This was so deeply satisfying to watch!! And I LOVED the way the original title page looked!! I am tearing through the links, and can't seem to find the number stamps you used. The way they look, and the fact that they are portions of the year to mix and match is FANTASTIC!!
I just wanted to thank you for all the detail you shared, including the links, and for inspiring me! I just discovered reading journals and am fascinated , I’ve always been a huge reader and lately I had begun to think I needed to dive a little deeper with each book instead of reading and moving to the next without thinking too much about it. This is exactly what I need to help me do that and keep track. I wish I had at least kept a list of all I have read starting decades ago, but I can start now!
I also have a separate journal for ALL the books I've read! I went back in my goodreads history to 2011 and started there. I love how low-effort it is, and I can probably keep that journal forever.
I am obsessed with the title page!! I personally track my reading digitally so every year I vicariously live through these amazing videos of people setting up their journals
Oh thank you so much dear 🥰 Is your Digital journal all set up or did you put it together yourself? Because if you put it together yourself you can still use digital stamps to make your own title page 😁
@@MyLittleJournal I don't really have a journal I just write out my reviews in my notes app and let Storygraph do all the statistics😅 That is such a cute Idea though!!
This is awesome! Thank you for making a reading journal that was completely your own and that doesn't look the same as so many do in other videos. I've been down the rabbit hole of book journaling videos and they're filled with so many who need to announce what brand pens they're using, what their thematic color for the year or spread is, their choice of stickers and ephemera that get layered on so thick they have to remove pages in their journals to get it close properly... only to start another book for the new year even if they haven't filled one book! I liked that you kept your spread decoration simple and made it more about the books than the art. I started my own book journaling last year and I used some of the simplest spreads and trackers, but still looking for ideas on what to do. I still haven't filled my book and will probably still be using it for '25.
Thank you so much dear!! That truly means a lot to me 🥰 I totally agree with you. I’ve watch so many videos and they all start to look the same. It’s hard to find inspiration anymore because everybody is doing the same thing. There’s nothing wrong with that but if it’s not your style or what you’re looking for it starts to become very repetitive and boring.
This is so great thank you for sharing!!! I love how all the spreads turned out, especially those with stamps, i feel like i rarely see stamped bujo spreads come out looking so clean and beautiful!!
Love how this years journal turned out. I have been trying to decide what I want to carry over from last year and what I want to add. I need to decide soon the new year is coming fast!
Thank you so much dear 🥰 It’s always hard to decided what to keep and what to let go of but I’m excited for my new journal. I think it’s going to be a fun one 😁
Your Book Shelfie spreads are always so cute! I'm restarting doing book journals in 2024 (I did some YEARS ago, but it was when I just finished grad school and was reading one book at a time and the way I was doing it wasn't sustainable when I really started reading more and faster since I no longer had school - and I'm up to about 180 books a year, so it really wouldn't be sustainable my old way, lol). I do a little book tracking in my regular journaling - I'm primarily a digital tracker for numbers, etc. - so I think I'm going to do "reviews" by month as I finish books, kind of in a mix of collage (like Hedda at Mochibujo) and minimal (like Elizabeth at Plant Based Bride, I really like how she changes the size of her review "boxes" depending on what she wants to say, etc) in a series of NT Original Size notebooks (these are just a little bit too small for my daily journaling but I think will work for this) and then do what I did in 2023 which was put my reading challenges, etc. in a B5 (continuing in the same one I used in 2023) because I really liked having all the space to list my bingos and challenge prompts :)
I love watching you create. You were my inspiration for starting my own reading journal in 2022. I have enjoyed documenting the books I am reading so THANK YOU for that!!!!
I really like the separate journal you have where you keep track of all the books you've read over the years. Given your ongoing numbering system, how do you treat rereads? Do you list them multiple times, or only in the year you first read them?
I started a reading journal at one point, but abandoned it, although every day I wanted to get back to it. I plan to start a new one for 2024. I loved your Scribbles That Matter journal. Can you please tell me where the sticker came from that you have on the front of yours? That’s what drew me to it. I love your reading journal and am impressed that you find the time to read all those books!! Thanks for sharing the inspiration!!
Ya I totally get it. This year was tough for me to keep up with it. I blame it on the reading slump. Yes, I bought that from my talented friend Brie. Her shop is Documented Journey and she also has a youtube channel 😁 Her art is something else.
I love Brie at Documented Journey! I wanted one of her stickers for my cancer journal, and she was all out She had them reprinted and sent me one, along with a great postcard and note. Her art is really gorgeous ❤️
I am new to your channel and love how you track your books. You gave me inspiration to try this out. Can you explain how you do your book covers to stick on? The big and the small ones 😊
Welcome to my channel dear 🥰 I print my book covers on sticker paper. I do have a class available in my Etsy shop sharing how I print my book covers and how I put these spreads together ♥️
This year I made a lot of templates on Canva and printed them out on sticker paper, no boring task of drawing a million tables, lines and boxes anymore lol.
I have a separate journal for all goods read since 2020 too :D I also track there long-term challenges which I wanna do but I dont want to deal with the pressure to complete them all in one year :D
Beautiful journal! I’m getting so excited to start mine! I checked the description but I don’t think I saw it- where is the clear five stars stamp from? 🥰
Yay!! Enjoy putting your journal together 🥰 So that stamp is from an old Everyday Explorers stamp set. The thing is I don’t remember which one because I leave the five star stamp in a small bowl with all the other little stamps I use often.
Hi I have 2 questions! Can you tell me where to purchase your large book stamp that holds the book names and what sticker printer do you recommend for the books for your journal and is there a video that shows how to print them? Thank you!!❤
Hi dear, I have both the book stamp and printer I use linked in the discerption box. The stamp is from Studio Calico and the printer I use is the Epson PictureMate. I also do use the Canon Ivy. If you watch some of my older planner videos I share those printers.
Hi Heba! Just found (and joined your channel). I loved it. Question, I was looking for your cursive stamp that you used for Reading with Heba and also the retro-looking double box that you stamped with. I looked through your links and I couldn't find either. I don't know if you will read this but I really love your style!
Welcome to my channel 🥰 and I hope you find some inspiration in my space. Thank you ♥️ So the cursive letters are from Kerri Bradford. I’m not sure if they are sold out but she has other beautiful stamp sets to choose from. The retro stamp is from Close To My Heart. You have inspired me to step my reading list for 2024! Can you tell me the name of the Close To My Heart stamp set you used for your Good Reads page? Thanks!
Hi dear, I use something called the Absorber. I do have it linked in the discerption box. You just wet it and wipe your stamps with it. I also have a video on stamps and stamps I share it in that video as well.

Hi dear, do you know what size you’re looking for? If you message me on Instagram I can share links with you and help you find the right journal for you.
@@MyLittleJournal oh after clicking all your links I realized the b6 link goes right to the same book! It’s out of stock so I will get it when it gets restocked. Thank you for your help. How much budget do you put monthly for buying books and stickers ? I am confusing with the tons of stickers that I want to buy but unfortunately here in my country stickers are the same prices of books expensive widely.
I try not to buy books. We are fortunate to have library apps that let you read or listen to books for free. So a lot of the books I read are borrowed from the library. If I do buy books it’s usually from secondhand shops or they were gifted. As for stickers I usually buy them from Etsy and I wait until my favorite shop has a big sale. Usually on Black Friday 😁 You should definitely look on Etsy because they usually ship free when you purchase over a certain amount. I hope this helps ♥️
