Insurance and gas it is what it is. How about maintenance such as brakes, tires, oil change, required engine adjustments, etc. An update when those milestones arrive would be much appreciated. Congrats on buying a great bike.👍👍👍 BTW, IMHO, BMW should have been in MotoGP. It would have scared Ducati 4 real.
I have the same bike and I am also coughing like you I think because of the original windscreen that hits directly your chest.... I see your windscreen is higher though than the original.... I just ordered a wrs model and hope it will help with the cough .....
Jeepers that's crazy insurance. I am in Ireland and I have 6 bikes - including my 2021 S1000 m package, my 2022 Ducati V2 Troy Bayliss and my 2021 Ducati Monster plus and I got full comprehensive insurance last year for all the bikes for a little over €500 - and yes that was for the full year.
Glad your enjoying yours. I got one waiting for spring pickup. Can't wait, my first and probably only 1000cc bike I'll get with the way things are trending with emissions killing bikes and cars faster then a rock falls. Anyways yeah got the extended warranty for peace of mind. Hopefully it's a waste I never need it cause I'd always rather have and not need then have big ass repair bills. For some reason youtube keeps removing the insurance video. i currently pay around 2200 a year for the bike. I have one accident on my record so it is affecting. I har a hard time find insurance that was reasonable. Nationwide quotes me 1800 a month!!
What exhaust are you looking at? Are you going to Bren Tune it when unlocking? Is it 500 or 600 miles? Mine should be here in a week or 2. Can't wait! Keep posting!
I am currently between the shorty akro anf the SC also having thoughts about just doing a 3/4 kit. And its 553 miles to be exact but i heard as long as u are close they will do the service. Im trying to get those miles in correctly.
do you think a 6'2" rider would be able to do long distance touring on this bike; for say....hmmm....500 miles per day ?
Probably not the seat is to hard and pretty aggressive riding stance
I have the M sit and its like sitting on concrete. Just installed gel pad now its good and comfy.

Probably a dumb question but if you do the Bren tuning does it void the warranty?
@@kathygarber3230 not a dumb question but yes i believe it will for sure.
Be careful with the brakes when cleaning that bike. I ruined my pads on my K67 S1k when I let some ACF50 get on the discs.
is there any vibrations on the throttle ? on high rpm maybe
I did notice a vibration at 4k rpm but seems to be getting better as the engine breaks in
@@jdmotorlife ahh i see. noted and thanks for reply
