Happy New Year! I was sleeved on 9/5 . I haven’t been taking this weight loss seriously, until now I want better for myself. I realize it’s time to focus more on myself. Thank you for motivation and sharing your journey.
@@journey2010 I’ve been yo-yo dieting FOREVER! You lose motivation and don’t take it seriously when it’s not working and you know you tried everything, at least that’s been my experience. With my gastric sleeve, I finally found something that worked that took the pressure off of weight loss and helped me focus on the habits! Which allowed me to get to the mindset I’m at now. I honestly would still have a toxic mindset if it wasn’t for my gastric sleeve
Sleeved 9/23. You are so correct about being on an emotional roller coaster. Hit a stall the last 2 months due to a car accident 11/1 and catching whatever virus that's been going around. I've been struggling to get back on my exercise routine and fighting emotional eating. Have my appt for me to see my behavioral therapist. Appreciate your tips and encouraging word's.
@@hisbelovedone7418 I absolutely love that you are being “solution oriented instead of falling victim to your circumstances” like I discussed in this video! This is exactly what I mean by it. Of course give yourself grace as being newly sleeved is a lot plus the accident, seasonal depression, illness but after you’re done feeling the emotions, it’s time to find a solution and you’re doing just that by seeing your therapist. Start slow with your exercise and always focus on your protein and do “smart swaps” (is what I like to call it) when it comes to snacking and over eating, finding macro friendly stuff like protein chips and snacks as you get your eating together, and you’ll be right back on track. Especially because you WANT IT so since you want to be better it’s already yours. Also remember stalls are a normal part of the journey are you’re right at that normal stall mark that we all hit. I have a video on stalls, I’ll link it below for you how to BREAK your Stall after Weight Loss Surgery: VSG 100 Pounds Down ua-cam.com/video/mUIHwPkqbDY/v-deo.html
this is my 4th year trying to lose weight hahahah never succeeded and i get sad most times but hearing that you tried for 14 years i feel relieved a bit coz i wasn’t the only one that took so long on a journey.. congratulations! i’ll keep trying 🙂↕️ and also thank you for sharing ❤
I am 100% with you because I too was sad and disappointed that it took me that long to figure it out and honestly, if it wasn't for weight loss surgery, I would still be trying to figure it out. Weight loss is hard especially when you are fighting against your own body. It makes you feel like you're not doing the right things but maybe you are battling internal issues that you don't even know about. if you haven't already, I would highly suggest you watch my top 3 weight loss tips (ill put the link down below). I took about sustainable weight loss and bring up the fact that you may need to go see a doctor and make sure you don't have any metabolic issues that is making weight loss harder for you! ua-cam.com/video/AC5IlcjwrfU/v-deo.html
@@debrawinn4516 thankfully I hate spending money on vending machines because they hike up the prices but the amount of free snacks we have available 😅😅😅
