I've replanted them out into a raised bed but it's predominantly multipurpose compost in there. I hope that will work!

Hi Sara. Just brush a little soil from the surface and you will see the size of the Beet (they are only a few mm down). If it is not big enough brush the soil back. Keep safe.

I’m in zone 6a in Pennsylvania and never had any problem growing them from seed outside

I have never soaked them before planting. If kept warm and moist they always germinate within a week.

Planted seedlings twice, they came out started to lean over, gave them water and they wilted. Dont know what i am doing wrong.
It's perfectly fine to sow outside depending on where you live, therefore no need to move the seedlings.

You cannot propogate beetroots.
Just leave them in the ground over winter, and in the spring they will go to seed, you won't need to leave very many as you get loads of them
