I think you should do a weekly UA-cam segment called Cooking with Mr Tootles...this was such a great video just to watch the two of you and even having your kids in it for a few seconds. It was very authentic.

We just take chicken breast. Then flour, bitten eggs and panko or bread crumbs. I season the bread crumbs or panko with herbes de Provence, salt, pepper, garlic powder. Yum!

How about just cutting the chicken breast into nuggets size pieces, seasoning it the way you like it and cook in the air fryer.

Hands down the air fryer is the best for my teens! Yes it’s not super for making whole meals but so much reheats nicely in the air fryer.

Instead of Chicken nuggets I do chix breast cut into bite size pieces and coat them with crushed potato chips and bake them at 450 for about 10 min add any spices you like on them before coating them. Gives a nice bite without all the food processor time.

I use whole chicken breast bites as well you can use panco mixed with good old Johnny's all purpose seasoning.

I have the Gourmia air fryer from Costco. I love it. It does have a stacking tray. However, if you really want some good crunchy chicken nuggets and potatoes. Buy the Grillos pickle juice and soak your chicken in it for a day. Cut them up and a little salt and put them in flour and fry up. Then cut potatoes up and put in water, drain the water and put the potatoes in corn meal. Season with salt, garlic and pepper and fry up. It’s delicious!! Serve with hot honey kinders bbq sauce. Amazing!!!

We just got the Kalorik Maxx Trio Flex French Door oven. You can use it as a full width oven with up to three trays/racks (and rotisserie) or put in a divider and have up to three trays/racks on each side... and set the temps/times separate for each side. Walmart is the only place that sells it. Tons of presets, which you can always change or just do your own settings. I'm gonna do chicken chunks as nuggets or fingers (tenders) and coat with breadcrumbs (with or without the egg dip.. can also dip in buttermilk) and season them differently. Spraying them with oil on each side when you flip them toasts them up nice. Some using poultry seasoning... some using Italian breadcrumbs with Parmesan, You can season them however you prefer... and each time differently (and freeze them up too). I like dipping in honey mustard, BBQ, Yum Yum sauce, Come Back Sauce, Teriyaki Sauce, and even Thousand Island or Blue Cheese dressing. The Italian Parm ones I would dip in Marinara Sauce. Tons of dipping sauces you can whip up. Btw... you two are so adorable! Shirley

We make chicken nuggets but just bread a whole piece of chicken breast. No need to ground the chicken and add filler. We have a Breville, which is an air fryer, but has many other functions.

Instead of grinding the chicken, dice the chicken. Add seasoning, then coat with your choice of coating. Place into air fryer and cook on desired temperature, turning halfway until golden brown. 😋😋

Starting as a teen I made my own chicken nuggets. We didn't have air fryers back then, so I took cubes of chicken breast, rolled it in flour, and then an egg wash. Used italian bread crumbs, some parm cheese, and italian seasoning mixed today for the coat. Did a light pan fry before baking

    RE: AIR FRYERS
I had the same mental concept about not able to cook a lot in an air fryer. So, when my oven died, we bought a stove that had an air dryer function. I now use it constantly! I can do 4 cookies sheets of product.

My air fryer is a Ninja. It’s a combination toaster, toaster oven, and air fryer. The “basket” is more like a mesh tray, so I use it way more than the traditional shaped air fryer I initially bought. For my nuggets, I cut the chicken breast into bite size pieces, season my egg that I dip it in, then dredge in panko. I’ve never considered grinding the chicken up.

I’ve not used a bucket air fryer, but we have a ninja air fryer-toaster oven combo. I think the rack can toast up to 9 slices of sandwich bread. It’s a pain to keep clean. Our three teens really like it. The air fryer basket is a little smaller than the oven rack. I like that it folds up so it doesn’t have to take up so much space all the time.

DIP NUGGETS IN BUTTERMILK WITH ONE EGG. SPRAY THE NUGGETS BEFORE YOU AIR FRY WITH AVOCADO OIL OR PAM (will make crispy). Bake less time than the 17 minutes. I bought our Air Fryer with the glass double doors. It is a toaster oven, toaster, convection oven, regular oven & dehydrator. I bought mine for $15 on clearance at Walmart about 3 years ago the same one is $169.00 NOW!!! I use mine 2times a day & have been for over a year. PRAYERS SHE DOES NOT BREAK!!! It was the best $15 I have spent..

We like the recipe from the book Whole Food For Your Family pg. 70 Our Favorite Chicken Strips. They are gluten free too! One thing I do differently is use a ziplock bag when doing the " coating " part. I don't have an air fryer so I cooked them on the stove top. The copying does fall off a bit in the frying pan. These have your spices I think your family will like. We have had them twice and both times they were gone. We have four children. We also bought chicken tenderloins and made them just as good. I had to laugh on your latest Costco video about your wobbly cart. That always happens to me. Thanks for making me laugh have been watching for about 4 years.

I had an air fryer. It broke and I never replaced it. My husband did not like how dry things came out. I was like you Kimmy, seemed like it took up lots of room for small batches of food. I don’t miss it. PS. It broke not from over use but from me dropping it.
I just make chicken breasts with Italian bread crumbs, etc. I think you could do the same with cut up chicken. Sauté on the stove.

    Sweet chilli for dipping
My homemade chicken nuggets I make them like tenders so don't put in the food mixer it doesn't feel like fake processed foods this way. Cut chicken to the size you want. Mix AP flour, salt, sweet paprika, chilli powder, garlic powder and onion powder. Dredge chicken in flour, then dip into egg mix, then breadcrumbs. And air fry.

There's stoves with ovens that have an air fryer in them... I have seen it but I'm not sure how well they work. While I like air fryers, I think I'd rather have a gas oven with a convection fan. I'm not a fan of electric because they tend to cook uneven and if the power is out, forget cooking anything unless you have a BBQ and a place to put it outside. The majority of the air fryer recipes that I have tried that work for me have come from Recipes That Crock, though that could be because they are likely on the same elevation and have the most similar weather to where I live.

I am sensitive to garlic. I'm glad to see a recipe without garlic for a change!

    Mine has shelves
acks like a mini oven. Mine was free. My sister didn’t want it bc she has a big family and I’m single and no kids so it works for me! I’m still learning how to use it

I love my air fryer for quick reheating only. I'm like you, if I'm cooking I need to make a big batch worthy of my time Lol. I do a copycat chik-fil-a recipe that is chicken breast pieces cut up and leave it to soak in leftover pickle juice, I coat in egg and flour and fry in canola oil. Its not the healthiest, but If you have a fast food craving i think you need to give in to get the craving to go away. 💜🌵

Emerel lassi has air fryer that is a counter model. has like oven, with double doors you can separate the sides and cook different things at the same time. main dishes at the same time with everything stacked on top or you could open it up and just do something different
