Love you guys and the content and have felt like part of the family since episode 1! Being a part of the forum for so many years! Thank you for allowing all of us on your journey and allowing everyone into the fam
Anyone claiming they know the REAL STORY of MCM is telling lies I reckon-- oh wait, I'm on the proper MCM channel. High five for 15 years! P.S iMovie was/is great editing software to learn on.
Not going to lie I found a bike shop I thought was called mcm so I googled it and I found this channel that was 8 years ago now, not missed a single episode
This is strangely one of the best episodes, really shows how much emotion, passion and care you put into everything you are doing! It really puts a new sense of emotion behind every episode! And congrats on 15 years!
Couldn’t agree more, what a fantastic channel that has kept us entertained for years. Completely original and just so down to earth. These guys have absolutely smashed it, thank you so much for the years of entertainment.
I genuinely can’t articulate the level of admiration and respect I have for both of the guys. They’ve put out a lifetimes worth of work in just 15 years, they must work 60 hours a week just to do everything, as well as have personal lives, wife’s, girlfriends, family, friends, holidays, fankings & just other off camera stuff. Its also the multi-discipline of skill sets that is absolutely unreal. It’s inspirational when I can’t even make the time to go to the gym for 4 hours a week. Absolute kings 👑
@@fluffyflextail haha no I setup my UA-cam account when I was watching breaking bad wayyy back in the day when it wasn’t normal to have your real name on the internet anywhere. I just never changed it
Wildest thing is that in a 31 minute video all about the history and stories and methods of making MCM episodes, you guys didn't even mention the incredible amount of charity work you have done over the years. Potentially your biggest achievement and you're both too humble to call it out!
MCM is without a doubt some of the best content on UA-cam. The fact that you guys do every bit of the work to produce everything makes it that much more special and honestly explains why it's so consistently great.
I am COMPLETELY amazed that not only you two have been doing this for 15 years, but are still really enjoying being best mates. Please keep it going for another 15. Love you guys!
So cool to see the progression over time guys - MCM still the GOATS in our mind and the attention to detail and staying true to who you guys are and what you wanted the channel to be is a prime example of UA-cam Excellence.
Well said regarding progression. It's insane how well suited these guys are for film and production, let alone the actual car content. My first watch was nearly 12 years ago and I never in a million years thought that two mates in mums driveway would grow to be such experts in this field. Truly inspirational!
These two are two of the very few genuine creators out there. I'm glad I found them early and will continue to support them so that more people can be awed.
It really blows me away how talented you guys are! Not just what you pull off with your car projects, but actually shooting the videos, editing them, making the music, etc. It's incredible! Hands down, i think you must be the most talented people on UA-cam! Congrats on 15 years and i hope you can keep it going for many more!
Right, they are clearly still best mates just like 15 years ago. Nothing is fading away they are both helping each other live their dreams. Friends like that are so rare.
Honestly dudes, thank you for the last 15 years. It’s been so fun seeing the show grow and evolve over the years. Thank you for all the content, inspiration and education.
I watched a few other car channels but what made MCM stand out was the sheer effort they put into their videos. Always a production quality video with what they had and the back and forth between Marty and Moog. Every other channel was just some dude on his own fumbling about with one hand in amongst an engine, whilst holding the camera with the other hand and apologising every 10 seconds for the poor shot of what he's doing 😂 You guys still do the best videos on BMW's though 👀
I think a lot of us really needed to see this to really appreciate what you guys have to do and have gone through to bring us these videos we love. My appreciation for you both and this show has just grown. Can't thank you enough.
To see the truth of what it’s like behind the scenes only makes every episode just that much better. The blood, sweat and tears shows and you guys are absolutely killing it. Marty and Moog, you guys are an inspiration🥰
Just completely bewildering the amount of talent these two have. Been watching for about a decade now and will support for as long as this channel exists.
Mighty Car Mods is an automotive ICON on youtube. And rightfully so, your commitment and efforts to produce top quality videos and content does not go unnoticed. You guys deserve every bit of fame / succes / money that comes your way. Thank you so much for years of top notch entertainment and inspiration!
As an IT professional, gear head, and recording musician I can relate to every aspect of this video. The quality of your productions is second to none, and I've learned and enjoyed so much throughout the years, and look forward to what's in store. You guys are awesome.
This may be my favourite video from you guys yet. As a Sydney based musician, music producer, and car lover, this ticks literally every single box! Again and again you guys not only supply us with endless entertainment, but also inspiration for us all to pursue our own automotive endeavours, creative goals, and most importantly, motivation to nurture friendships with our best mates. Here's to another 15 years, Long live MCM!
I can’t believe how many years I’ve been watching you. It’s really great to see the passion and friendship still intact after all these years, thanks for the content
I can't believe they do pretty much all of it themselves. Most "youtube empires" eventually dive into the brand and corporate side of things - get editors, producers, content directors and all sorts
There is a genuine feeling of honesty and love that radiates from each and every one of your episodes. Every time I sit down and listen to you guys, I imagine talking to my older brother and his mates. Your attitude and sense of humor screams early 1980's and I love it. You are realistic and see things for what they are, while also having and immense sense of curiosity and wonder for the world and what it offers. Thank you very much for being indirectly part of my life, I appreciate you guys so much for everything you do.
This might be one of your best ever videos. It just shows how impressive you both are as people and how talented. Fair play, well done and well deserved!
I could happily sit and watch several more hours of origins/BTS content from these two masters of the craft. The passion really shows in everything they do. So thankful to have experienced 15 years of MCM, many more to come!
I am an old man (55+) from Canada worked in the automotive field for my entire working life. When I came across your channel, it was different and unique. There are so many memories and events that never got recorded in my life, but some were, and what a feeling to be able to look at old footage (vhs video or reel to reel tape on the real old stuff). I am so glad to see that you have kept all the old footage and how you have progressed in your work and life. All the best for the future.
As a musician myself, I appreciate and respect your approach to crafting a cohesive soundscape so much! The attention to detail and stuff you do behind the scenes to create the final version of an episode is quite astounding. Also your studio looks like a freaking dream, it's awesome.
I think we can all remember the first MCM video we ever saw - for me it was "POD Filters Mythbusted" 😁 Congratulations on the anniversary and thank you for all of the content you have provided to us free of charge over the years. You have both had an incredible impact on car enthusiasts around the country (and the world!). Here's to the next 15!
You guys are an insperation and i hope that you can "influence" some of the younger people out there to be as clean and wholesome as you guys are. Your banter and way you work together is truly wonderful and so great to see that you have been together working for MCM for so long. YOu keep an Englishman who live in Vietnam sane. Congratulations Moog and Marty. Keep up the excellent work.
This is the reason why i've continued to stay and watch all these years. It was never about the money for you guys, it's about the entertainment for the viewers that you guys genuinely enjoy doing for us, and the memories you and your mates make. Thanks Marty, thanks Moog, we appreciate your guys' transparency and hard work!
It's really clear that you both have a huge personal investment in your content. It's a passion rather than a job. The fact that all the music has always been made from scratch for the series, you edit it yourselves and you are proud of what you produce speaks volumes. Thanks for all the good times and laughs over the years!
Congrats on 15 years. The commitment you have made to producing such high quality content is why you’ve lasted so long. I also like how you have carried the DIY into your recording studio and it shows how multi-talented you both are.
Incredible! MCM is all encompassing. The skill, creativity, passion and the DIY mentality you both have across so many different aspects is amazing. From music, film making, computer / server tinkering, spannering on car and motorbikes and even the odd carpentary project thrown in is remarkable. This is the MCM universe and we are all here for it. An amazing milestone and one we are all super happy for you both to have achieved. Heres to many more nuggets and years on the tube!
I’ve been watching you guys for the last 10 years and just want to congratulate you two for what you have created. My teenage years were full of laughter, learning and looking up to you guys, and I now carry a “have a crack” approach that I’ve adopted from viewing yourselves on the interballs. I thank you for teaching me so much base knowledge to give me the confidence to take on an apprenticeship which am now into my final year. Here’s to another 15 years!
Okay. This is freaking epic. You guys not only have serious talent with what you do, but also some very serious skills on top of that. Building your own stuff, tossing in references to the things you love in your workspace. I'm in complete and utter awe at this. Thank you for sharing this. So glad I stumbled onto you guys years ago.
Beautiful studio space. One of the biggest reasons I love the channel so much is the attention to detail, the level of love put into everything. Including the music. Literal chills at 21:10, love those songs so damn much. Can't wait to see what you guys will do next!
I didn't think I could love you guys any more, but seeing the amount of work you put into the entire process to make it as excellent and personal as it is has taken my appreciation to another level. An MCM notification is always a joyous thing to receive.
Just when I think you guys couldn't be any more awesome, you go and prove me wrong! It really shows that you enjoy doing what you do. Pretty much every single episode of MCM makes me smile for one reason or another. Even as the production value just keeps going up, and I love that you still do most of the work yourselves. Thank you for this BTS episode. It fills in some gaps and explains how you keep unleashing awesomeness regularly on UA-cam. I had noticed the music from the first few episodes that I had seen. However, I had never noticed the audio. That means that you did a stellar job. As you mentioned, so many UA-camrs treat audio as an afterthought. As someone who loves music and HiFi, I often wonder if some content creators even listen to what they release. It’s just another testament to your dedication and how much you value quality. I haven’t been watching from the start; I learned about you from the collab episode you did with Roadkill. I’ve been following ever since. From a guy owning a 10 year old rusty Impreza (Yeah, Canada, we trow salt and gravel on our roads for half the year), I sincerely wish to congratulate you for all the efforts you have made over the last 15 years and I’m certain there will be lots more to come!
With audio, it depends on the creator and the content they create. Sometimes just average audio is absolutely fine, but obviously from Moog and Marty's backgrounds it's going to be something they want to get as spot on as they can. For content I do (as with all other motovloggers), it's a constant battle to improve audio because it's recorded in a very tight space (Helmet), especial as over time we change helmets, cameras, and mics, each change can really effect the quality.
The amount of work that clearly goes into each episode is nearly as much as the amount of talent you guys both have, as well as the talent pool of all the artists you collaborate with. Thanks so much for showing how all this content comes together, the amount of work that goes into it and the journey that we have all been privileged to witness. Cheers guys!
22:14 I remember being impressed that you guys had taken the time to construct translations that made sense both musically and linguistically. As a musician (vocalist-tenor, trumpet) and linguist myself (English, Spanish, Japanese), I know how difficult it can be to sing in and construct lyrical phrases that truly sound natural. Having native speaker feedback really is incredibly important. I SUPER appreciate this episode. Thank you for the many years of hard work and creativity!!!
Congratulations on an amazing 15 years. The musical composer and engineering backgrounds make this channel what we ALL love. The love for the car projects shines thru with amazing production quality and a uniqueness thats pure MCM. The driveway DIY spirit still holds strong.
Absolutely blown away by the amount of work and heart you pour into post production. Somehow I've known it because of the original songs, etc, but it seems that I did not know anything. Hats off and a massive thank you for you guys for doing your thing and keeping us entertained. In some weird way this has been one of the top MCM episodes. Maintaining friendship is not to take for granted so kudos for that as well. Keep up the good work, I'll be watching for the coming 10 years as well. ❤
It's the drive (pun intended) to be the absolute best-in-class of what you guys put out that makes MCM. You're both such lovely guys, true mates and won't settle unless you're doing absolutely everything, from start to finish, to the best of your abilities. Thank you so much for the work you do and the content you produce. It really does help people when the world around can be such a struggle at the moment. Sometimes just a new video or the embarkment on a new series is enough for people to forget their worries for an hour or two and just enjoy watching what we're all here for. Big love from the UK!
The fact that you guys went from making videos in your driveway with handmade equipment from parts at the local hardware store to making some of the highest quality car enthusiast content is absolutely incredible. Keep it up guys! There's no one else like y'all out there :) Me and my best friend look up to you immensely and see you as role models 💜
You guys are honestly supremely talented & have the most amazing work ethic. Quite a lot of people would work hard to get to where you are then delegate most of the work off that they no longer fancied. Not saying that's wrong but the fact you are still so involved in some of the more "boring" aspects is honestly such a breath of fresh air. You deserve everything you've achieved and 10x more - keep up the great work
Love to see the story behind the people, been watching you guys for almost a decade now and enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks for everything youve given us so far :)
You guys are seriously my biggest inspiration. I wear my MCM hat and hoodie every day into work. I run a video production studio for a university in Mexico and I hope one day I can be on the path to creating a show as cool as Mighty Car Mods.
Thanks for a look into the behind the scenes of MCM. You can really see the emotion and how proud you guys are talking about what and how you have created what you have. Absolute legends!.
Remember the days you modded your moms car. the engine swap or when you added a ipad to the interior. Been here silently (have even bought merch) for around 12 years. You two are the best, keep it up!
I've been watching for about 14 years and this has to be one of the best videos yet. As a musician, a car person, and an engineer (Network), I totally relate to the ethos. Great stuff, boys.
I actually got really emotional watching this, especially when Moog mentioned to the tribute to his dad in the studio. You guys are incredible, please keep doing what you're doing!
Thank you guys for your dedication, the true love you have for creating thoses video does not go unnoticed and is truly apreciated. You really are on another level of production and quality !
Crazy to think MCM was one of the first channels I ever found on youtube at 12 years old, am now sitting here at 25, still watching, about to finish my Diploma in Audio Engineering, and driving around in a mad nugget, modified with the skills I learned here... wow! Thank you so much lads, for all the years of laughter, intrigue, inspiration, and just genuine good vibes!
As an audio engineer I loved getting to see your studio space. I love that you still make the music yourself. It would be easy as you got big to outsource but it shows your passion.
This is absolutely NUTS and insanely beautiful mates!! You two have got to be one of the coolest, most inspiring dudes on the net. This video makes me so happy Would love to feature on a MCM track in the future haha All the best, Happy New Years. ☆
Congrats on 15 years, and thanks for a fascinating look behind the scenes! My wife jokes that you guys are my internet friends…. Maybe it’s a bit of a one-sided relationship, but I always look forward to “hanging out” with you guys once a week, seeing what shenanigans you’ve gotten up to, and being inspired by your friendship, relentless creativity, and awesome builds! Thank you!
It's crazy to see how deep it goes, how much involvement you guys have in this project, custom designed space for hanging out and recording, lots of DIY stuff that we don't even see on the show... Very impressive...
I had open heart surgery in the last 4 weeks, and the only thing I watched in hospital was MCM. You guys and your content have been a massive part in not only my recovery, but also getting back behind the wheel. Watching you guys has inspired me to go out, modify and drive my car again. I cannot thank you 2 enough. Much love from NZ❤️❤️
MCM really is a special channel! You feel the love, passion and friendship in every episode. The bond you guys have is special and I hope and pray nothing severs it! Wishing you both all the success in the world so you can continue doing what you both love together. That being said nothing lasts forever, so thank you for all the content, the laughter and the feels. ❤
The dedication required to keep going for 15 years is genuinely inspiring. Pushing yourselves and the equipment you had to the limits, then learning the new skills needed to reach that next level is just incredible. Then to be able to keep bringing that same energy 15 years later? It takes a special kind of person to be able to do that. My hat's off to you both. I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us next.
Thanks! I had no Idea how much we had in common. Roland VS400 and Mackie 48-6. (and I make my own videos for "training" at work, too.) Editing sucks, but you guys make it look so good!
This has to be one of my favourite videos you’ve done. A honest look behind the scenes that highlights just how much work goes into your content and more importantly, the fact you do 99.9% yourself! Massive kudos to you both (and your fellow musicians). Love you guys and look forward to this years content!
Blows my mind how dedicated these guys are to their craft. I can't believe it's been 15 years. I still remember watching them do an engine swap on marty's mums driveway. Hats off to you, Marty and Moog. Thanks for all the great entertainment. Yours is hands down my favourite channel on UA-cam.
Thank you for being a friend to so many of us over the last decade and a half! You guys have truly made an impact on my life, and countless others, that just can't be quantified! From the bottom of my heart, thank you, it means more than you'll ever know.
You 'blokes' have given me so many hours and hours and hours of happiness over the years, I can't say thank you enough. Your music is amazing, the work you do to cars is super inspiring, and the video's have always been a pleasure to watch. Seeing how you put everything together with such humble beginnings like this is a great reminder that not everything has to be big, shiny and expensive to get the best product possible. Keep on keepin' on boys, it's been a great ride so far!
Because you do it for the love of it and not just to hit numbers, it shows in the content. MCM is the ONLY channel that I watch each and every episode from beginning to end. It is so relatable and genuine. KEEP DOING YOU!! Thank you for the effort that you put into the production side of it, it isn't just a youtube channel, it is a proper show, the best by far!
This is insane. Like actually insane. The production value is so far above anything else. You guys deserve every subscriber, and wish you nothing but continued success for many many years. Absolute legends!
You guys have been with me through a recession, a year in the oilfields of North Dakota, a divorce.... just life. You're always there and I have always appreciated it. Thank you!
Can I just say every time ye reveal more of the amount of work you guys do.....I just get more and more impressed with how insanely talented you two are. Every last drop of success ye have has been earned. Hats off!
i thought yall made some of the most entertaining, quality, easy to watch shows before and now i know why. Yall are so passionate about everything yall do and dont slack on making sure each part is well made and thought out. It makes such a difference when there is emotional moving music that fits perfectly with what we are seeing, it brings the whole experience together and we all appreciate and love yall!
I cant believe how long you guys have been around, I started watching around episode 10 and have looked forward to every episode. Congratulations guys.
Simply put, you two have created magic and it shows in this episode and every episode you both have created since. Here's to many more years sharing your passion with the world 🙌
Been watching for the last 12 years and it's been amazing to see you guys progress in your own technical abilities, on top of seeing your producing abilites skyrocket, it's been a mad ride lads, congratulations and heres to many more mad videos!
Thank you guys for making this video! I love the BTS stuff and seeing how creative you guys are for each video is so awesome! Peace and love from the states!
Thanks for all the entertainment throughout the years. The effort and quality you put into it while remaining authentic and true to your roots is amazing.
I've been watching your channel for about 10 years now and I've always known that you guys did everything yourselves but its a trip to see how much you guys actually put into the show. Never imagined it was to that level. Thats some serious dedication and I've a newfound respect for you guys. Moog your music is TOPNOTCH and always on fitting to every video. Marty your editing skills are second to none man. Ultimate Duo! Cheers to 15 years and many more!
I started watching y’all in 2010 and you showed how fun working on cars could be. Turbos and temples showed it could leave to amazing adventures. I can’t believe how many friends I made and experiences I got to have. Thanks for the inspiration!
My oldest son and I have always bonded through cars and car shows. I honestly thank you guys for giving us that and for being a big inspiration to follow his passion and learn photography. Right after Turbos and Temples III he went to Tokyo on his first international trip to photograph the Tokyo Auto Salon. He told me it was like he was living his dream, a dream inspired by you guys. Can't thank you enough. Keep it going !!!
Have been feeling low for a while, little direction in life and have had a shite day however you both have drastically improved my evening catching the rest of this video. Please don't stop doing what you do. I'm very envious of what you both have achieved however I couldn't wish it more for two people. Thank you, best wishes for the future
Every video you guys have done is out of the park a hit. This one. No different. Thanks for sharing this inside look and making your viewers even more a part of the experience. Mad props for your hard work and dedication to making this the best 4WD Off Roading YT channel out there!
It's absolutely amazing to see the sheer amount of work and utter dedication that goes into making the videos - I was blown away by the effort that it took to re-record Bullet in Japanese, simply to make Turbos and Temples III more authentic. Kudos to the both of you, you deserve every ounce (gram, kilogram!) of success you get.
It's funny that Moog is a metalhead, because I used to be into rock bands before I started producing. And Moog was actually one of my very early inspirations for producing electronic music! He's still one of my top 5 producers.
Such talented lads! Creative, driven, and clever at so much. As a small you tuber it takes so much work to do simple vids. This episode helps show those not in the know the insane work that goes into each and every episode. Appreciate what you have created and the energy that goes into every aspect of your empire!
A true piece of artwork in the production of each of your episodes. I'm certain that this will be viewed as such in the years to come. Thank you for all that you put into each, it has always shown true to the artistic spirit you both share.
I can't believe it's been 15 years already. I was 12 years old when the first video aired and now I'm 27. I never really seen you two as a youtuber or influencer. UA-camrs and influencers always seem to remind me of a person trying to make money as the main goal. You two do this over a pure love for the hobby. You also had extra hobbies as well. Thanks for 15 years and on.

So the server is a hackintosh? Sweet! My hackintosh isn’t that powerful, just a dell 3060 and it does the job well enough, but sits idle often.
It's hard to believe I've been watching you two for 15 years. I do sort of miss the driveway and the random stuff that would happen.

Another Aussie legend! Love it!

Exactly! It's truly rare have a friendship like Marty & Moog have for all these years.

It’s been so fun seeing the show grow and evolve over the years.
Thank you for all the content, inspiration and education.
i actually had to look up when they started releasing videos, were old afff now huh??😂😂😂
@@b5Bart i remember when they had the xt forester and I was like dayum I wish I had a nice new Subaru like that 🤣 pretty sure it was a 2008 model
Congrats to 15 years! You guys were the first and only car channel we watched way back then! Amazing to see the awesome progression!
I watched a few other car channels but what made MCM stand out was the sheer effort they put into their videos. Always a production quality video with what they had and the back and forth between Marty and Moog.
Every other channel was just some dude on his own fumbling about with one hand in amongst an engine, whilst holding the camera with the other hand and apologising every 10 seconds for the poor shot of what he's doing 😂
You guys still do the best videos on BMW's though 👀
Every time I hear Erin sing, I get goosebumps and my eyes begin to tear. She is beyond a true natural talent. She's pure emotion and soul.
Amazing! Unfortunately we are out of cookies though.
I think we can all remember the first MCM video we ever saw - for me it was "POD Filters Mythbusted" 😁
Congratulations on the anniversary and thank you for all of the content you have provided to us free of charge over the years. You have both had an incredible impact on car enthusiasts around the country (and the world!). Here's to the next 15!
I want to see Ipswich lappers with MCM! mullet wigs and all
same
This is incredible, with so many UA-camrs nowadays that hand off their editing to other people, you guys can do it all. Amazing!
Yes! Legend!
Underrated comment.
Chills all throughout the video
The most deserving UA-cam channel going. I'm amazed by the effort you guys have been putting in all these years. Incredible 💙
Man you guys remain the definition of authenticity and effort. I love the studio space and that you both have control rooms that's such a cool thing.
I didn't think I could love you guys any more, but seeing the amount of work you put into the entire process to make it as excellent and personal as it is has taken my appreciation to another level. An MCM notification is always a joyous thing to receive.
Amen
As a musician & audio engineer. So happy you guys finally made this! Mad respect
Loved Seeing The Behind The scenes Footage, Most Wicked.. Thank You
Just when I think you guys couldn't be any more awesome, you go and prove me wrong!
Couldn’t have put it better! Love from UK aswell 🤘🏼
A rare example of a truly organic relationship built into an enterprise, and you guys are still mates (or friends, as we yanks say). Well done.
This video makes me so happy
Would love to feature on a MCM track in the future haha
All the best, Happy New Years. ☆
Happy birthdaversary 🎉
As a fellow synth nerd, Its so good to finally see Moog properly geek out over the gear. Been watching you lot for years! Big love from the UK
No wonder the audio and tracks are always so on point… my dudes, this is INSANE amounts of work 😮
You are two of the most talented legends! And the fact you are still both mates is such a testament. Never change lads
The work you guys put into MCM and life is insane. Marty and Moog for Australian(s) of the year.
The behind the scenes on this is so much more involved than I imagine, its amazing that you blokes put this together.
Your success reflects the effort and passion you have put in to every aspect of the show. Great job guys
