My dad used to take our dog jogging when I was younger and would come back saying how the dog surprisngly couldnt keep up, kind of eluding to what a great jogger he was, then year later I see a youtube video that says we have the ability to go long distances because of our ability to sweat, which many animals dont have, this constant cooling lets us not overheat and go long distance compared to animals that cant and will have to stop sooner. Which is kind of weird, you think a deer could outrun you but techiically you'd be the tortious that won the race and i think what probably let us keep up with the migrating herds, when we couldnt chase them down in a sprint during our hunting gathering days, our endurace abaility thanks to sweating.

If I do it again, I would like to find a very affordable storage facility in a small town to keep my larger tools, and replacement parts.
Thanks for taking us along with you and Rocko, she just amazes me with her get up and go! Glad to hear you’re feeling better for not drinking beer; I stopped beer in 2013 and haven’t touched it since. After 7 weeks I noticed my shoulders lift, I felt taller, fewer negative thoughts, more energy, now much happier. I still drink cider, port and wine but only once or twice a month it doesn’t have the same depressive affect on me as beer. Happy travels! Simon (I’m Simon as well)

I took a break from alcohol myself after having at LEAST one beer a day for over 10 years. I went to the fridge one night and had no beer left. It was 8 o'clock at night so I just figured I'd wait till the next day. The next day, the same thing happened, I forgot to get beer early enough. The next day I figured I'd just go a few more days, give myself a bit of a break from it. One week turned into one month which turned into one year, which turned into three years. I had no real desire to drink at all during all that time. But one day I just said "enough of this" ... lol. And I bought a bottle of brandy. I still went about another 6 months without a beer and just last week had my first beer in 3.5 years. I can't say that I felt any better at any time during my alcohol vacation. If you don't over do it normally, I don't think you notice any difference at all when you stop.
That’s exactly what I did with cigarettes. 10 years ago. Have never bought another pack. Kept the 2 cigarettes I had left for about 2 weeks & then realized “I got this”
What a beautiful surprise! I'll be watching again with my cat, Misty. I love the New Hazelton area. We only have 2 small mountains on Haida Gwaii however lots of backroads to explore. Take care.
I was worried for Rocco while you were on your way up, but at the end saw that she's like my hiking cat Kitsoo, who's usually in front of me going anywhere. Thanks for the video! I know how much time and effort it takes. :)
I was anxious with the image of Rocko on the steep rocks watching you climb ahead, but saw the later clips of her moving up ahead. It looks like you came back to help her up through the steep rocks. She's a real climbing buddy! Love seeing Rocko!
I knew in my heart that Rocko was going to be an excellent companion and climbing/hiking partner. She is such a strong pupper! We had some horseback riding friends who had and still have a JRT and she was absolutely a wonderful companion for camping or road trips or just hanging out at the house. Sadly we don't get to camp with them any longer but when we visit, that sweet doggo is still a joy to be around! I feel your frustration - I love getting in a clean vehicle and or coming back to a clean horse trailer. Ya'll are my absolute favorite mountain goats! The care you put into your content is very much appreciated by your fan base! Thank you for your efforts! You and Rocko take care and be safe out there! 🧡🧡👍👍🐶🐶

I was worried for Rocco while you were on your way up, but at the end saw that she's like my hiking cat Kitsoo, who's usually in front of me going anywhere. Thanks for the video! I know how much time and effort it takes. :)
Beautiful video!!! The mountains, the food, the fire, the hike....it's all good!!!!
I was anxious with the image of Rocko on the steep rocks watching you climb ahead, but saw the later clips of her moving up ahead. It looks like you came back to help her up through the steep rocks. She's a real climbing buddy! Love seeing Rocko!
Love watching you both! I have had Jack Russels and cannot believe how much of a mountain climber she is! Love you guys❤
I love the VAN chores with great food! 🤩🤩
I'm converting to Van life. Inspiration, Foresty Forest. You're the best mate. But I will not be doing any hiking. 😁
Most scenic vanlife channel 💯💯💯💯
Another great video and Rocko what a little climber she is.
Man, your drone and camera work are top notch. Been watching you for a good bit and your skills just keep getting better with each video.
