Actually I've felt some of the smg's and the BAR kick sideways or upward, but then I'm using a controller. I cant be imagining this cause adjusting them did improve weapon stability specially going full auto.

Watched for the beard, subbed to find out if you made a follow up video discussing this in more detail. On PS4 with a kontrol freek, I found I pull right. I can't say it improved my statistical performance, but recoil right made it more subjectively comfortable, adding to the enjoyment of the game, and that's always a plus! Thank you!

Wow, I pull right naturally, didn't realise this. Used your video's left frame to determine my pull and 8-10 times went right. Good to know! It was slight, but still helpful to know.

i pull right, i would have never known had i not watched this, it doesnt dramatically increase accuracy but it does help me to read the situation a little easier resulting in MULTIPLE head shots with fully automatic weapons. great tip, thanks, im subscribed because of this lol

i watched this video awhile ago, but didnt got to think about it so much. lately ive been struggling with my accuracy. then i remembered this vid and decided to give it a try. found out that i pull slightly to left, so i put my recoil to right. it is so slightly little difference, but its still so big difference that it helps me aim SO MUCH better now!

Hey, man! I really like your videos. They helped me a lot! Thanks! About the left/right recoil, I think you can shoot quicker horizontally. If you think about the vectors you will realize what I'm talking about. Imagine you hitting 2 shots at the same horizontal line. If the recoil is left or right, you would be closer to hit the second one.
I really learned to pull down my guns correctly with Destiny's Handcannons. My first gun had a left recoil pattern so I wouldn't be surprised if I pulled right more than left. I'll try it out when I get home

Hey man I just tested this and found I was also pulling to the right slightly. I have tried a quick round with the left recoil bias and it seems to be much easier to combat the recoil.. confirmed! Good Job, Thanks Dude!

I only realised I was pulling to the left when I started noticing a slight bend in it.
Great video man , the problem with this tho is that its sorta like a handicap , because instead of fixing your aim you kinda just compensate for it and since this is the only game that has it , if you go to another game and try it your aim will be really messed up because you wont have the Recoil preference

Excellent video, and topic. I had looked at this in the settings trying to workout why I was w**k at shooting with most weapons.
however as someone who shoots for real, the left and right direction thing is usually about handedness - if that makes sense. So depending on if you are right or left handed depends on which way you pull the weapon in reality - a right handed person will drag it slightly to the right as they try controlling recoil, their instinct being to pull slightly stronger to their right, a lefty will do the opposite.
I will experiment on my next round of battlefield to see if it affects my play on my PS4.

Forgot to add - I found the martini-henry in a crate during a round today... well blow me - I was wasting people for fun, no wonder I get f***ing shot by people who have this weapon - even I couldn't miss... Oh and sod the left and right handedness - it just bloody works.
Might want to get out and try it sometime - was a topic of discussion at work recently amongst those of us who shoot for real.. We all have a variation that seems based on which hand is dominant. I know which side I pull too, and not based on a game.

some people set left recoil when using the madsen. this makes that big mag kick a bit to the left to make it easier to track targets

When dragging my mouse down i´m making a slight curve to the right. This is due to the shape of my table and the way i sit there i think. Never noticed it before. I´m gonna try this out.
Maybe placebo but I found the bar a lot more controllable when set to the right, I tested it compared to left and centred and got a lower recoil pattern

Xbox user here. I'll have to test this but now that I'm thinking about it, it feels like I pull right some. Most noticeable with sidearms. When I get killed in a fight I'm always missing shots to the right of the target and it seems I can't correct back unless I stop firing to adjust. By then I'm dead!

i found that i aim center, however with the top-loaded weapons like the Madsen and Automatico, i'll choose recoil options opposite of the magazine placement (recoil to the left for the automatico, recoil to the right with the madsen)

The Hellriegel has equal left and right recoil, if it 'pulls' one way or the other it's the the user doing it. symthic.com/bf1-weapon-info?w=Hellriegel_1915_Factory
For PC..best way to test this is NOT look at the pointer. Start at one specific point, look away and don't think about it too much. Drag mouse down and see if you ended left or right from the point you started. Most people will pull left. Some right, some middle.
