That's 1 awesome SS👍 LS7 7 litres of pure power, brocky drove a 7.0 litre monaro in the bathurst 24hr race in 2002-2003 and ate every car on the track including lambos
Thanks Rich H! Check out some of our more recent driving vids. We have also taken Clunie off the road officially now for track duties only so we can go all out! Thanks for watching mate.
G'day mate, nice one! We have just upgraded the fuel system and are going E85. What sort of cam are you looking at for your build? Check out our latest episode and our VF will be hitting the race track shortly ua-cam.com/video/4FjzBpLe3mM/v-deo.html
Just installed KW Coilovers Variant 3 to my SS redline and could not be happier....Tight and Relatively comfy on Melbourne shitty roads...well worth the silly money i paid for them
G'day Sleeper, we have since removed the tow hook to reduce weight. It is also now a dedicated race car and we no longer drive it on street unfortunately.
G'day mate, we are fitting BC racing coilovers to our VE in the coming weeks. Check back on the channel and we will do an episode on step by step instructions.
So its a real LS7 with dry sump that is beyond skits mate!! Was the dry sump a pain to deal with? i have always wanted a LS7 but will most likely end up with stroked a LS3
Gday mate, it came with the dry sump but we converted it back to wet sump. Stroked LS3s are very handy if you want more torque. Crate LS7s are getting hard to come by and mine was only 1 of 2 left in Australia from the warranty spares for the W427.
Gday Hugo, not much in our engine bay is stock anymore. The early model VF series 1's come out with a 6.0L L77 normally aspirated engine. We have fitted a LS7 7.0L 427 engine with a aftermarket supercharger and lots more!
@@johnnyle4680 The factory bar has a pre-made cut out/blanking space for VF's in Australia. I suppose they designed it that way as they knew a bunch of people would potentially mess up their bar by trying to cut out the space for the tow hitch.
@@johnnyle4680 Yes I think there are few subtle differences between the Chevy SS and the VF Commodore. The rear bumper diffusers are also different between series 1 and series 2 models. Some have a gloss finish like mine in series 1 and other series 1 have a matte style finish which looks crap.
Gday, we ran into lifter issues with the L77 and it was time for a rebuild anyways. My tune shop had a W427 crate engine and I thought why spend money on a rebuild when I could put the money towards something even better!
Gday mate, I am not too sure if VF Commodores are available in New Zealand. I have details on the cam and exhaust if you are interested. Thanks for watching.
@@ClunieGarage Yes , we have them the Series 1 & 2 VF Commodore in NZ.. I have a VE SS 6speed manual Series 1 Commodore, but I'm looking at buying a VF Commodore that's been enhanced greatly.. lol

Very nice 👌 would love to see some driving vids of this beast. Maybe a quick send in Mexico 😏
We would love to send Clunie to Mexico!! More driving vids to follow soon.
Sounds awesome frank
Cheers, thanks mate
My neck vibrates in happiness just watching
Nice one mate. Have you checked out our other videos of the VF on the channel?
Beautiful car mate, sounds unreal!

Awesome video mate 👍 and I’m just about to put a DART427 7L with a kong2560 blower in my VF GTSR

you have 950hp+ super sleeper monster but you still have tow hook that is what i call true street car :)

Any step by step instructions on Coilover assembly and fitting?
G'day mate, we are fitting BC racing coilovers to our VE in the coming weeks. Check back on the channel and we will do an episode on step by step instructions.
is the LS7 stock otherwise? i didnt think they liked "boost" as in supercharging or turbos due to squeezing 7 liters into a small block ?
G'day mate, you can run conservative boost in them but they have their limits as we have just discovered. Namely sleeves and pistons!

Mate
does it feel like rough idle when you sit in car??
Yep, it rocks the car side to side.
Not bad!
But I wanna hear the tractor on full noise😂
G'day, unfortunately the big tractor is sold but we still have the little red vintage W6.
does this all come stock ??or is the supercharger after market ??

did you paint that rear black diffuser thing? mines not glossy like that
G'day, no I haven't painted anything. Still stock.
Is that a custom rear bumper for the tow hitch?
G'day Johnny, yes standard rear bar with a factory cut out for the tow hitch. We have recently removed the hitch to save weight. Thanks for watching!
@@ClunieGarage cheers for the reply! I didn't know they made the bumper with a hole from the factory.
