Please don't put pressure on yourself to read more books, the most important thing is to enjoy the process of reading 😍. I wish you happy, healthy, peaceful and creative new year 😃!
The spreads for Babel, House of Earth and Blood and the December cover page are really pretty. The red and dark blue look absolutely stunning on the black pages and I would have never thought that black on black could look so pretty
When I read a book I really want to be able to just enjoy it, so I work on quality over quantity. It’s not a race to see how many books you can read so just enjoy the process!!
Your spreads are always so inspiring even if i dont read much. But ive always gets inspiration for new bullet journal ideas, thank you for being awesome 💖🤗
The December spread is *chefs kiss*. Babel ended up on the shortlist for my favourite book of the year (only missing first place due to The Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker). I'm super looking forward to a flip through of the whole year!
Thanks for the video and your nice wishes for us! I’d definitely watch a flip through of your 2022 journal with stats and everything! Love your content and wishing you and your love ones a very happy and healthy year. ❤😊
This was such a good way to say goodbye to this journal! I was particularly impressed with your December cover page and how you remixed your bullet journal theme. Always love these videos and looking forward to 2023's version! Also I agree about the ending of Crescent City 2, but I think cliffhangers are great 😉
i read pet sematary last year and i didn't really *dislike* it but it really bothered me the way the wife was portrayed, but that's something that I've come to expect with King's older books
I love your spread for babel!!!! The butterflies are just so pretty, and the way you put the washi tape and the scraps of paper really just make it cohesive and beautiful
I had the same audiobook experience when reading "The Institute" by Stephen King. It is read by the same narrator as the "You" series by Caroline Kepnes and Santino Fontana did such a fantastic job portraying the voice of Joe (this is prior to the show, mind you, and I even though Penn Badgley's tone and demeanor matches the idea I had from Fontana when watching so that did not disappoint), it was hard to accept him portraying a child's perspective. All I could hear were the creepy thoughts inside of Joe's head.
Okay so you have all the same opinions as me for SJM. I’ve seen almost no one that likes the second Crescent City book more, but I LOVED it. I also preferred Tower of Dawn. I also sometimes only read four or so books a month. But then I read nearly 20 in others. I just think as long as you have fun, that’s all that matters. ❤
I loved Crescent City sooo much! But one of the reasons I liked it was because I felt it was nothing like Silver Flames? 😂 I love ACOTAR, but Silver Flames to me felt like it lacked fantasy and had way too much unnecessary smut. Crescent City reminded me of how much I like SJM's fantasy/magic worlds (this is of course just my opinion).
Hahahaha, Mats 🤣 Love that you used your adorable ghost cats to decorate the scariest book. Beautiful spread for Babel (those "outer space" pieces are fantastic!) - I'm reading it very slowly on audio right now, liking it a lot. You had a great reading year (and iirc you read mostly things that you really liked)! And you also did a lot of traveling and saw so many beautiful places
If you would like to find more books that are Fantasy that happen in the real world they are called Urban Fantasy and a lot of paranormal romance are like that as well.
For my book tracking system I do treat manga a little differently. Not to diminish the value of reading manga or anything, but just because there can be so many volumes in each series I don't want to fill my whole log with it. I normally just do one "entry" for the first volume and then don't make more if I continue past that.
I can definitely see that! If there are like 30 volumes, I agree it would be a bit overkill to dedicate one spread to each volume😂 I’m leaning towards making spreads for this particular manga though since it’s only 3 volumes (as far as I know at least), and since I’m reading it in Japanese rather than Norwegian or English it takes me a bit longer to get through each volume, especially when it’s a historic fantasy and uses a lot of words I have to look up😂
How do you pick which books to read if you don't read blurbs or reviews beforehand? Do you just look at the genre and the ratings? Getting a kindle is a great way to be able to read more while traveling, books can get quite heavy and take up. lot of space. I love your videos so much! Happy New Year!
Loved this video as always! I was wandering (can't remember if you ever said it) if you read in English or in your mother tongue... Cause I'm Italian and even if I'm pretty fluent in English I can't bring myself to enjoy reading in English...
I read mostly in English, and sometimes in Norwegian🥰 I got so used to reading English books since late elementary school (didn’t want to wait for the Norwegian translation of the 6th and 7th Harry Potter books hahah), and since then I’ve read lots of English books for school and uni, so it feels pretty natural at this point. But I would never read the English translation of a Norwegian book, that would be awful haha!
Lovely spreads! Did you edit out using glue tape while doing the collage in certain parts? It was a bit disconcerting to see some of the paper bits being moved around and later being magically stuck on already...
Agree to disagree about the ending of house of sky and breath… like I said in the discord I hate it, and it sounds like my reason why I don’t like it is why you like it.

I have Babel sitting on my coffee table and now I’m really looking forward to reading it.
Omg yeesss please do!

Aaah that's so sweet!

I agree and I also didn’t like the interjection of random weird thoughts (like cheating) that Louis had that ended up not going anywhere
I loved the ending. It made me want to pick the next one. I also want to go back to read all of her novels again.
I love your spread for babel!!!! The butterflies are just so pretty, and the way you put the washi tape and the scraps of paper really just make it cohesive and beautiful
so excited to see a flip through!
That maple tree in Japan is of where you live,a sight of it is stunning. Also thanks for mentioning this book to me,I’ll definitely read this book.
I liked the ending of Sky and Breath. It made me excited for the next one
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BABEL SPREAD!!!
🖤🖤 Loved the spreads! Your reading journal videos are always fun to watch, it's like I am chatting with a friend in the books she read :)
Loved your spreads. This year my goal is to dnf more, and read whatever makes me happy 😊 I did up my reading goal this year by 50 to 150.
Yes to reading books that makes you happy!!🥰 Wow, 150! That’s awesome!🥰
Kindles are life changing!! 😂🥰

I really liked the second book! Not as much as the first one, but that ending was one of my favorite things I read all year 😂🤭
@@pa.o yes! When I say I nearly threw my book, I’m not joking! 😂
I hope you do a spread for the manga you showed. I also would love to know how many words or pages you read this year!

I loved the video 🥰 I finally was able to watch it while doing the laundry, thank you for accompanying me, so relaxing 😊
Omg the December cover was so cute
I love the vlog clips in this video 😍😍😍

Yes, since I’m working with 4-5 hours of raw footage, not every single thing can be included in the final video😌
Hi mochibujo😊
Hi Anne!
Oh my gosh, where did you get those earrings???
Oh, I'm so excited you noticed them! They're both from Hultquist Copenhagen, and they're called Cosmo Hoops and Fey Hoops!:)
Agree to disagree about the ending of house of sky and breath… like I said in the discord I hate it, and it sounds like my reason why I don’t like it is why you like it.
Ahahah yes, it does sound like that! I understand what you said about it, but yeah, agree to disagree haha!
@@mochibujo in general I really liked the book and voted for it in the goodreads choice awards iim just not a fan of the ending
