That’s crazy. I’m sitting here on an island at the Danish border watching your video from the other side of the planet and your fridge has a compressor by Danvoss, a company on another island in Denmark, just 100 km away from where I live.
I have a danfoss compressor in my small marine fridge. Its been constantly running since 2001 because I use it as a freezer. It may cost more up front for Danfoss yet is a great investment for full time living.
@@cheapcigs9772 I have an Icecool JP50 with a Danfoss compressor. Used as a refrigerator to cool things to 36 degrees from 75 ambient temperature, it uses about 8 watts per hour on average. I can run it for a week on a 120Ah battery. It may use more in warmer conditions and/or used as a freezer. Figure on maybe 12 watts in a worst-case scenario, which would be 1 amp per hour.
Hey Forrest. Fleet mechanic here. You can buy breakers at Napa auto parts or most auto parts stores in the 250-300A range. Get a marine grade one if its going to be outside the van. That way if it trips you can just reset it instead of waiting for a new fuse.

I swapped out my high output alternator behind a Napa store in Iowa City in Sept. on a cross country trip. I carry extra battery, alt, starter, and tools. ALWAYS! . Glad to have a van lifer DIY'er to show folks to just Giter Dun.
And yet there is happiness, it cannot but eat.😀👍
Congratulations on your new and necessary purchase.
