To me this demo sounds the most true to form for what my experience was with this amp. I find alot of demo's don't quite nail the actual sound and feel. Perhaps it is the high and low cuts people use? Assuming there isn't one here, but this sounds the truest of what you get from this amp.
Thanks! That means a lot! That’s pretty much exactly what I’m aiming for, capturing the amps as they sound. Mostly as a future reference for myself but to others as well to see the range of knobs and such. No filters here just straight out of the preamp!
Recently got myself a 6505+ but couldn't get past 3 for PRE and 3 for POST for the lead channel. This beast is loud AF! Love it! Would like to know what tubes are you running in?
I think these are just JJ's all around! Or Ruby power tubes and JJ pre's. Yeah you've gotta get the pre volume up there a bit to get the gain rocking at least for metal stuff.
Hey man! I’d recommend getting a reactive load attenuator. Like Two Notes Captor or something similar. A must have piece of gear for those who own beasts like these and want to crank the tubes while keeping the volume at bay. :) Enjoy your amp!
How can you put Post setting on 4 without its getting way to loud ? I only can put the post setting on max 2 and it even gets to loud for a whole band playing, is there something wrong with my head ? I see people playing with Post setting that high but It would destroy my windows when putting higher than 2
Mostly depends on your cab, and room size. This is in a separate sealed room in my studio so I can crank it. If you're in a small room at rehearsal 2 makes sense. If you ever get on a big stage in a big room you might notice you need to crank it up higher. around 4 is just where I felt it sounded best to push the speakers but not destroying them! Hope that helps
@@jeffreymorreale7223 Yeah, but with these more metal amps the power section is supposed to be run cleaner so you generally don't want that much power amp distortion like you would on say a vintage marshall.

If you play through an attenuator you can turn up the volume to push the tubes without rattling your neighbors windows.
