As a car audio guy and pro, I am very happy to see someone in a video actually pay attention to the sound system and try to do it properly! You even made brackets and used foam rings around the speakers, well done, it sounds like you even knew what you were talking about, refreshing! Love how you built in the sub into the car for a clean look and fit too.
I'm not a car guy by choice but more by necessity. Being poor and needing your car fixed will make you try some silly things. Dude is spot on about tech people and car people being very much part of the same wheel house. I enjoy working on cars and computers as long as I'm not forced to work on either under stressful conditions.

Came to say this. Also, I was shocked when they said it would be operable too. I doubt that they didn't think about longevity when designing the shifter, so it speaks volumes to the screedriver's quality that it should handle that amount of repeated lateral force and still operate.
@StewPedassle the screwdriver is overengineered because linus has such exacting demands and Kyle went to town on it. You don't offer a no question warranty on a product typically if you are not confident in the engineering quality.

I had an Ek9 civic and while the B16B engine was a legend, the plan was always to get a k20, I managed a decent exhaust, coilovers and a fancy gear knob (wasnt an LTT screwdiver) you guys smashed this out in no time, hot damn, good job! great video!

This is a collab I didn't know I needed, but the world is a better place for it. I now need a LTT screwdriver handle for my shifter. I don't have a fancy K series to do this with. Just a stock D series...for now.
Ya seat upgrades and that's the final piece. Basically just a personal commodity but now that your civic is like track ready I think those will be just the perfect finish. Ltt Embroidered racing seats would be so sick I think we can all agree!

This might be the greatest youtube crossover in history. I've followed LTT since before it was LTT and Linus was still doing NCIX, and I've followed MCM since they were still in Marty's driveway... So cool to see them together after the insane growth they've both had.
so awesome to see such a legit car mod video on this channel.. not like the other tech reviewers who do a pathetic attempt at a car video which is essentially a over-glorified product review but not actually a legit car mod video.. This video is even more legit, more mod, than videos on even most car focused channels.. This video legit gave me early West Coast Customs vibes when that old tv program was in it's early first season (a great thing) before production went through the roof and focused on more beyond just modding cars and instead more focused on staff and their antics. I would say I definitely would love another video like this, featuring some of our favorite LMG staff, but i doubt LMG would be interested in a dedicated car mod channel, especially balancing team members across the extra channel, and I'm confident to keep doing projects even a fraction of this would be a money pit.

I work at Ford we use an arm64 based ECU. But yeah they can be 86 but not asic. Look up auto sar for a c++ framework

This might be the greatest youtube crossover in history. I've followed LTT since before it was LTT and Linus was still doing NCIX, and I've followed MCM since they were still in Marty's driveway... So cool to see them together after the insane growth they've both had.
so awesome to see such a legit car mod video on this channel.. not like the other tech reviewers who do a pathetic attempt at a car video which is essentially a over-glorified product review but not actually a legit car mod video.. This video is even more legit, more mod, than videos on even most car focused channels.. This video legit gave me early West Coast Customs vibes when that old tv program was in it's early first season (a great thing) before production went through the roof and focused on more beyond just modding cars and instead more focused on staff and their antics.
I would say I definitely would love another video like this, featuring some of our favorite LMG staff, but i doubt LMG would be interested in a dedicated car mod channel, especially balancing team members across the extra channel, and I'm confident to keep doing projects even a fraction of this would be a money pit.

As a nerd that spends most of my time off the keyboard working on my cars, this was a fun collab with MCM. Watching Plouffe hit vtec was awesome, he now sees the world differently
