, there! I loved it!
It's one of four possibilities. He's either meme-ing, he legitimately does not remember, they just pay him to keep doing it, or it's a legitimate marketing tactic to get people talking about it who otherwise would not even have known about it.
Operation Mincemeat all over again
i feel like its the 2nd one, except the burger is constantly erasing his memory more and more. he is eventually going to forget everything but still be eating in-n-out burgers “for the first time” and doing whatever his pr team tells him.
He's definitely getting paid

A guy whose ego is so big it doesn't allow him to lose a ficticius fight in a movie!😂😂😂

The more I see of the Rock, the more I appreciate John Cena. Dwayne Johnson's charisma feels like a fabrication, like there's a deep insecurity and narcissism beneath the cool guy facade. But John Cena strikes me as a genuinely cool dude.
You would be correct
Especially when you know he's not allowed to be the villain, lose a fight, or take to many hits in the fight on his contract

If I remember right, he threw a friend under the bus at some point within the last couple years. Where he initially had the person's back but basically did an about face after backlash. Google only shows positive crap about The Rock, so can't find the situation at all. I do remember that's when I began to see.
I remember when he did moana he kept telling this story on the press tour about how nervous he was to sing “you’re welcome " so he had to drink tequila to calm down. I thought it was a bit weird as I couldn’t imagine him being nervous but just thought it was a dumb cutesy story. Then when I heard he had his own brand of tequila that he’d forced all the black Adam premiers to exclusively use his and I realised how unscrupulous he actually was.
on top of that it's funny to think about how Maui is basically the rock but unfiltered
Whats wrong with allowing your movie crew to take your tequilla after a stressful day without paying for it.
Bro even mentioned his tequila brand in his song FACE OFF
Yeah the rock is a chode
I don't get it. Does that mean that he would only bring his own tequila brand? If that's the case then the man sounds like an extreme narcissist. It sounds like he plants the dark seeds so they can work how he wants them to

Years ago he said in an interview that when he got sent to memphis because he wasn't ready for the big leagues yet that he ate mac and cheese for dinner quite regularly.
