I worked as a paramedic in Texas for 15 years . One Saturday night my partner and I were called to a house on the outskirts of town (I can’t mention the town for legal reasons) where we found a young woman who had been badly beaten by her drunken boyfriend. (He had run off) She had broken bones and bleeding internally… we took her to the hospital where she had 3 hours of surgery to repair the damage he had done…Later that night another unit was called to the same address where the boyfriend was found beaten within an inch of his life and left there… no one knew how he got that way but he got patched up in time to stand trial for attempted murder, DV, and violating a protective order… my partner and I had to testify and the bastard was sent to prison for 30 plus years ( he was a repeat offender) before he even will come up for parole… that my friends is true frontier justice…
Thank god for Texas to distribute Justice!!!!
My husband of 33 years walked in while I was watching your reaction and said, “That’s not gangster, that’s f*** around and find out”! ❤
Truck bed by Hardy is a funny video.
Good man. I feel the same.
Yep that is fuck around and find out ... not Gangster
That’s a MAN
oh yeah im autistic but thats a true statement this a reality in the south because most of us know that unless we are felons we have the god given right to protect our self or others if necessary
As a DV survivor....this song is amazing. There's a piece of every person that has gone through DV that wishes someone would have done that for us.
So true!!! 💔
Sometimes garbage just has to be taken care of. Righteous.
That's why the dude went to prison for murder.
Every southern woman KNOWS what it means when a Man says...Wait In The Truck!!❤
SO TRUE.
Amen. My wife would only not cause she'd want some acton too
@@kevingreen6621😂😂😂😂
We can't help it😆
I actually saw my dad throw hands a few times on the side of the road. We definitely knew what "wait in the truck" meant.
Absolutely true
My mother was killed by domestic violence when I was 13. This song.. their voices hit my soul in a different way than most. It is a great song to me
So sorry for your loss 😢
I'm so sorry for your loss and what she went through. Rest her soul. Peace and payers to you.
My heart breaks for the childhood you lost in that moment 😢
Prayers for comfort and peace from our Father God.
I'm happy you have a voice in the pain you lived, keep kicking ass. I am a proud nobody that's rooting for you.
The thing with country is that it's meant to be a storytelling genre. Every good country song I've ever heard has told a story, and that's why I love country music.
Exactly this.
I respect his resolve in the situation... Country, I don't care from the 60s to now.I love it
I think that’s why I love George Strait so much. A lot of his songs do that. Colter Wall is a great one from the newer generation as well.
Not selling me on the genre in general, but I also like a good story.
@@dizastro5437 You definitely don't need to like the genre. Not every genre is for every person. Just please don't judge country music by country radio. Whoever picks what goes on air sometimes feels like a Cali frat boy because they rarely play the best music these days.
“I never thought my day of justice would come from a judge under a seat” was brilliant a Taurus Judge is a .45 Colt revolver
"I let the 'hammer' drop........" Justice has been served and final.
.45 colt or 410 bore, some can even fire a 454 casull.
Ive got .410 in mine 😂
Sorry, I just reread my post, I meant to say .45 Colt and 410 bore. Some fire 454 casull and 410 bore
Just one shot not revolver correct
Bud if you come from the south every woman knows what wait in the truck means.
Amen to that.
At the bare minimum someone is catching an ass-whupping they'll never forget, if the dealer is feeling charitable.
One thing I love about this video is at the end she drives away in his truck. She's still waiting in the truck for him
If more people thought the way he did maybe less women would be abused!
AMEN
Very true but unfortunately the possibility of being murdered by the state for defending someone who needs it is a very large deterrent for major portion of the population
Lmao. More men would be in prison for no good women.
there's lots of us country boys like this... don't ask questions... just close your eyes... we got this
And then you go to prison... life ruined.
@@blakethegreatone2058it's worth it
This song resonates with so many women who just wish someone would have picked us up and told us, “Wait in the Truck”!
You have to listen to “Jack” by Hardy!!!
Yes it does. Been there and it sucked!!!
Amen!
Men shouldn't be willing to go to prison for a woman.
"I don't know if he's an Angel., 'cause Angles don't do what he did." he was blessed by Gabriel, Archangel of War.
Not to be nitpicky, but Michael is the archangel of war, and destined to throw Lucifer into the abyss for a thousand years.
Gabriel is the archangel of death, who visited Mary to tell her she'd give birth to Jesus, and the one who went door to door in Egypt and killed their first born as the tenth plague.
@@dustinwilson4815Knowing that, Gabriel is far more fitting to give the blessing.
@@Lunzatis_Palemoon It might bear consideration that the singer's first name is Michael, and that in this song he sent that woman's "Lucifer" to the abyss as well.
I mean, if we're relating such hyperbole to the song to begin with...
@@dustinwilson4815 That is definitely one way to look at it. However, the Angel of War would be related more with Destruction than Death considering that there is an Angel of Death and an Angel of War.
The main male character in the video was more like a Grim Reaper than an Angel of War.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Never knew that justice would come from a judge under the seat. Love that line ❤
It’s a great line and it’s a double. A court judge and a Taurus Judge.
@@jermac8263 Yep. Some people will argue that's not what it means but in an interview on the CMT awards Hardy said when the song was a hit he gave Lainey a Taurus Judge as a gift.
@@dogsoldiertoo1099 very cool. and that certainly looked like a Judge in the truck
I'm surprised how many people seem to know that the Taurus Judge is a model of pistol... I just didn't know it was that famous.
@@Todrick451 Not many pistols out there that can shoot 410 shotgun as well as .45 caliber. Its a rare concept
Hardy is a master song writer. He wrote a lot of Morgan Wallen songs. His song "Jack" has a metal vibe to it. It's underrated for sure but it's a good song. "Give Heaven Some Hell" is perhaps my favorite song and has deep meaning for me. "A Rock" from the same album as Give Heaven...is lyrically amazing. Hardy is a phenomenal artist.
That whole album, you can see his alternative side
He’s a great performer, but his writing skills are simply insane! The best writer in the game currently
A Rock is almost a masterpiece
Hardy can combine country and metal.
Same with the song "sold out"
His "Mockingbird and the crow" Will light you both up.
YES!
2nd that
One of the best songs ever written.
Yes!!!!!
💯
I disagree. No he should not spend the rest of his life in prison. Absolutely not.
But it is all the more meaningful because he knew what was right to do even though it meant he would spend the rest of his life in prison. Another measurement of doing the right thing is what it costs you to do it.
Sometimes the right thing may be viewed as wrong. No one should ever hurt another person, but if they do, they should expect some retribution.
He defended another person he didn't even know. These days he's a murderer. But that is not always the case though. A few years ago a man was found not guilty of murder after he beat his daughters rapist to death with his bare hands. There is still hope. The people who say violence is not the answer are the problem. Violence is not the answer part of the time... But there are times where it is the answer.
He didn't mean rightfully so about spending time in jail ... he meant it about killing they guy
@@galerios1violence isn’t always the answer, but when it is, it’s the ONLY answer. Stay real, king.
Good ol southern justice, it reminds me of stories I've heard around my small town about men that were abusive goin missing with no police looking for em. There's two rules in the south, you leave kids alone and you never EVER lay your hands on a woman.
Lmao. And then they go to prison. Not worth it.
@@blakethegreatone2058 Haven't heard of anyone going to prison out here, unless the abusive person went to jail and got killed while in prison
Unless they are crooked cops
Man hath no greater love than to give up his life for another. Secondly everyone who grew up in the south knows what wait in the truck means.
I grew up in a small town in Texas....this song is dumb and Hardy is a psychopath in this song
@@franquil85connyou're just ignorant 😂😂😂
@@franquil85conn you're on the lonely side of this but welcome to your opinion, of course.
@@Murica_gaming really? So this guy is driving through a town he's never been to, and he spotted a girl standing in the middle of the road, at midnight, in a rain storm. In East Texas there is a 95% chance that girl is on meth, but I digress. She looks beat up, so instead of taking her to a police station, you ask her where he lives. Then after you decided not to "load her down with questions", you drive to his trailer pull a gun out of your truck and tell her to "wait in the truck" meaning the stranger you picked up can't even positively ID the stranger you are about to kill....hope his buddy wasn't over watching the UFC fights. Next you are gonna "knocked and knocked and no one came so I kicked in his double wide door"...so you are telling me that it is after midnight, you are beating on the door of someone that has a 12 guage shotgun and the home owner isn't gonna grab it and blow you off the porch as soon as you "kicked in his double-wide door"....come on....lastly this guy threw his life away, murdered someone, not for a sister, friend, mother...no for some stranger and he didn't even question her about what happened, that's psychopathic behavior, is it not?
That said Trevor Bauer, former pitcher of the Dodgers, got released after a girl he had sex with posted pictures of her busted up face saying he beat her up. After 2 years in court, with him not being able to publicly defend himself, it came out through text messages that she did it to herself to "get a piece of [his] 51mil"...he was innocent and she was a litigious gold digger and she didn't care what happened to him as long as she could get some of that money....In this "Wait in the truck" scenario, Hardy murders Trevor Bauer without even finding out if the girl was a liar. How ignorant am I again?
@@cranberrymarmalade9081 read what I just posted to Murica_gaming and you will understand why I feel that way
He replaced himself in her prison. Very powerful...
Powerful? He will be in jail for decades because she wouldn't leave
Yeah, it’s deep.
And I noticed that she "waited in the truck" before driving away 🤗
Only question is will she be there,in his truck, to pick him up when he finishes that five years sentenced.
@@user-pv7dg4lv5u its not a 5 years sentence. he said its been 60 months not that he got 60 months
@@goodoleboy83ya, probably got 20- life. Such a dumb song.
Whiskey lullaby !! Need to see that emotional reaction
This is rude to blindside them with, but I fully agree.
Oh, yes!
❤❤ Yes!! Such an AMAZING song!
YES!!!
I want this so bad.
Not sure if y'all realized it, or not, but when he kicks in the door, the abuser drops his lit cigarette in an ashtray. The cigarette he's smoking is the same cigarette, because he reaches down and picks it up, he never lights it! I love this song, along with the listener's reaction to it. I say this because I know I've probably watched nearly 100 reactions to this song, if not
more. Y'all are the first reaction I've seen, that's has caught on to the fact (or maybe they saw it, & never said anything) that she's driving his truck! First time viewing y'all, but it won't be the last
Why we should pass the Punisher act. The act of defending the helpless should give you rights to do what's right, even if laws say otherwise..
Hardy - Give Heaven Some Hell
Hardy - Sold Out
I swear metal heads have the biggest hearts… the reactions were chefs kiss 💋
That truck is her safe place. I can personally relate
the first time i heard this was right after a grown man tried "GETTING" my daughter for lack of a better term. and when i heard this i was driving and i had to pull over and i felt this song so hard. in that situation the cops got there before i did, but when i heard this song it embodied everything i felt that day. I would love to meet Hardy day and thank him for this song.
I'm the oldest of nine siblings and I have six sisters. I pray I never have to do this for any of them, not because of the consequences for me, but for what it would mean they went through.
But I'd do it in a fucking heartbeat, no one's laying a hand on a woman if I'm around, especially my family.
Maybe I'm just soft, or maybe its from having so many sisters, but the sound of a woman in pain or fear physically hurts me. Another one of my favorite UA-camrs is Donut Operator and a couple of his law enforcement videos make me shiver.
Not everyone catches the Judge under the seat is a revolver made by Taurus.
The thing that always bring me back to country music is the storytelling. No matter how I feel about a genre or artist or style, if it’s got a good story to it I’m hooked. Glad y’all liked this one!
And remember if you don't like Southern justice, you might be the one who was judged by the judge under the seat.
Lmao. Enjoy prison.
I saw Hardy in an interview a couple weeks ago & he said he got Lainey a Judge pistol as a gift. You have probably heard Lainey's name because she has a duet with Jelly Roll. 'Save me'. And his full name is Michael Wilson Hardy. He has been writing for other for years. Lots of 'radio ready' stuff & decided to start writing for himself so he can say what he wants to say, He has a twist on all his music. His song 'The Mockingbird & the Crow' describes his journey kinda. He started as a mockingbird, writing the 'expected' & & the song is like that... then halfway through, he becomes the Crow, & the music gets harder & the lyrics get harder & he starts speaking his truth. Clever lyricist.
This is what country music used to be about. A story that invokes an emotional response, even after the first listen. More than that, it is country because out here we have to solve our own problems. There is a Judge under my seat as well.
He gave up his freedom so another human being can finally live free. Priceless!
Yup, what a dummy.
Listen to anything made by Hardy, Morgan Wallen, Ernest, Chris Stapleton and you will continue to like country.
Don’t forget Luke Combs
They performed it live at the country music awards.. it was just as good live as recorded. Hardy gives me that Southern Rock vibe like Lynyrd Skynyrd or Kid Rock. Anyway, this song makes me cry every time.
In my opinion the live version from the awards show sounded even better then the video version.
Glad to see you guys checking out hardy. This album has alot of metal roots in it. The songs The mockingbird and the crow, sold out and kill shit till I die have been on octane radio
Hardy is saving country rock! Check out more of his stuff for sure. Truck Bed, Rednecker, Jack & Sold Out are great songs of his. He's written some of the biggest country song for the biggest artists.
“Sold out” is one of the best songs.
Y’all need to check out HARDY. He is GENIUS. He dabbles in metal, rock, country, you name it. His song mockingbird and THE CROW is a great place to start
Thank you .. I did go listen to more Hardy
"judge under a seat" is in reference to the Judge pistol he used. It shots the . 45 colt and the . 410 shotgun shell
That line "smokin one of HIS cigarettes.." made the song...
Harry Radio Song is more up your Alley! A must!
I agree! I think they would love Hardy's rock and metal stuff.
Few people notice she's driving his truck at the end. It's beautiful
If y’all are ready dabble into hardy!!!
I loved this song even before the video came out. HARDY is an excellent writer and most of his songs have a catch/twist with words.
Hardy is amazing! He also has a song with Jeremy McKinnon of A Day To Remember. Some that I think you guys would love by Hardy, are:
I Ain’t In The Country No More
Jack (my personal favorite)
Sold Out
Truck Bed
the mockingbird & THE CROW
The judge under the seat line is a dual reference to a 'Taurus Judge' pistol. This is a pistol that shoots a .410 shotgun shell. Absolute crap at any range (like all shotty's) but at the distance he was using it at, yeah... it'll perforate someone's melon very well. 1S1K.. One shot, one kill.
by their reaction, they seemed to know that.
Listen to Hardy’s “ Give Heaven some Hell” you won’t be disappointed.
Hardy is an amazing songwriter and relatively new performer of his songs. He’s different country!
Sue, Welcome to Rykerroad!! 👋🤗
First time on your channel. I always felt that metal heads were super emotional dudes, so seeing Kyle with tears in his eyes throughout half the song just kind of sealed that for me.
Oh. My. Gosh. Definitely one of your Best Reactions! What an incredible song and video! 💜💜
He has wrote a lot of great songs including this one. A very good song writer and artist. 😊
Nobody seems to notice that she is still waiting on the truck. Awesome! Hardy is tha man! Dive down the rabbit hole. He does a little of everything.
Ya, stole his truck after he stupidly murdered someone.
Hardy was the collab Beartooth did for "Better Me" Hardy is also a huge metal head
Also the song Hardy did with the lead singer of A Day To Remember was good. I was surprised when I first heard it.
@@durky4891 I believe he also did uncredited vocals on Bilmuri's Corn-Fed Yetis
There is actually a drum cam video of Bilmuri performing the song with Hardy and Knox. Just found it.
Great reaction guys
I still get chills when she simply says "Thank you". This is such a great song.
Yeah...one of the best reactions for this song.
I was a victim of DV for several years. I enlisted in the Army to get away and be safe. Then I became a police officer, and helped women who were victims. It felt really good to put cuffs on the abusers.
Ahh country. My first love. This is some good shit
The video of them performing the song at the cmas is amazing
He got five years of time for what we here in TX call a misdemeanor murder, or maybe a public service homicide. But, according to him,it wouldn't have mattered if he were sentenced to a life term because he did what needed to be done to bring peace of mind and justice to the victim.
He was still in jail after 5 years and I live in Texas and that psychopath would be thrown under the jail
@@franquil85connyou've had multiple posts on this video saying the same thing. Seems really odd that you have so much animosity for a song of a fictitious story.
@@maynarddrivesfast804 it's the fact that people think it's a good thing that the dude in the song went off and murdered someone. He got put in prison and had his truck stolen by some hussy. Not worth ruining your life for some random broad.
There is a live version of them singing this at the ACM awards that is real good.
There is a handful of songs that I watch every reaction of that I can find. This is one of THOSE songs! Right next to Hi Ren, Wrong Side of Heaven.. and AMAZING REACTION ❤
I have thought a lot about this song since it came out. I came to the conclusion that Hardy’s character must have been raised by a victim of domestic violence, and seen it for himself, and most likely seen the system fail to protect his mother. That is the reason I see being feasible for him to IMMEDIATELY turn the violence up to that level for a woman he had never met. He was likely too young to protect his mother, but not this woman….
Hardy is fire 🔥 A little Rock, a little country. Hell of a story teller.
Wrong side of the truck bed. It's supposed to be country but it has a heavy metal twist. It's awesome
I'm a vet. I also got stupid and am a felon, not allowed to have a 'judge under the seat' but. I'd have still done the same...and willingly paid the price with no thought
Fellow it here also... and would do the same damn thing
I went through what she went through for 17 years. I didn’t have a Romeo, I just had me. I had had enough! I couldn’t feel the pain of his fists anymore, actually I couldn’t feel anything. But God told me, it’s time to go or you’re going to die. So, with no plan and nowhere to go, I left. It took me several years to realize I am a person just like anybody else. Yes, I made it on my own and got a job making pretty good money. I made it. But, I forgave him. We run into each other now and then, and we get along just fine. He knows he has no more power over me. I couldn’t have done this without God telling me to go, and with him helping me find my way. Thanks guys for your reaction and emotions.
the mockingbird and the Crow is a great song by Hardy. Also, Give Heaven Some Hell is another great one!
21 pilots overcompensate
You all should check out the live performance of this song
they got cma award for that song
More (Hardy ) brothers 😉✌🏽🎶music is life !! ❤️🩹
Hardy is an incredible writer. Wrote for a lot of major country artists before he became a singer himself. Check out sold out.
I've seen a LOT of reactions to this song, and this is by far my favorite.
Please go down the Hardy rabbit hole. The Mockingbird and The Crow, Radio Song, Sold Out, Jack, So many good ones.
I'm not a modern country fan but legit story telling is my jam.
You’d love Hardy, he’s rock country. He’s in a genre of his own!
I’m not a country fan but this song got me. Fan of Hardy for sure.. looking forward to more reactions from yall on his music
New Knocked Loose song came out called "Blinding Faith" i CANT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH probably their best stuff
This song does a great job at jerkin a tear and within the next 10-20 seconds making everything better again lmao.
A good country song tells a great story
You had the best reaction to this song. Love it. It is a very emotional song.
Same album, Check out "Jack", "Sold out", and "The Mockingbird and the Crow".
Hardy's "Give Heaven Some Hell" is one of my favorites. Also "Truck Bed"
The only man i ever dated who cared enough to keep me safe told me once to wait in the car. We had went out for a few drinks. There was a rowdy crowd of drunk guys circling us. Before i could say a word that something felt off. My date took me by the hand and made sure i got in his car safely. He said calmly. Wait in the car. As that rowdy crowd followed us. I was absolutely terrified what was about to happen. Fast forward 5 years later, i married that man. From that moment, I've never been scared when he's around.
Ive watched a lot of reactors reactions to this song and you guys are the first ones that caught the line about the Judge under the seat. That’s a serious revolver. It can chamber a .45, .454 Casull, or even a .410 bore shotgun shell. I wonder which one was loaded up for this justice?
I’ve stood out in that rain
I've seen him live twice. He kicks ass. He's hard core. He is brilliant at bringing his songs to life. Him and his Best friend, Morgan Wallen, are beautiful storytellers!
Country is real life therefore, it brings to the surface all things other genres shy away from.
Thank y’all for being openminded.
I love Hardy. You should check out the mockingbird & the crow, sold out, and screen!!
Wrong side of the truck bed is another great one
They play this on the radio out here occasionally
She’s still waiting in the truck!
That "twangy" sound is called a guitar! Quite popular in today's country music!
THE BEST reaction video ever!! Great job! I think you picked up on everything in the lyrics & video (the judge, the truck, the cigarette).
That song always hits so hard. Lainey Wilson's voice is killer, anything she is part of is amazing. All of Hardy's music hits, just have to read into it and listen, close your eyes and listen. Master Story Teller.
Lainey Wilson got her huge start on Yellowstone, she's amazing! She does tons of duets!
Turn you down -hardy ft zakk wylde and Morgan wallen =BANGER
Hardy is carving his own path, little bit of metal, little bit of rap and a whole lot of country.
I love the uniqueness of his music ("Jack" a song about alcoholism in young men, that gets played on a rock radio station here, "Quit" a short rap about people being nasty when artists are starting out). The best one that says exactly what Hardy is all about, is "Mockingbird and the Crow" which is an F U statement about the mass production of the music industry, and about him following his own path.
I'd recommend giving this one a listen if you want to do another Hardy song!
