This post brought me back to discovering MCM putting a chrome exhaust tip on Micra. I was in high school at the time, nearly thirty now. It's great to see that the boys STILL haven't lost the magic and I'm happy that they made a living from MCM.

@@Blitz6804 Folks have been popping cherries in their cars for decades, and at least for a while afterward, they enjoy the smell. After having it around a bit, though, you end up wanting something fresh. If you've used up the cherry, you could always go for some melons.

If I can raise a technical question, what is the difference between a dak-dak and a whizzer?!
A dak dak is a rattle gun aka impact wrench/gun.
Now... a whizzer can mean several different things depending on the context, in can mean an electric drill, orbital sander, electric ratchet/screwdriver. Honestly "whizzer" is universal to anything electric and goes whizzzz.

Harbor Freight in the states sells that exact jack, down to the detail, along with a whole range of other sizes in aluminum. They call it a racing jack

Both my wife and myself agreed that a stiffer front bar was not the way to go (yep suffered thru replacing that bar twice). You are going to have understeer for days. Get some properly setup (increase spring rate appropriately front and rear) coilovers with good shocks instead.
Increasing front bar stiffness only removes grip from the front. Which means you need lots of throttle to get the car to rotate.

Autozone in the US sold the same low profile aluminum jack. There was no second production run because the return rate was nearly 50%. it is very under rated for it's appearance causing consumers to use it on full size trucks often breaking the jack on the first use. Autozone just finished clearancing these off the shelf.

could you do a programme on importing what you can import in each state not exacts but like a gerarl list of what year you can get like the old JDM cars are getting mega expensive and now also there is amazing deals all comes in stock but you buy a well built well modded car and they take mods off and send them to you separately so you could get also those ryobi blower vacs work awsome for installing on the car 4 of them pushing a nice amount of air into the intack and looks cool as well

You can still buy that exact jack just anodised red
They ALSO sell the big boy steel jack and it's longer and lower than the alloy one, you got it backwards. the only issue with the steel one is it's bloody heavy and unwieldy
But yeah you can still buy that exact jack you're using at Australian Costco, there's tons in stock in QLD right now

Costco doesn't always keep products in stock
They only by in bulk so sometimes they run low or even completely run out before restocking which is probably why you saw none for sale for sale for a while

My BRZ had a tune and no headers, but I never dynoed it, so I can’t answer the power question. It did improve drivability and it felt like the torque dip wasn’t as bad, but I have no hard data on that.

What is the socket brand you mentioned?
Talking about pure/original: In germany there is tuning allowed for "oldtimer" registered cars,
if it fits the time / was available to do back then. (And of course safety, brakes, better shocks, wipers...)
... It is somehow strange to think about the oldtimer-reggo for my 1988 NA-carb audi,
meaning that my car is meant to preserve automobile history for later generations :-)

You've inspired me to improve my current daily driver. Dual rate lowered springs and sway bars are being shipped as I type. The Tesla Model 3 will handle even better. :)
The best way to avoid stripping out small sized fasteners (especially on motorcycles) Is to get a 1/8 ratchet and sinch them all up by holding the ratchet around the head of the tool, rather than the end of the handle so you can directly feel the torque applied to the bolt and get them to hand tight and then give them an 1/8th of a turn to lock them off.. believe me, an extra few minutes spent doing this is better than spending hours drilling and tapping threads or ordering helicoils and installing those

To undo the anti roll linkage crack the nut off then put your spanner on the nut and use your battery gun with an allen key bit to spin the centre makes it quicker and easier just make sure to clean the threads first 👍
