George Carlin (1937 - 2008) was an American stand-up comedian, actor, amateur philosopher, author, and social critic. He was known for his black comedy and reflections on politics, the English language, psychology, religion, and various taboo subjects. He and his "seven dirty words" comedy routine were central to the 1978 U.S. Supreme Court case F.C.C. v. Pacifica Foundation, in which a 5-4 decision affirmed the government's power to regulate indecent material on the public airwaves. Widely regarded as one of the most important and influential American stand-up comics of all time, Carlin was dubbed by one newspaper to be "the dean of counterculture comedians".

Nobody is like him. He cared about the words and delivered them thoughtfully. Said it himself : I'm a writer who performs his material on stage. I wish I could have seen him live ❤
I miss George. He was the best. He would have lots of material in today’s madness !!
We so need George today! Imagine what he would do with so much political comedic material that is readily available 24/7.
The patron saint of logical thinking and common sense. St. George the Sublime of Carlin !
Why do you believe racism is logical?
@@davidsingh6944 Excuse me? Where did I say that?
Miss him.

Nobody can do Dr. Carlin, his genius was authentic and still relevant today. R.i.p George and Brenda Carlin
