This guy came here and played to 20 people at a farm market last month. Returned last weekend to the same place and 5000 showed up. The words spread loud, fast and to everyone.
That live performance started with Bible and everyone was singing along the whole song in just few hours of online launch. I get chills. And i am from India. This is an anthem for hardworking, honest people around the globe.
@@Buellerwtfmanthe only people that can separate us is ourselves, nobody can separate us unless we let them. We need to separate ourselves from this that are wanting us to be separated. Then they will see that they are allot smaller than they think
I'm a 50 year old USMC combat veteran, working man, husband and father. My greatest sorrow is giving so much for a country that hates us. I have never watched so many reaction videos and I get choked up every time I hear the song and read the comments.
Thank you for your service. I know it isn't enough, but there are still a lot of us out here who appreciate it! We can never repay you for what you did for our country & I appreciate every hour you put sweat in for the freedoms me & my children have inherited.
As someone firmly on the left (and by that I mean the actual left, I've never voted for a democrat in my life, they're to the right of me) I just want to be the first of my sort to take the time to tell you that we don't hate you, or this country. We just want better for it - and for you. Where many people see folks protesting during the national anthem, for example, and take it as disrespect toward you and your brothers in arms, we don't. We realize you took an oath to defend the Constitution, the very first amendment of which provides for the freedom of expression. To shun those who exercise that right IS disrespectful toward you and your brothers in arms who sacrificed so much to preserve that right. We have a major crisis with homeless veterans, and all the politicians who are most loudly waving their American flags don't want to pass any legislation to help. The less we look at things as us vs them, left vs right, and start to see things as it really is - the powerful few vs disenfranchised masses - the better things will be for everyone. Thank you for your service!
I am an old White lady who burst into tears when I heard this song. The best part of all is watching people of all races, religions and beliefs come together because of 1 song. And, I love your shirt! I am so glad to see men being OK with being manly.
No doubt, shed tears everytime I hea this. Lots of people would like to act like we are over reacting and country bumpkins. Those people that feel this way are our real issue. No souls, no idea of these feelings we can feel, that they're not capable of anymore. Much less the discretion to know when.
I'm a 50+ year old Mississippi born and raised black woman who has lived in many states and now in Florida. I just want to thank God for using this young man to bring together and give hope to, not only the diverse people of the USA, but people all over the world. It's all our rallying cry to the globalists that the people are now wide awake and will not allow them to further enslave us. Thank you Oliver Anthony for your obedience and courage 🙏 ❤️
And they are calling this the right wing anthem. Hmmm. Maybe he is just singing the truth that the government is scared of people understanding and relating to
The entire world can feel his pain. It's not just America but it's terrible anywhere now. These elites don't care about US as humans. We're more than just citizens.
United States might need our uk brothers soon when your government tries to cut ties with the us we are friends till the end keep your heads up brothers we’ll do the same
I love how you talked about it sounding revolutionary. I think it is. The moment that we quit dividing ourselves by race, gender, sexuality, urban vs rural dwellers etc. and realize we are all the same fighting the same struggles, is the moment that we actually will change the country and bring it back to "We the People". The rich and powerful want us divided, because there are a hell of a lot more of us, than there are of them.
Amen. And after they get done stealing our money and giving it to other rich men they tell us that immigrants, or poor people, or anyone brown is the problem. And if you believe that you're part of the problem because you're letting them get away with it. We need to come together and take our country back from all the rich men stealing from us and dividing us.
The elite don't get it - they don't understand that the working class is proud to work and provide for themselves, and maybe even start our own business someday. They think if they give us enough "benefits" we'll be happy. They don't understand us at all.

Just a country boy with a guitar and his dogs out on his farm. People needed to hear his message and they received it by the millions. They felt his message. Just one man with a world backing him.
"Young men are putting themselves 6 feet in the ground cause all this damn country does is keep kickin them down" is one of the most impactful lines that gets missed because of what comes before it.
Agreed, it's a very strong line. My only criticism of the song is his decision to include the line about taxes paying for 600-pound people eating fudge rounds. Not because i don't agree with his overall point he's making there (i do) or because i find it offensive or anything, but it's just not a very good line to put in an otherwise great song with solid lyrics. it's like if Bob Dylan included "you stupid motherfuckers" in Blowin' in the Wind lol you know? it's just not a mature, thoughtful songwriter's lyric and it sticks out because the rest of the song is beautifully written. i think i heard him say in an interview that he had a large part of the song already, and with a song-writing partner he rushed to finish the last bit so he could record it, and i suppose it's possible he threw that lyric in at the last minute and just didn't really think about. Or maybe he really liked that lyric lol i dunno. But it's a great song regardless.
@@johnadams8082 it speaks to a good point, but it's a pretty crappy line for a song. He could've made the same point and said it in a better, less crude way.
I don't listen to country or blues but I'm a 33 year old grown ass hardened man and this song makes me cry like a baby. The Lord speaks through the humblest of us.

When I was growing up in the '70s, this is not the world I saw coming. This song perfectly captures the anger I feel at what a few entitled vermin have done to the world. "Revolution" is exactly right. When the mansions start burning and the yachts start sinking, this song will be playing somewhere.
This song was the first time Oliver ever sang with a real microphone and camera. RadioWV should get all kinds of props for introducing to this young man. I think the Lord is working through him to bring people back together even if it’s fleeting. We have more in common than differences if we all could remember in this polarizing world.
Rich men north of Richmond, they want us hating each other, race against race and class against class and women against men, that's how they control us. We are all Americans. Race and culture got nothing to do with it. We are brothers in the struggle, and when we stand shoulder to shoulder, then we own THEM.
I'm in love with this song. But it warms my soul to see all of us hardworking Americans come together over it. We aren't nearly as divided as they want us to believe.
for real all we see is divide pushed in the media they want us against each other because as soon as we realize that they are the real issue they know they will lose everything they stole from us
Don’t let this fire go man. We need people like you to keep us united! Black, white, brown, whatever. We need influencers like you to help lead this revolution against todays mess!

Also Texas here. Things are going to pop off within the next couple years. I know there are powerful people sitting at mahogany desks in high-rise offices collectively shitting their pants over the popularity of this song. They were certain they killed the American spirit and have be working on demoralization through humiliation. People are pissed and know exactly who is responsible for this mess. Everyone started stacking literal tons of ammo during covid. Once a spark lights the fireworks will start, and when they do I hope the rest of the world follows us. We are all free human beings, with souls and should be treated as such. The demons doing their best to turn regular folks into their slaves globally need to remember one thing.... nothing lasts forever.
That’s because the same group of people screwing people in the US are the same exact ones screwing over everyone else all over the world too. Globalists don’t care about borders, sovereignty, culture, and the working class….only their own pocketbooks and control.

🔥!This song is saying what all of us Americans have been feeling. While those rich men North of Richmond keep fighting over foreign wars, illegal immigration, pronouns, DEI, and other BULLSHIT, we are carrying the weight of the responsibility. That is OUR hard-earned money going to fund Rich Men north of Richmond pockets. Revolution is needed and coming to save this once great nation. We the People are crying out ...but the tears will soon stop. This song reflects the SOUL of our nation, and those men North of Richmond don't relate because their souls are already gone.
The only problem is revolutions always come from elite groups pushing yet another agenda. What we need is to get government off our backs and just be free to live our lives - make our own decisions at the local level, for ourselves, with money that doesn't inflate and deflate at the will of bankers.

This is not only a song for the people in the USA. It's an anthem for the entire world. It's time to stand up people and unite against those who want to destroy us all. Thank God for for Oliver and his voice and wisdom.
Seeing how only right wing losers care for this guy whining about poor people, I'm guessing you're going to stand up like Oliver against those evil overweight poor people? Smh
You could feel the emotion. If people would just open their eyes, we're really not all that different like they want us to believe. Thank you Oliver for being a voice for the people and doing so with such passion and emotion. Absolutely love it!
The government is a propaganda machine. They sure did bring us together when they blew up the towers to pass the "patriot act" aka take freedom of privacy from it's citizens. They only want us united when it fits their agenda.
Perfect of example of organic music with no plastic & studio filters. When a white country boy can bring tears to metal heads , rappers ect. Plus different ethnicity's, you better know it's what music is supposed to be. Music has no boundaries

I'm a right leaning man married to a left leaning woman and we've slowly been growing apart over the last few yrs. This song touched me emotionally and decided to play it for her tonight. I think we actually talked and reminisced more in 4hrs than we had the previous 4yrs. We played old music tracks and talked about our loves and appreciations. We are all in this together. Left, right, black, white, young, old, man, woman. God bless this young man, he's stirred something within us all and it's up to us to do something with that. Let's just be better , that would be a good start. God bless you all.
I find the spreading division between men and women interesting. It's the same all over the western world, with women embracing globalisation and multiculturalism and extreme tolerance to all kinds of crazy shit, and us men just shaking our heads and asking wtf is happening. Seems our biological differences are producing ideological differences too, Jordan Peterson talks a lot about it, the five factor theory.
If you flop it, it is my marriage. I'm left leaning and my wife is right. We haven't been drifting apart, but we haven't talked politics in years until this song. As is common, we find we have so much more in common than we do in contrast. One day, someone like him is going to wake enough of us up and it won't be pretty for the rich men north of richmond.
@@vaettra1589there are 16 personality types in the Myers -Briggs classification system. So you'd think it would be evenly distributed across everyone, but it's not. There's one personality type that accounts for just over 20% of women (almost 8x more prevalent than the next one), but men are not as affected. From an advertisement dollar POV, if they focus on messaging intended for that 20% of women, they can focus their messaging for less $. It's not that all women subscribe to this, or even the majority. But those who manipulate (the parasite class) can activate that 20% and make them more active than the rest, and control what they think with a lot less $ than trying to change the mind of men (who don't have a clear leading personality type to advertise to). They also want to try to feminize men as much as possible so that they will be more likely to be susceptible to messaging optimized for that same personality type.
The left/right dichotomy was designed to divide people and keep them distracted with bullshit that doesn't really matter so that the people in charge can continue to rob us blind. Don't buy into it.

Exactly. This songs resonates with the left, right, and independents equally. All of us uniting is exactly what the elites don't want. We need to let them know that their time is up!
News called this a racist Republican song. Being a white boy from Canada I'd argue that Pete Seeger and Arlo Guthrie would be proud. So might MF doom, NAS and Tupac, god rest their souls. I'd call my self conservative, because revolutions suck. But this whole fucking system is broken and ordinary people everywhere suffer. Anthem for the people isn't far off.
Everytime I hear it, I get a tear of anger for the system that fails so many. It hits hard. And I am a 25 year combat vet... this hurts making me seeing reality. People are tired and tired of being tired. Let's see what is next.
This song definitely hooks into some primal, patriotic thing that's inside of us. It's been beaten down so much and it's like this song is breathing life back into it, that's why it's emotional.
It's a song for the middle class who sees their hard earned dollars getting less and less for more work and time away from home. Inflation, never ending taxes...it speaks to the middle and lower class.

Morals, integrity and those with faith in a better country that's been trampled on...we love this song...Thank you Stevie!
Few years? Try 50. Inflation up 3% each year. Your more poor by 3% each year and they talk about it like it's a good thing. You could buy a house for 50000 in 1970 amd OWN it in ten or less years. Don't be light this shits been going on for a very very long time
It shocks me how many foreign comments there are in the comments on the original video. It wouldn't surprise me if the Russian soldiers forced to fight in Ukraine feel this exact same way.
I'd say there's another sixth of the country that has fallen to despair and realizing that they probably will never be able to afford a house, let alone an apartment.
I’ve seen 30+ reactions to this song, yours spoke to me. This is a beautiful gift, I can’t remember something bringing all of US together, all races, countries…. We FEEL this. We are all God’s children and we know we are being controlled and all too often pitted against each other to not notice the true enemy. He nails it! I’d say this is a proud American moment but I’ve seen videos and comments from other countries. Oliver nailed it reading Psalm 37 to open his performance on Sunday. Peace and love my brother.

@@olig4699 instead of going after the rich who keep getting richer and have politicians in their pockets, he instead whines about welfare queens and people who eat unhealthily. People on EBT have to be working unless they prove they have a disability that doesn't allow them to work. They have limited food options to choose. Healthy food has often been more expensive. There are plenty of conservatives with and needing the government assistance. Now he's got conservatives riled up against the wrong people once again, and they're just going to ignore how on matters dealing with the poor and working class, Republicans almost always vote against their interests. I studied this in college. There was a small town with their waters polluted and want it stopped. They vote for a guy who supports the continued polluting of their waters and when questioned about this they say he thinks like them and hate the same people. Grifters do this all the time. You can pay the same grifters who made Oliver famous to get your conservative music trending. Remember to buy a bible! smh
I've been watching reactions of this for a while, and one of the things that occurred to me for why it seemed to strike so hard wasn't even the singing or the lyrics or the message. It's the fact that this guy LOOKS like the type of hard working guy that wouldn't complain about what cards he'd been dealt a day in his life. He'd do his job, no matter how unfair it was, because that's how he was taught. He'd be the first one to show up, and the last one to leave, and he'd do back breaking work with a smile still in his pocket at the end of the day. He's the guy that'd be helping you move when he's about to get evicted. He's the guy that'd loan you his car, while he walked to work. And for someone like that, to get pushed THAT far, and have no other choice than to belt out his frustrations -- it hits even harder.
You can always tell a genuine person by how comfortable dogs will be around them. I see his 3 just sleeping as he does his thing. that says a lot to me.
I’m retired. I didn’t work in factories, except in summers. But I come from that grouping of people. This song screams to me. It brings me back! People want hope in a system that has chewed them up and spit them out! Rich Men North of Richmond is a theme which may galvanize a movement, a generation… make that several generations!
I am a 63 year old white Canadian. I spent this afternoon watching several 'reaction' videos by Black men reacting to this song and every single one of them gives me hope that all is not lost. This song CANNOT be an American anthem. It has to be the anthem for all of us. And I APPRECIATE you guys doing your reaction videos because you are making this song reach people that may otherwise have passed on it. Thank you thank you thank you. I think it's 8 million views now. That's 8,000,000 people all on the same side. I love you all.
The fact you felt the need to mention race is proof that the propaganda is working. The elites try to pit us all against each other so we don't see the truth. It's not black vs white, left vs right, or religious beliefs. It's regular people vs billionaires. We can do this. In the words of Lyndon B. Johnson: "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."
I feel you, I have been watching and reacting to reactions....I just watched two men from Pakistan LOOSE it over these lyrics. It just goes to show you that politicians caring about profit and power over the working mans problems is a worldwide issue.
The line "Wish I could just wake up and it not be true but it is...oh it is" killed me. I've never seen a song resonate with so many different people at a soul level. It's authentic, raw and heartfelt. You can feel it. It's proven that we aren't divided like they want us to be. We're all in the same boat. It's on this radiowv because they approached him after hearing him at a local event. It's the only professionally recorded song he has. There's more excellent songs on his channel and in the top 10 they're just recorded with his iPhone
Is he wishing politicians would look out for "miners" or "minors"? The way things are with miners getting shafted and minors getting brainwashed and mutilated I guess it could be both. Love how he called out Epstein's island. I'm sure that ain't the only one.
Been working in a warehouse or labor job since I was 15 and I feel like he reached inside of my head to write this song. Going home depressed and ashamed to not even be able to afford the essentials. DAMN.
Don’t be ashamed, you now have experience! Apply at another place that will pay you what you’re worth. You’re valued at other workplaces. Good luck and stay positive and always give thanks.
Thank you so much for acknowledging hardworking women as well. So many groups trying to claim this song; they say it’s a Republican song, it’s a man’s song, or it represents only a group that they belong to. I’m a 32 y/o, female, vegetarian, progressive feminist, been working up to three jobs at a time since I was 17 but still have struggled constantly and at times gone hungry. My husband’s mother raised him and his sister alone on a nurse’s pay, and sometimes they couldn’t afford electricity in the summer in Texas. This song is the world anthem for the hardworking lower/middle classes of every nationality, religion, political views, race, gender, etc.. It stands against our common enemy: the greedy who drive others to poverty to support their disgusting lifestyles.
As a progressive, just keep in mind that politicians will use your causes to oppress and raise taxes even higher. They want to redistribute wealth but in the end it will only be taken from the poor. They are wolves in sheeps clothing Saying this as someone who used to be very left wing, but lost faith in any politician who espouses those causes
The song is for anyone, any creed, that works themselves to the bone for absolutely nothing. It’s truly for every, for anyone, who is terrified of what is happening out there.
Those who seek power for vanity have forgotten the face of their fathers. Power is the ultimate pervertor. To serve mankind is the ultimate gift to the Lord our God.the love of money is that which will destroy nations.
I cry every time I hear this song. ..I did everything right in this world and still struggle to prosper. Twenty years in the military, BA degree, government jobs, massive resume of accomplishments…and for what? 😐 my kids are screwed…the country is crumbling before our eyes…where do we go from here people? - it is up to us, but there is zero action on any legitimate front 😑
All of us middle class and lower class are feeling the same. My family doesn’t have the military background or degrees. But my blue collar husband busts his ass away from his home because he is split from one family and our daughter in the Bay Area. This song resonates with me so freakin much because all I think of is him busting his ass every day to be the ultimate husband and father. Keep raising your babies as humble as possible, we will overcome even though it feels like an uphill battle. I have so much faith in all of us humbled people. It’s incredible that a song like this has brought so many of us together, even those that we don’t consider ourselves like minded. Music like this brings us together, keep having faith
At least we now know we're not alone. It's a small but very important step. Their going to do everything in they're considerable power to silence him with lies and anything else they can come up with. If they can't devide us they have nothing.God bless you and your family sir.

Road Warrior, thank you firstly for what you did for me and mine! And I feel you for what you said about "a country that hates us". About Oliver: anthonyturner2477 said: High school dropout, lives in a camper, worked 12 hour shifts six days a week for years in factories in North Carolina and Virginia, and was about a month sober when he recorded this. The guy is legit. I can relate. The steel mill my father and husband worked in shut down in 1982. Then the pottery I worked in for 6 years shut down. The whole 6 years we were made to work 10 hours days, work 6 days a week, and we still never cleared a decent paycheck. It's living only from pay to pay and barely scraping by while the rich ones and corporations are thriving. They've pushed us to the side, while we are the reason they've prospered. And just be careful of any rich politician who wants us to think he's on our side. Remember the one who caused our country to become divided.
Yes, it's so hard. Blk, white, green or blue. It doesn't matter. It's time we start all coming together and unite. It's time we demand. Our respect as working class ppl! They can send billions of dollars to other countries but can help our veterans thats dealing with PTSD living on the streets. They can't help a family where both parents are working just to keep a roof over their children's head. They rather give housing to ppl that just came to the country that never had to experience the pain of being an American that's struggling to just food on the table. I'm tired! I'm tired of being broke as soon as I get paid, I'm tired of having to deal with thinking I was doing what they told me to do. "Go to college, and be somebody" instead I'm in student loan debt dealing with the consequences of going to college and not working in the field I went to school foe because I can't find a job in that field. I'm tired.
Something beautiful to add to this: Oliver posted a "what's next" video yesterday in response to the massive success of "Rich Men North of Richmond" and in it, he brought a message of *unity* . He was humble and spoke of loving each other. Really, truly have mad respect for that man.
Oliver Anthony had a serious drinking problem until he got on bended knee and asked God to help him. Then this happened. They Synagogue of Satan is behind the world's plight. It's mentioned in Revelations.
Thats a great way to look at it. Intelligent because we all have way more in common than we do in the reverse. More people need to actually listen to the world and expand thier understanding.
This song is having more of an influence than any song I can recall..... And it's doing so 100% by word of mouth. A true reminder than it's not right vs left, black vs white.... It's ALL of us vs THEM, Good vs Evil.
Good for this man getting all these views on bare minimal music. Auto tune? No, just heart and soul! I love you Stevie! And to anyone in here suffering like I am, much love to you!
The unification and love around this man pouring his soul out, expressing something we've all been feeling for so long, makes me feel hopeful for the first time in a long time.
This song is universal and worldwide. Here in the UK we are feeling the same thing. This resonates with me so much. Currently unable to pay my bills living at home with my parents at 43 in a housing estate barely making ends meet. Working 12 hour shifts unable to get a mortgage and paying off debts just to survive.
Best part of the video was just seeing how calm the environment was, the dogs laying down, relaxed with their owner. While he's fighting against the storm, lyrically. The craftsmanship of this production is top class. Can't wait for more from oliver.
This song hits so hard cause hes going through it just like the rest of us...no mainstream singer could have gotten this message across cause they aren't going through it.
I just had this conversation with a guy at work, that these mainstream singers (a majority of them) have never struggled so they make surface music, nothing with actual depth. I’m not a big new country music fan because of it, no depth, no emotion, no experience.
Right? I'm just glad he came out and said "This song isn't about Joe Biden" so people can't hijack the song's meaning. He wrote it about Republicans like the ones on stage at the debates. He said so himself.
A lot of people are missing one part, but it is the most important part... he sings " they want to know what you think, want to know what you do... they dont think that you know, but he knows that you do. Cause your dollar aint shit, its taxed to end" he is basically say thwy spying on everything, but they think we are dumb and defeated, they think we dont care.... but he (Oliver) knows the 1. We do know, and 2. We know whats next cause our dollar aint shit caused its taxed- saying revolution is the only option to regain freedom
I was hoping you'd do this, stevie! This song speaks to the soul! It's a song that did more for this country(the world) in a matter of a few minutes than the corrupt govt have done for the American people in DECADES! God bless oliver for sharing this with all of us. This is the sentiment we all feel and it was so beautifully done. I've been nonstop listening to this and it cuts deeper and deeper each time. You know you're doing something right when you get over 12 million views 6 days when no one knew your name before! WE HEAR YOU OLIVER ANTHONY, WE KNOW WHO ARE NOW!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ "Young Men are putting themselves 6 feet in the ground bcuz all this damn country does is keep kicking them down. That line is soul splicing. My brother was one of them men. Miss him every day. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
No one's gonna kick me down. I'm ready to go out... for a reason. The corruption is too embedded in the system for voting change. Money runs the elections. Stalin said "it's not who votes, it's who counts the votes" That's where we are...
Thank you for this reaction! 50+ year old white woman and educator here. I have no doubt the scariest thing we can do to those "Rich Men North of Richmond" is to ignore them and start talking to each other. Forget the politics of division: stand together, speak Truth without fear like Oliver Anthony is doing, and see what happens.
As a governmental worker that does surveys on the health and wellness of United States citizens, you are completely true! We need to band together against the powers that hold us back. Our founding fathers knew this day would come and they would want us to fight back and reclaim our country. They are the foreigners. They don’t even know the people they are suppose to serve.
It’s rare that someone comes out of nowhere and encapsulates so artfully what everyone is going through. It’s a great reminder that no matter our own problems we the people are in this together and on the same side being stepped on by the same powerful elites. Gotta say I think this is my favorite reaction video so far, your expressions were so genuine!
It is amazing how Radio WV shows 23M views now and over 100,000 comments, many of my own, too. It's utterly fascinating how you see people from Australia, New Zealand, Iran, Nigeria, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, England, Scotland, Ireland, Argentina, Brazil, and Canada--all commenting on how much this song means to them and how they were brought to tears hearing it. That's beyond powerful. 💖🙏🌎

Time for men like us to step up and regain control of our country that's being ruined by Washington DC

Aussie here...and Absolutely!
Oliver speaks for all common sense people around the world that are tired of the elite taking advantage of the working class citizens. Beautiful song!
The elite don't get it - they don't understand that the working class is proud to work and provide for themselves, and maybe even start our own business someday. They think if they give us enough "benefits" we'll be happy. They don't understand us at all.

"Young men are putting themselves 6 feet in the ground cause all this damn country does is keep kickin them down" is one of the most impactful lines that gets missed because of what comes before it.
Men have been putting themselves 6 feet under for their country for along time l.
Absolutely.

True when the man says people like me and people like you he's talking about all of
News called this a racist Republican song.
Do you mean like back when the US had 48 states or fewer?
It's a song for the middle class who sees their hard earned dollars getting less and less for more work and time away from home. Inflation, never ending taxes...it speaks to the middle and lower class.
I’ve been trying to pinpoint exactly what makes this song pop off and I agree with you.
@@francisdashwood1760back when people didn’t have to explain common sense to people who have been brainwashed by their fav politicians and their closest celebrity sheep
That's not what the songs about ... it's deeper then that ... dig deeper my friend
Oliver Anthony has reached into our minds and pulled out the pain 1/2 of the world is feeling right now. Those of us who work hard, pay our bills, taxes and have been beaten down the last few years.
Don't be light this shits been going on for a very very long time
You are absolutely correct!!!
Oliver Anthony had a serious drinking problem until he got on bended knee and asked God to help him. Then this happened.
God created the differences. He had his chosen people (Jews) commit genocide in the Old Testament.
@@deadrose007 I feel really sorry for you. It must be hell being so jaded that you have to make negative pathetic jabs at the reaction to a true American song. It speaks to all of us , well except for you.

Only one thing the establishment truly fears ….. our unity over their tyranny against us all ….. goosebumps almost tears … this hit hard
and how is the establishment the poor and fat people he whines about? Smh
They've probably heard this song more than us. Not saying bad. I like it. I've checked out all I can find on him. I just mean the rehearsing.
That's why Biden's dogs bite people...
I’m retired. I didn’t work in factories, except in summers. But I come from that grouping of people. This song screams to me. It brings me back! People want hope in a system that has chewed them up and spit them out! Rich Men North of Richmond is a theme which may galvanize a movement, a generation… make that several generations!
yes let’s make this a movement!!
To do what? Blame poverty on people on welfare already?
I am a 63 year old white Canadian. I spent this afternoon watching several 'reaction' videos by Black men reacting to this song and every single one of them gives me hope that all is not lost. This song CANNOT be an American anthem. It has to be the anthem for all of us. And I APPRECIATE you guys doing your reaction videos because you are making this song reach people that may otherwise have passed on it. Thank you thank you thank you. I think it's 8 million views now. That's 8,000,000 people all on the same side. I love you all.
43 MILLION now plus all these huge views from all the other reaction videos.
The fact you felt the need to mention race is proof that the propaganda is working. The elites try to pit us all against each other so we don't see the truth. It's not black vs white, left vs right, or religious beliefs. It's regular people vs billionaires. We can do this.
In the words of Lyndon B. Johnson:
"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."
He's telling the truth. ❤
I feel you, I have been watching and reacting to reactions....I just watched two men from Pakistan LOOSE it over these lyrics. It just goes to show you that politicians caring about profit and power over the working mans problems is a worldwide issue.
They do it for the views. That’s it

I can't stop listening to this song and watching react videos to it. He really has captured what most of the rest of us are feeling.
DAMN.

They are wolves in sheeps clothing
Saying this as someone who used to be very left wing, but lost faith in any politician who espouses those causes
As I’ve said for awhile there’s very much a class issue in this country the sooner we team up against those fucks The better.
Same brother. I got two lil ones and my wife is too naive as to what’s on the horizon here in the states. Jus prepping the best I can for them.
@@brittanytrapani1837"all of us humble people" wtf are you doing doing help? It sounds like your husband is just supporting you and all your doing is acting like your doing something on youtube. Get off your ass and actually do something
Where we go from here is onto our knees to cry out to THE LIVING GOD who saved this man. Read 2 Chronicles 14 about King Asa, surrounded by over a million men coming to takeover their Nation. He cried out to God and The ALMIGHTY God moved on behalf of Judah.
If we seek Him, we will find HIM!
Listen to this man's testimony, the one who sang this song. God met him when he was at the end of himself.
The way people are connecting with this song is incredible. People from every race, all over the world can feel this and get goosebumps.
I love how much our african american brothers are vibing with this masterpiece, that is definitely intended for all of us. Amen
That’s what “They” don’t want. All of us Americans coming together. It’s going to take all of us together to fix this problem that “They” have been creating for years. I’m sick of their corruption and I’m sure everyone else is too.
Love and respect from Arkansas to everyone reading this. Let’s Roll…
Gives me goosebumps and a lump in my throat. Worked 60 years of my life away. This song hit hard and so dam true! Awesome song and perfect for today!
Tears in my eyes every time . The new anthem
Could this song be a spark that ignites the fuse to a revolt? My god, i hope so!!
I honestly think this song turned a bunch of people away from the democratic party and big government in general.
The fact that we can all sing along after hearing once shows how close to the bone this simple song hits.❤️🇦🇺
That PART RIGHT THERE! Like our soul just attached to it instantly 🙏🏼🥺

Agreed, simple does not mean simple minded, it just means it's true
Thats a great way to look at it. Intelligent because we all have way more in common than we do in the reverse. More people need to actually listen to the world and expand thier understanding.
My goodness you said it before I could. Complete facts!
Over a year later and this still speaks to us!
Your reaction is priceless, just like so many others. It’s politicians, and globalists keeping us divided. Nothing else, this song proves it.
The unification and love around this man pouring his soul out, expressing something we've all been feeling for so long, makes me feel hopeful for the first time in a long time.
This song is universal and worldwide. Here in the UK we are feeling the same thing. This resonates with me so much. Best part of the video was just seeing how calm the environment was, the dogs laying down, relaxed with their owner. While he's fighting against the storm, lyrically. The craftsmanship of this production is top class. Can't wait for more from oliver.
Man was fighting demons with his voice and the dog just being the calming force in the storm
He is here on You Tube and has a song list worthy of going through
This song hits so hard cause hes going through it just like the rest of us...no mainstream singer could have gotten this message across cause they aren't going through it.
EXACTLY. Not only is he living by his lyrics, but he's literally one of us
I just had this conversation with a guy at work, that these mainstream singers (a majority of them) have never struggled so they make surface music, nothing with actual depth.
I’m not a big new country music fan because of it, no depth, no emotion, no experience.
This....
This is exactly what I was thinking, the reason it impacts us all so deeply is because it’s real, it’s the truth
Right? I'm just glad he came out and said "This song isn't about Joe Biden" so people can't hijack the song's meaning. He wrote it about Republicans like the ones on stage at the debates. He said so himself.
I'm in Canada this man is singing for us all. He's saying what most are afraid to talk about. But we must
A lot of people are missing one part, but it is the most important part... he sings " they want to know what you think, want to know what you do... they dont think that you know, but he knows that you do.
This song is the cry of the innocent...we live it here in Brazil, it's incredible, it reached the world.
