i think an art history journal would be so interesting to watch!! you could even do like... mini lectures? if that makes sense? like talking about what you learned and we can watch you set up the journal while you talk about it? i think it would be really cool.
☕️ I really think you should do the art history journal whether it be for us viewer or yourself. What about a copper colour? I think that would match well with the craft paper.
I've been binge watching people's bujo setups for over a year now and this has to be my favorite one! 100% my aesthetic. I need to get my hands on some black paper inserts asap.
I definitely was inspired by you to get a black paged journal and I've never felt more creative! My darker themes fell flat on white backgrounds but I feel so fulfilled when I use the black pages!
I did a black journal this year and used POSCA pens as well as gelly rolls. Gelly roll moonlight has some muted colours that looks really good on black paper.
I chose to do my this year's journals in blackouts and so far I like it quite a lot. Art history recrash course sounds amazing, would definitely watch any videos regarding it.☕
Heck ya, a fellow blackout journal enthusiast! Also I love that you called it a "recrash course", happy to hear you'd be interested in those kinds of videos 🥰
I love the idea of having a journal for every thing I obsess over, ive never thought about doing a specific journal for my thousands of interests, so I would love to see an art history journal from you so I can steal ideas, I mean as inspiration 😊
I love black pages but my need for all the colours everywhere makes them impractical - when I had one I did use a silver gel pen quite a lot and colouring pencils turned out to show up better than pens for a lot of colours ☕
☕First video of yours I've seen and I'm definitely subscribing! I feel like I never find gothic content in the bujo genre on youtube, I can't wait to see what else you do with the black journal 🖤
I'm a Writech fan too!!! I LOOOOVE their sign brush pens. Also, I'm an avid reader. Well, as much as work/life lets me, hehehe. I thought a reading journal would be perfect for me too. Turns out that I cannot keep up with more than one bullet-type journal. A couple weeks ago, I found out that Clever Fox makes a reading journal. It's been an awesome find for me. It's flexible in that it's not dated but structured enough that it makes it easy to keep track of the books that I read and then what I thought of them. Anyway, just a suggestion. Thanks for a fun video. Oops. One last thing...I would be interested to see what an art history journal looks like as someone who enjoys art.
Sign brush pens?! I didn't know that was a thing...I must check them out 🤩 journals are definitely so personal, I'm happy you've found one that works for you! Thanks so much for watching 🤍
i LOVE posca pens for black paper. They have a minor learning curve but I almost never have to go over my work twice for coverage and I use mainly black paper. If nothing else, you can get the grey scale colors, and the brown, to match your theme
hi! i use a yearly trackers journal and i love it! i have a bunch of trackers including mood tracker, weather tracker, mental health tracker, period tracker, sleep, and energy. as well as a few other fun ones!
Here for my third watch since my Starry Night journal arrives tomorrow and I want to be sure I note the things I wanna try. My Gelly Roll pens are screaming with excitement lol.
@@savannahscribbles I love it so much that I don’t even know what to write in it lol. All I’ve done with it so far is use the pen swatch page to test my Gelly Roll pens 😂😂
I am currently setting up my b5 scribbles that matter starry night journal pages and found your video. Totally subscribing. Can't wait for more. I'm working on my budget pages before I set up my reading journal in the back.
I will be doing my first Bullet journal next year after years of seeing videos of them. Mainly i think for creatuve purpouse. So far yours is having the coolest vibe. 🖤 the darker side of my vibes.
Wow!! This is by far my favorite 2024 set up video! If I was bullet journaling you would have influenced me to do a black bujo. Obsessed with this set up! Love it so much.☕️☕️☕️
I LOVE THIS! I used a black journal last year and though it was challenging it was so enjoyable! It makes you stretch the corners of your creativity! I loved how much you used other shades of paper on it and how cool it looks! 🖤😎🖤
I'm also a slow reader with a reading journal! I ended up separating all of my reads by genre instead of month. so I can still be creative but I don't feel tied down to a year.
☕ I'm so intrigued by blackout journals, but am a bit scared of committing to a whole year with one! This set up is so beautiful though, I might be tempted for 2025. (I've already got both my 2024 journals). Love your style, I'm not generally one for more neutral set ups, but yours are always outstanding, maybe because they're more maximalist which I love. The gothic vibes are outstanding, cant wait to follow your set ups in 2024!
Awh thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the setup despite being something you're not normally drawn to. The black pages definitely take some adjusting to but I think its easier when your journaling style mixes well with them! Although I'd love to see a super colorful spread contrasted with the black - that'd probably look very cool! 🤍
Wow, lovw the colour palette and the theme so much! Beautiful set up and wonderful spreads. Well, I think the Acrylograph paint pens from Archer and Olive might work well and you should be able to find some colours that would be suitable for your colour palette I believe. ☕
Loved every single spread! Your gothic architecture theme is everything and I really think you should start an architecture art journal. Watching this video makes me want to use a black notebook again lol but I missed white pages 😂 ☕️☕️☕️☕️
This is such a lovely spread. You're giving all of the dark academia vibes. Frankly, you make me feel like doing an architectural themed one or even a journal for architecture itself. You should 100% go ahead and do the art history journal. Where'd you get the bigger stickers? The photograph looking ones?
Thanks so much! An architecture journal would be so cool ~ especially if you added in illustrations! The larger photos I got from Pinterest and then I just printed them out on sticker paper 🤍
☕️ I absolutely loooove this theme 😍 I had no idea there were fully black journals too I’m so intrigued by them, I think I might have to get one of the mixed journals that do Kraft, white and black so I can test it out!
Thank you so much! I think Archer & Olive might have that mixed paper journal, but i'm not too sure. That'd be a great way to test different pages for sure 🤍
I would also try a silver, and maybe other metallics color jelly roll pens. Do the Art History Journal for yourself! I love Art History and demanded that my husband and I go to Greece. We spent a month there, and it was worth every second of the trip. I really enjoyed your video, thank you.
damn, you made me able to watch ann almost hour long video. cant even finish 15 minute ones. all the best for you. you make amazing contents! time to subscribe and stalk 👀
If I may make a suggestion? I think if the themes from last year are bothering you because they don't match, I would frame it like a gallery wall. This allows the pictures to be different sizes and slightly different shapes, but makes it look intentional. Just a suggestion :D. I really like all the architectural elements in your journal! I've always been fascinated by architecture and think your use of the pillars and arches is fantastic.
Black is beautiful 🤤 ☕️
i think an art history journal would be so interesting to watch!! you could even do like... mini lectures? if that makes sense? like talking about what you learned and we can watch you set up the journal while you talk about it? i think it would be really cool.
Yes that's exactly what I was thinking! Happy to hear you'd be interested 🥰
☕️
I really think you should do the art history journal whether it be for us viewer or yourself.
What about a copper colour? I think that would match well with the craft paper.
an art history journal is definitely in the works 🤭oooo copper! love love that idea!
Wow... Black just seems so intimidating to me, but you made it look so easy to use 😊 OH, I did make it to the end ☕️
☕ this gothic setup is stunning
black paper. so surreal. ☕ And it’s all so magical. love the fonts you’ve chosen. looks so fancy
thanks so much! the black paper really does make it feel a little more fantastical 🌟
for the pens and theme, you can always stack on the metallic colors. silver, bronze and gold would do best. oh also metallic brown :) hope that helps!
I've been binge watching people's bujo setups for over a year now and this has to be my favorite one! 100% my aesthetic. I need to get my hands on some black paper inserts asap.
awww i love that, thank you so much 🤗🤍
The design on the 2024 spread is amazing. Auto like right there.
I definitely was inspired by you to get a black paged journal and I've never felt more creative! My darker themes fell flat on white backgrounds but I feel so fulfilled when I use the black pages!
Aww I'm happy to hear it!! I've felt the same way about the black paper, not sure if I can go back to using the usual white 😂
An art history journal would be amazing! I’d love to see it!
I love the black journal pages! An art history journal is such a cool idea. Would love to see that if you decide to share!
☕️
Thank you so much, definitely gonna start working on one! 🤍
An art history journal sounds awesome!
I’m always overwhelmed by color when making bullet journals but this was STUNNING and so inspiring
Thank you so much! I feel that way about color too sometimes, glad you enjoyed 🤍
I did a black journal this year and used POSCA pens as well as gelly rolls. Gelly roll moonlight has some muted colours that looks really good on black paper.
oh true poscas would work really well! and i'll definitely check out the moonlight colors, thanks so much 🥰
Love the aesthetic of the spreads. I definitely think you should do the art journal.
🤩☕ Very interesting! I think I‘ll try a black journal next time 👌
I don’t know if you’ll see this but the Gelly Roll Moonlights in 417, 412, 415, 440 and 444 would probably suit you very well. Also maybe 422
☕ watched this while drawing out my own bullet journal and it was worth it. Stunning
Aw thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed 🥰
I don’t know why but I found this really relaxing to watch. 😀 I really wish I was this creative! 👍👍
haha glad you enjoyed it!! 🤗

thank you so much!! 🥰
☕ These layouts are stunning 😍 I was apprehensive about using a dark paper for bullet journaling but this looks amazing!
thank you 🥰I was too when I first used one in 2020, but i'm so happy I did!
This was insanely satisfying. Your collaging is so gorgeous!!
Thanks so much! 🥰
Yes art history journal!!!!!!
That's such an interesting setup, I love how the white doodles pop out of the page!
☕ I just bought a black sketchbook for my 2024-25 journal, you inspired me so much. And the gothic aesthetic is so me.
Oh how exciting!! Glad I can provide some inspo for you 🖤

I would love to see an art history journal!
I saw the thumbnail for the video and jumped straight to watch it! Totally my vibe!
hehe welcome in 🤎
I love black pages but my need for all the colours everywhere makes them impractical - when I had one I did use a silver gel pen quite a lot and colouring pencils turned out to show up better than pens for a lot of colours ☕
A silver pen definitely sounds like a great idea! Is there one you’d recommend?
I'd love to see an art history journal especially as a comparison with your old notes ❤
Art history journal video would be awesome!!

Archer & Olive gel pens and acrylic pens work well with black paper. I created a black Bujo using them along with the gellyroll pens! ❤

I love your spreads so much! So inspiring. I admit. I'm too scared to use a black page bullet journal. ☕

I LOVE THIS! The theme for my moon journal is a Gothic theme.
