I love the Aunty, uncle, grandpa, grandma as a way of addressing people in your videos. Like you’re all family. Very similar to African culture. You’re laid back, natural and confident and show the best of Ghana and Africa.
I think he is calling any place not a city a village. There are more village like places. You can watch Katherine's Journey to the East. She was riding her bicycle through some real villages with plenty of chicken and goats running on the streets. They even built sewage treatment facilities that match the village look.

What I see in China as you are moving around, 1- is that there's sign of racism in them 2- there is no police embarrassment like in the US. 3- they are most friendly and accommodating. 4- they are all trying to get closer to you enjoy your presence. 5- it seems it is safe to be amongst them. 6- they are curious to know much about you.

One thing I have to say though, where you’re at is not a village. Village translates to Chinese is 农村. Where you’re at looks like a 县城or镇 to me. Those are translated to small city or suburban town. Real village in China, which I am sure you’ve seen before, is farmland and more spread out.

It does not seem like a village to me. Here, in Québec, Canada, a village is far away from the cities and it is rather small. You will mainly find villages in rural areas, where they practice agriculture for example And I think the burgundy sweater suits you more.
This is real normal life of Chinese, including local vegetable market and mahjong game in this video, by the way, mahjong game is very popular in Sichuan province.
