- There's no combination of pedal I like more to date than a Tube Screamer and Klon Combination. These two clones do an AMAZING job of this. I would be very surprised if there's any difference in tone between these two and the real pedals.
The Demon Tube Screamer has both the TS9 and TS808 modes thanks to a switch at the top making it extremely versatile. The Klon Clone sounds fantastic with the Demon Tube Screamer and I was asked to put this video together to show how well they stack together.

Great demo, Shane! I combine the Klon clone with my Keeley 1962 and get similarly great results. The Klon Clone is superb alone or stacked.
I have the Demon stacked with a Tumnus Deluxe. I totally agree those two circuits work great together. They work on clean channel and dirt just as well. Magic in 2 boxes together.
The Klon is going into the Demon. It says it at the start with a text overlay. :-)
try it the other way around, just using the ts with all output, no gain then set the klon to preference, it's amazing

I have been putting JHS Bonsai on TS10 setting medium gain into a Wampler Tumbys Deluxe low gain. Use a P90 PUP into that and the. End of signal chain is a Strymon Flint into a clean Fender Hot Rod. I think the TS before the Tumnus sounds unreal. Especially with single coils.
oooooh yea!!! THIS IS IT!...I plan on a TS mini and Tumnus with my Dirty Little Secret and Carbon copy...I dont think there would be any better of a board..
This is what I'm planning to do with the clones then stack it with an ehx big muff nano. Hopefully I can get close to J Mascis sound.
Can you advise me how to line up the pedals? CP-18 , CP-19 , JOYO ULTIMATE DRIVE , CLONE CENTAUR , BOSS FDR-1 and , may be I'll add DEMON TUBE SCREAMER in the line. Because I'm appriciated your demo, this clip. Thank you so much.
Are you going Klon first into tubescreamer or 808 to shape sound first and boost with clone ?

This was great & is a setup I'm wanting to explore. Did you have the tube screamer driving the klon though, or the other way around?
Right now, rig 1 is a Pure Sky into a TS into a Crate V1512 and it cranks! Rig 2 is a Sweet Baby into a Vick Audio Tree of Life into a Traynor YCV 40 and it really is way too loud for bedroom playing. Rig 1 is almost too loud. Stacked ODs is the way to go and the Klon clone sounds killer! You should check of the Vick if you haven't already. Probably close to the Plimsoul.

I bought a plumes to replace my demon screamer like you use and I put the screamer back on the board. Looking to trade the plumes now I guess.
So for rhythm use the Klon first then feed that into the Tube Screamer for leads?
Hi, I have something similar to TS and now thinking about klon copy. But I dont have a tube amp and I wonder if I can use klon to get closer to that tube breakup sound on my clean channel (Peavey Bandit Redstripe).

I just bought a golden short-tail clone on Geek/Wish for FORTY DOLLARS. I can't find any information on who made it though, except that the chassis is the same as on yours. No bevels, less wide, same dimensions except mine doesn't say "Centaur" on it. When it gets here I'll take it apart, but I'm not sure that will tell me much. It says it's all the right parts inside, so we'll see. I just can't believe there's no information whose clone it is, not even a name on the bottom. What's my question? Um, idk just saying. Forty bucks.

Ismael yes you can. If youhave a delay pedal put that last and then reverb pedal. If no delay pedal put reverb last
Great video. To my ears, it sounds like the Klon just slightly compresses and "fattens" up the sound, in an awesome way. Love it!

Ok so I got the Demon but I cannot find the Clone Central Centaur anywhere. I did find a decent Klone on Reverb but it's kinda pricey. So I am thinking Soul Food?
There are a lot of gold Klones on Ebay for under $80 but I presume they are all garbage.
Found one! Last one out there as far as I can tell. Got it for a little over $115AU

It's on Ebay for $59.80, direct from China, from a seller called Janetfan2012. I've gotten two from that seller. It's the one that says Centaur on it, between the switch and the horse graphic, and has the in and out jacks on the right and left side, and the knobs closer to the top edge and a very small LED under the gain control. I've also had the other gold one, which doesn't say Centaur on it, has a larger LED, has the in and out on the top instead of the sides, and has the knobs further from the top edge. It's a good pedal too, a bit brighter sounding, with less of a mid boost. Search Klon clone on Ebay and you'll find them both.
for a nanosecond no not really I heard it reads that demon settings on the screen, but the Shane had to put xxx distortion on...!!!, I axed a friend about F Blues Deluxe n the answer was: issues, dont buy one

intheblues - Gotcha. I was pressed play and went on cooking and was just listening.. My bad! I run my TS into a klone but they sound good either direction.
