I wish I had seen this video as soon as my baby was born.. it's the information I needed and didn't get. Now baby is 5-6 weeks and I'm playing catchup, and not sure if I'll ever be able to do even one full feed fully on the breast as I'm not able to pump enough and her needs just keep increasing. I'm combining bottle feeding (70% formula, 30% expressed breast milk) and comfort nursing.
Just had my twins at 35 weeks vis Cesarean yesterday, and have been so upset about not being able to pump any milk. I was so sure I wanted to exclusively breast-feeding, this video made me reakize everything is okay. Thank you so much
I’m a FTM with a scheduled induction at 34 weeks coming up very soon. I have been so worried about this as we get close to his arrival and time in the NICU. Thank you for this information.
Thank you for this video, I have a 9 day baby born at 26 weeks and have felt so discouraged by only getting about 275 mls a day. This video helped me keep hope, that it will come!
Thank you. I really needed this video after day 4 of having my baby. I'm still lost to everything but I've been trying to research myself and this really opened my eyes.
Thank you for this video I been looking for information my baby was born at 30 weeks due to preclampsia and his almost a week in the nicu I have been pumping every 3 hours and its a little different for me now I will be switching every 2 hours for pumping hospital did send me home with there breast pump. Thank you for the information

Hi i am nicu mom - baby born at 26 weeks - now 33 weeks- earlier i had good milk supply - but now mg supply is reducing daily - i am able to pump only 15 ml per session combined - someone help plz
This is really helpful info id love to know more info on how to reduce the amount of milk supply my babys been in nicu for a of couple weeks he is developing his suck swallow breath… but iv got a huge amount of milk im pumping as required i follow all instructions to ensure hes getting healthier and all but he cannot feed hes choaking no matter my position or his… just want my baby home but cannot do that until hes feeding properly consistently and without him using all energy to regain his breath… thinking of bottle feeding now to reduce the risk of choaking. Hes on the pacifier perfectly fine while gravity feeding… hope for some insight (its limited) thankyou
@@fatallasmr8030 How premature was baby born? And how old is baby now? It’s not a great idea to reduce your supply at this early point. But if baby is struggling with the flow being too fast on your breast, pumping some milk (not a full pump session) before he nurses can help.
6 days ago i had 25 week 3 day old micro preemie twin boys. They were airlifted 3.5 hours away.
