    How about changing the seal o ring on the front of pump just below the small steel line by top bolt on front cover I think it's the fuel shaft on front of pump

      I didn't do a complete reseal on this pump because I don't have the special sockets to remove all of the plugs. That was one I couldn't remove. I did fix the leak though.

      My VE pump is leaking diesel into the timing cover, is that the likely culprit?

      Do you think a leaking governor shaft, (directly above the main input shaft but just outside the timing cover) can be sealed by sealing the retaining lock nut without removing the pump? If so, how? and with what materials?

    I need help with this injector pump it leaks when the truck is running and I dont want my truck to blow up

      I did say that I don't have all the special tools to disassemble everything. This was a free job to get a junker back running. I don't know about you, but I don't buy special tools for jobs that don't pay. Sorry it wasn't more helpful to you.
