  • In this 5 minute awakener, I talk about a message I received in the ROCD/RA Academy (Rocdcourse.com) about wasting their time with ROCD/RA.
In this video, I talk about how I've personally worked with this specific concern and question and how I've used this question to empower me.
Disclaimer: As always, we are NEVER talking about abusive relationships and/or narcissistic relationships - we are speaking for people in secure relationships and couples who are willing to grow out of dysfunctional patterns

Thank you for this beautiful video! You never fail to educate me so that I can better myself. You've truly saved me from loosing the love of my life, and I couldn't thank you more. I'm still working on it and it's been about 5 months now but i'm finally starting to see where I belong and it's right where I was before, just without those thoughts. I really started to meditate every morning, and tell myself and dig deeper to figure out why I was worrying and I could never find a valid reason. That was an eye opener for me and took around 5 months to achieve but that's what I tell myself now whenever I get those thoughts.
"I have nothing truly to worry about and my mind is creating a false sense of urgency because I am scared. I am safe with myself. I am safe in this relationship. I accept my thoughts whether good or bad, and it doesn't change the type of person I am"

could you speak more about attachment styles
especially in an anxious avoidant relationship
i feel like my partner wouldnt want to learn about attachment styles and would feel judged if he were told he is a dismissive avoidant
everyone on yt is telling me the relationship is either doomed or giving me tips that i dont know how to incorporate

Is it normal to lose the want to be in a relationship? To not understand anymore what it is good for?

I am a learner, I’ve been married thrice, I’m very smart and super social, but I’m not a psychologist and so I don’t believe relationships should require us to understand psychological concepts

If you have ROCD which is a psychological disorder, sometimes it’s important to understand psychology in order to be in a successful relationship
