Is this considered an upgrade for the DSP cable on my Simgot EW300 DSP? I’m looking to upgrade the cable, and this is one of the options. Are there possibly better options available?
Great video! Just a suggestion, when you wrap the cable, you should include the iem itself cause that's how it usually is or maybe include a part where you do that as well. Anyways, I hope to see your review of TRN BT20 pro soon!
Yeah, it works suprisely very well... I have some KZ headphones and this mondrop 78mm cable fits very tightly inside the 75mm KZ pin. The only problem in doing this, you dont get external protection in KZ pin and looks very uggly in some cases... but works
They look nice, but the 2-pin wouldn’t fit the IEMs I typically use. Maybe I should get a Wan Er or something similar to test this type of cable. I’ll look into it, thanks for the suggestion!
Are the wires attached tightLY in the DAÇ? Coz i own a couple of cheap ones where i detached the cable from type c port while un plugging the iems from my phone
I haven’t had any issues with the construction or where the wires terminate into the DAC. Although I am very careful with my cables and would never pull the USB-C end out by pulling on the wires, I always grab the plug end.
difference with $13 moondrop cdsp cable ? other than the difference of cable material ? do they have the same output power and run the link app the same way ?
@leojz777 depends how cheap you can find May for. The cable alone is typically $30. You can find May on sale for around $50. The May version of the cable will come default set to a special EQ for May, so you’ll need access to the currently Android-only Link 2.0 app to change to a neutral EQ if you want to use the cable with other IEMs.
2:20 mic test/ sample
Can i use this cable with truthear hexa and crinical red Without any issues?
Yes

I haven’t found a great USB-C (built in DAC) cable yet. I’m going to be trying another USB-C cable soon, we will see how good it is.

Good idea, I will definitely start including this!
Can it adapt to any KZ hearing aid?
no. kz is qkz connector

What are you trying to say? KZ is only good as a hearing aid. I agree!
Have you ever considered doing a trn redchain or the trn seaserpent cable review? I consider those cables to be one of my very favourites

I don’t have the cheaper DSP cable so I can’t confirm.
Any chance it is compatible to the CHU 2?
Yes
If I add sleeve (something like the transparent one at the ear hook) to the cable so it won't get damaged will that cause problems to the cable ?🤔
No it would not hurt the cable.
@@IEMCableReviews has anyone tried ?
Moondrop *free* dsp
If you want to buy it alone youll have to shell out $35~
So it would be better to buy Moondrop May?
