A few years ago, me and a coworker were in a store full of Mexicans. My coworker was white and I'm Jamaican. Three people were talking about us in Spanish the entire time we were there. I waited until we were walking out the door to turn around and say something back to them, in Spanish. The look of shock was priceless.
There are "white" Jamaicans and skin color has nothing to do with the language you speak so none of your comment is getting read past that. You're the racist, nobody else. Fix yourself.
Doubt they're actually Jamaican@@februarylove9568 or they'd know Jamaica speaks many languages including Chinese. There are many Chinese and their cuisine influenced Jamaica's culture.

I’m incredibly inspired by you and I feel very grateful to have found your channel, and this video in particular! I have to provide context because a lot of you guys are missing the point of this video. People natural reaction when they hear someone is “talking” about them or “gossiping” about them is that it’s negative. If you look up the definition of gossip it is a neutral statement. The purpose of this video was not to shame the nail techs but rather show people the power and beauty of languages. They were talking about us because they saw us recording and was letting each other know. Not because of saying something many are suggesting like anything racist or obscene. I hope this provides some clarity. UA-cam is a world where you have to put titles that will attract viewers but still be open for interpretation. Don’t hate the player , hate the game. All the featured businesses did a phenomenal job and service and I tipped each of them very well. And please, don’t come at me about not supporting black businesses because you don’t know anything about me or what I’ve done. You think it’s easy for a black man to learn Chinese and work in Chinatown?! Ok then, I know some shit. The way to eradicate racist ideologies is to find common ground with each other and get back to our true HUMAN nature and language is a great tool which accomplishes just that. Nelson Mandela once said “If you speak to someone in a language they understand, it goes to their brain. If you speak to someone in their mother’s language it goes to their heart “❤️.Let’s change the narrative, pick up a foreign language today and see for yourself how many doors it will open for you. You notice how comfortable and warm they treat him after he speaks their language. Very interesting. Also if you are self taught that is incredible you do have a knack for language you actually can make loads of money now with Chinese to English. I haven’t been placed in an environment where I could truly learn the language. This is why so many foreigners go to their country of speech so that they can learn it. Ngl the lowkey racism at the start of each interaction makes me sad. Its clear that its a subversive thing that gets into the minds of people you couldn't fairly even call "racist". We quickly see that they are wonderful and warm hearted people, but they clearly have preconceived notions that are objectively rooted in racism. I really think these kinds of interactions are how you actually make a dent in the racial tension that unfortunately exists between many cultures in society. Respect and love dude, your content just rocks.
your comment deserves a like :)
Dude black people have been treating Asians like shit in NYC and most major cities for the past 40 years because they're an easy target.
The same reason you pretend racism is there, is the same reason Asians feel apprehensive.
Both need to come together and get over discrimination.
this is not racism at all, you have been programmed to perceived this as racism, trust me. you have to start out by knowing that racism is the believe that a particular race is better than other, you see non of that here!! but in the United States now everything is racist, but is not.
can you please plaster this on a billboard in every city and country on earth because WOW 👏🏾🔥

My mom told me about this time in her early 20s when she went to a bar with a friend and started talking in polish to her friend about this handsome ass black man next to her. After about 5 minutes, he laughed, and leaned over and in polish says "thanks a lot. I think you two are quite beautiful to." .. my mom said she blushed instantly lmao. A few of my mates speak Polish fluently and I can still kind of speak abit( out of practice) and but understand better. It's a country I enjoy and visit Very Regularly.
I have studied several other languages in school but wasn’t able to reach fluency without immersion. Then, I forget what I learned with disuse.
