The older gentleman wasn’t being rude at all. He was genuinely intrigued and really tried his hardest to relate to Thommy. Although it may seem rude, all he wanted to do was learn and speak to a person from a very different background.

Man, Ghanaian accents are so nice sounding. 😌🎶 I love hearing different accents when people speak English, tonal differences, emphasis on different parts of words, general cadence? Its so cool! :D I love that accents are so varied and different even across short distances its like a little love-note to wherever people come-from or whatever language they speak natively.

Thank you Fel for sharing. Chang fen is very delicious. I like it too specially with shrimp, beef and some chilli sauce. I eat it at least twice a week before going to work. Glad you like it too. They seem very kind and respectful, but also very ignorant. It's almost as if some of have never read books or watched tv. "Why are you so black"? Very ignorant in a child like sort of way.
Everything they watch is regulated so it's possible that in remote areas, they've only seen others like themselves. Especially the elders.
