I have zero experience in this area, so maybe that's why I'm at a loss for why such complexity is needed. If you were after water separation and/or wanted to get down below 10 microns, all of which is obviously sensible, I could see why you'd want to convert an inline system to a spin on setup, but what I don't at all understand is why a single round of filtration needs to be married to a secondary setup like this. Is the idea that the primary can't be expected to trap enough particulates under load? If someone would be kind enough to bring me up to speed, I really don't mean to sound like I'm knocking any of this at all. I'm just admitting I don't understand.

I can't use the LDS flywheel housing that I re-drilled and tapped/helicoiled to properly align a FSO6406 SAE#2 transmission vertically behind a multifuel, and have a good LDS flywheel with minor surface rust, new 15" 10 spline 1 3/4 disc, and a never used but also slightly surface rusty 5 ton pressure plate, and someone reported me to the city for camping at my shop, so if you or anyone out there needs it, I'd hate to throw it all, and all that work, away, and need some cash asap. I'm getting so desperate I'm watching this video trying to figure out if I can cut the face out of the 6bt SAE#3 housing that I don't need, and maybe TIG or bolt it into the LDS flywheel housing, or modify the LDS housing to fit the Cummins block. Id much rather just find a home for what I have and buy the right stuff to just bolt up but coming up with extra cash lately has been like pulling teeth, and now I have to move on the build or I may lose everything. Anyone, if anyone sees this and wants to put a six speed behind a multi and help a fella out, my name here is the same on ig. Shoot me a dm! :)

We pulled tanks out by block and tackle by hand when we couldn't get our wreckers to a spot.

another thing to look for on these covers i just ran into two this week they send these front seals to me for some reason i guess everyone who gets these cant get em to seal is cummins in all their great stuff they build cannot stamp these front covers square i found two that are cocked sideways uneven so the seals aren't square no matter what tool you use so i took the dial caliper and made a measurement all around it then tapped the low spots to square cause if this seal is crooked it leaks. ahh one in backwards again !! the arrow showing shaft rotation goes out they should stamp this side out it would save some of these guys aggrivation open end in to cup oil
