My dining room is in Railings with Strong White trim. Planning on doing my kitchen cabinets in Railings and using India Yellow as my wall colour.

@clairejeffordconsulting how do you think railings would look on furniture? For example a dresser, nightstands etc...

I wonder if you could give me some advice. I recently had new kitchen cabinet doors sprayed f&b french grey....long story short the guy had made a complete mess of them...any advice on removing f&b as I doesn't seem to like my sander any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi, we have ordered a bespoke kitchen in Railings. However, I’ve just painted the room in ammonite and put the railings sample next to the wall, and doesn’t work at all. What colour would you recommend for the wall. All the kitchen units are in Railings and the worktop is in white quartz with grey veins in the worktop :)

Hey DJ Smith! Ammonite and Railings do look nice together, but maybe it's not working with your counter or backsplash? Hard to say without seeing it all together in your space.
Hi there, I have a question about Railings. I am thinking of using it for my kitchen cabinets but I don't know if the color changes if I use it in the Estate Eggshell finish. Does the blue show more or will it make it look more black? Sadly I only have samples in the Estate Emulsion finish :(
My kitchen is north facing if that matters...
I couldn't say for sure, but I recommend buying a couple small paint cans of each finish to test them both.
@@ClaireJeffordConsulting I did that last week and yes it does show more of the blue when it’s in eggshell finish 👍

While I don't have the paint chips in front of me, I would say that Railings is not as gray as Cheating Heart.

Just a couple of questions if I may... I'm thinking about painting my outside front door in railings high gloss sheen. The entire from of the house is a red orangey brick and I saw a picture with railings surrounded by a brick front and it looked very nice! What do you think? Also my indoor wrought iron railings and bannisters are painted Cloud White (Benjamin Moore) and they look great but I've noticed a lot of decorators are now using black. Would you recommend painted them black? if so, black or off black? More importantly which sheen would you prefer?

I think that Railings sounds wonderful with that coloured brick! Of course without seeing the house, it's hard to say for sure but what I'm visualizing looks fabulous. Claire, our hallway is corn forth white, stairs and inside door are railings. Question is, what colour to do the skirting and doors ? Moles breath? Not sure
Hi there, I’m redoing my kitchen. The whole kitchen. The color for cabinets is hard to choose as it will inform the rest of the decisions. I’ve been Looking at darker colors like FB Hague blue, Railings, or Green smoke.
It’s a galley kitchen (not huge) with windows to the yard.
Any thoughts on how bold to go?
I am never adverse to using a bold colours in a space! The key is to bring them altogether at one time when you start your design. Too often people look at items and finishes in isolation, never seeing the full palette all at once and then determining from there what feels right and works best.

Different people put value in different things, whether they have a lot of money or not. It is more expensive than most other paints on the market, but it's likely you'll need less coats with this clay based paint and it it is really nice to use. You can never force someone, just provide the best advice and options.
