My whistle register doesn’t work on most days, but I use my head voice instead as I can sing the 6th and 7th octave notes in head voice, though I cannot sing half of my highest head voice notes today, as they start cracking and going into polyphonic pitches, and my mixed voice and chest voice have an odd tone, after trying to get the inward bass sound - but normally I can sing from C6 to C8 or higher in actual head voice, having the highest voice ever, as my voice type is sopranino with 100% coloratura subtype and the whitest / lightest / brightest tone, plus I can belt A5 in chest voice without straining, and I can sing around A1 or G1 in chest voice with humming technique and around A0 with subharmonic technique, and even my mixed voice can be stretched up to an A6 or C7 sometimes, while my whistle register goes from the fourth octave or lower to A10 or to the eleventh octave when it works! (I have to constantly clear my throat and have some sort of chronic hoarseness, but today I have over 50% hoarseness, and I don’t know if I have some sort of vocal damage, but it doesn’t really sound like nodules, though I feel and hear an odd snapping / clicking sound in my throat sometimes when singing the 6th octave coloratura notes in head voice, and there’s almost always this constant air flow / exhale sound that I can hear when singing the higher notes in head voice, and I cannot get my head voice notes to be loud like my mixed voice notes because when I try to make them loud my head voice cracks or I run out of breath immediately or something similar, so I don’t know how to fix this, and how to get a longer F6 to B6 with vibrato that’s loud in head voice, and, I don’t know if singing a lot in head voice and in mixed voice is good for the vocal cords!)

A very interesting and important topic because I also have Whistle and I learned through some pillars that made me have this vocal register
1° Find out if you are prone to Whistle
2° Have references from artists who use this register and also look for a healthy way to use it as the whistle is a vocal register where there are many types and textures and each whistle is unique.
In addition to having many techniques to reach the whistle register.
3° Practice, training and lots of hydration. Because despite being an addictive record, it is dangerous 😂
4° Always try to improve your techniques and look for different artists to increase your repertoire.
5° This is the last and not least important: If you don't have Whistle, try to improve other vocal registers! Life isn't just about whistles!
In fact, a video suggestion to talk about why people like and want to learn the whistle so much, as well as a debate to address the pros and cons of using the whistle!
It would be interesting to address this topic.

@@emmahrnkova You're welcome love! Just practice and don't give up and you will get the hang of it! I used to be able to do it when I practiced often, but I haven't been singing much in recent years so I am a bit rusty now lol! I wish I had tutorials like this when I was learning though! I learned by practicing Mariah Carey songs and it just sorta happened for me one day! I loved Mariah so I sang her songs every day on my karaoke, and I did that for years before I finally got the hang of it. But with Zane's help in these videos, you will be able to learn it way faster! Good luck to you!

Even because the whistle is a very popular register and it's not just POP music that uses it, thanks to Mariah who popularized it, but other musical styles and different artists have already played with making the whistle.
It's a vocal type that covers many people, that's a fact.
    And something important:
Whistle is supposed to be like a musical complement, an ornament.
Don't make Whistle just "for the sake of it and exaggerate" make the whistle be like the surprise element of the song!
That's why it's so important to have references from artists who use this technique and not just focus on Mariah!
Because I see that her whistles are dynamic and complex and extremely difficult to replicate.
That's why I don't practice her whistles as much and also because I have other references in this vocal register.
And what is even more important is that the person knows how to differentiate the act of shouting and making a whistle!
I see that a lot of people confuse this and end up kind of hostile to the whistle! It's a beautiful vocal register when used well and in a healthy way!

Hey, so I am a 19y male singer who discovered he has a whistle register last year ( it came really pretty easy for me ) but I was really hard to "master"it . But the thing is in the morning when I wake up it's there working fine really clear, afternoon same thing and the night as well but that's only if I don't sing in the afternoon. If I do sing (belts, high notes songs.. etc) in the afternoon and I try to do it, it doesn't work it make this greer or sometimes a arghhh sound which I don't like. Sometimes it works after I sing but it is really rare. I don't know if it ever happened to you guys and what you did to "master" it.

    • @Sonserina_99
      @Sonserina_99 7 місяців тому

It's the same thing with me, when I try scale 6 it's fine, but when I try C7 or more it's not... It's so hot in Brazil, I bought a nebulizer, when it arrives maybe I'll be able to sing in C7 or more.

    Hello
Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity. It's very hard to do in this day and age. People can be, somewhat very superficial.
On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. It seems to me that those who are not given traits such as beauty or being wealthy are some of the nicest, kindest and generous people.
While the "gorgeous" and well off seem to be the most arrogant and greedy people out there. Of course that's not to say there aren't beautiful kind people out there.
I've been in the process of change for a while now and I have made some decent changes. It's great seeing yourself level up.
I saw your profile and it intrigued me. I wanted to learn more about who you are and what type of path you would like on in life.
    Can we talk?
