The little black piece you said you didn’t know what it was is the key code. It has a number on it. If you lose your key and take that to bmw they can make you a duplicate. Beautiful bike. Still waiting on my black one to arrive

So I know how you must feel. If I would get a new bike that’s what I would get also the BMW S1000rr That bike is amazing with all the technology that’s in that bike with cruise control and the heated grips great features to have. Congratulations. Where in the world are you because My U.K. BMW Dealer guessed a couple of months back that this would hit the dealerships for customers around April so I can only assume his guess was miles out, or the UK is last in the queue to revive our 2023 S1000RRM 😅👍
Im in denver colorado. Honestly i didnt do anything with the dealer. My wife surprised me with this for a gift but as far as I know she tracked it till it got here. But ill tell you its an amazing bike.

Crazy how my '23 didn't come with the key code. Dealer and service dept. said they stopped coming with them

They clean the roads here pretty fast. As long as its above 50 a main roads are clear i try to ride. Staying on the main roads
