By far the best Aussie fishing content 👌 keep em comin’ 🎣
Thanks a lot for your interest in em Boddo ;)
Love your work as usual mate! Been waiting all season for a bass vid! Tried these finesse frogz for the first time this year and they definitely open up a new world in terms of places you can access.
There’s a few more on their way now mate. I love this time of year for em ;)
Thanks for the tips John I've been waiting for a video like this. Now all I have to do if find a couple of descent bass spots and I'm off and running. I use micro O rings (0.75 mm inner diameter does nearly all hooks) to hold the lure in place, they work a treat.👌 I got over cutting the plastic bits. Absolutely beautiful bit of country you're in there. Great production & super informative as always Mate. Cheers. 🎣
Stoked to hear you’ve enjoyed this one Bill and I’m gonna have to get my hands on those micro O rings. Great move!!
Where do you source the micro rings from ?
Thanks to you and your vids my skip casting is well on the way. Cheers boss owe a lot of what I do on my channel to you.
Cheers Kronky. That’s really humbling to hear. Definitely took a lot away from our day flicking together too ;)
I must admit that I am biased as I love my Bass fishing and am addicted to surface, but I think that this may be some of your best work John👍 . The Finesse FrogZ are one of my favorite lures at the moment for all the reasons that you mentioned and more. I just have to have one on one of my Bass rods at all times. They are really handy for fishing areas with surface debris where you can't walk a traditional surface lure too. I like just tossing them high into the long grass fringing the creek, and pulling them out so they fall into the water like a frog had jumped in. Bass seem to hit it as soon as it starts moving. Thanks for another great video mate. 😉
Thanks a lot Rocket ;) they’re an amazing Lure hey. I love doing my Lure reviews but it’s really hard to throw something g else at times. Hahha
Thanks for this one. Been waiting for such a basics vid.
Good to hear mate ;) hopefully you got some stuff from it
Thanks for the video.
Both informative and entertaining.
Did I understand that you have a video on setting up the hooks and plasic frog / shad?
Hi Bruce. I’ve included some more links in the description that could help. I’ll make sure I get a more thorough rigging video up in the coming weeks cause I reckon you’re not the only one keen to dial this style in
Im a right hander, i just need to learn to hold the rod in my left hand so im not changing hands all the time, cheers for the tips
Wind with your left hand. Problem solved.
A very timely video, I'm fishing land based on some pretty skinny water and getting lures to these fish under those overhangs can be a bit frustrating at times. Will be definitely trying this technique in the next day or so. Keep up the great work - Pete...
Pretty exciting stuff once you’re firing it deep into those hidey holes. They can’t resist it and so crazy to hear it get bashed and not be able to see it cause it’s under a Bush. Hahaha
Another awesome clip. Thanks for the tips. I've pulled my pb from that same creek.
That’s good to hear ;) I’m yet to pull a Giant from there but I’ve heard good things
@@mylurebox only fished it a couple of times best on high/change. My bid new creek solid bass is that creek.
I’ve been using the Ned rig lately and it’s been definitely working but I want something a bit more fun to fish. Going to give these little frogs a try!
You’re going to love em ;)
Hey john slow retrieve seems good for all species how would a loose rigged assist hook in each leg go please try as has worked for me. and dont forget cod at Mulwala as its snagless rig and a bit of weight its great as its gets you under the snags
Mate that sounds awesome eh!! Mulwala Cod are a dream of mine.
Great video as always John cheers mate
Thanks Dean ;) good to be back chasing a few Bass
Another cracking vid old mate number 1channel your a credit to the sport ☝️👍

Cheers Aaron ;) these are the smaller ones. I think they’re like 2 inch or 2.5
Great action as always John! 😎

Not really mate. If you’re hanging for a feed then maybe from a stocked impoundment but nothing on a nice pan sized flatty ;)
