I love how you were comfortable to show us the truth of large amnts of weight loss. Thank you. I am 5 weeks post VSG and I also hv VERY large arms. Thank you for keeping it real. 😊
You and your husband are too funny! Listennnn insomnia cookies are hard to share so I’m sorry but I’m with your husband! 🤣🤣. Great vlog and love the convo about how you run and techniques to improve your running style and the fact you did a cold plunge?! You go girl!! @ yessss!! I love that. I mean I also love your sit down videos because you definitely teach/preach/get us together 🤣🫶🏾. It’s also really nice to see you outside of just health and fitness (like your clothing haul shorts/videos). I’m here for it all!

I am so amazed at how much liquids you can drink. I pray that will be me in a few months 😢. Cuz I used to be a water girl. I had a gastric bypass on Oct 29th and still struggling to get even 50oz of water per day. Still struggling with getting in my minimum 60g of protein in as well. Going to start tracking water, food and exercise again. Hopepfully I can keep on top of it all. You and my trainer at the gym are inspiring me to do a 5K this year! He does races like twice per month. Watching you do these races is so awesome and contagious! If I can get on top of my water and protein goals in the next couple months I think I could train and get myself ready for a 5K. Thanks so much for sharing!
@@jodiw893 DONT 👏🏽 LET 👏🏽 THIS 👏🏽 ONE 👏🏽 DAY 👏🏽FOOL 👏🏽YOU 👏🏽😅 lol I still struggle with consistently getting my water in. Working out is what makes me drink more but on average I get 64oz in I’m really trying to consistently get 96oz in. And it took me some time to get my protein up but I honestly never struggled with my protein intake. I’m at 160 grams now. I absolutely love running and racing so can’t wait to hear about you training for one in the near future

@@claudiabaker7480 yasssss!!!! Are you currently training for one? Have you started your running journey yet?
As of now I’m trying to eat healthy and working out . But i hope to start training next month. You inspired me so much.
@@claudiabaker7480 if there’s one thing I’ve learned on my journey is that, the time is going to pass. What you do with that time is what matters. We (me) tend to want to hurry up and get to the end instead of enjoying the journey. The more I just chilled, the more consistent I got. The less I stopped rushing, the closer I got to my goals because I wasn’t restarting. So take it slowly. Do one thing towards the goal of eating healthy and working out, at a time. Build upon it and then you’ll have a bunch of steps working together to the overall goal
Happy Sunday !
@@claudiabaker7480 happy Sunday babes 💚

Amazing woman
Ay don’t listen to them. Jesus loves you!!
@@matthewhaake5591 never will!
I hear a lot about how intuitive eating is so great, by people who do it, but i think it's interesting to see this perspective, because not one style of eating is for everyone. I think intuitive eating is a good goal for people who didn't have eating disorders, or didn't severely struggle with weight or dieting, but not just for those people. Everyone can try it, but that doesn't mean everyone will like it. Thank you for this kind video 💚
@divineneelyyy 100% agree. Some forms of eating works for some and doesn’t work for others. I think it’s important to recognize what will work for you and also what will trigger you. And who knows maybe things will change in the future and maybe they never will. I think I’ve finally come to the point where I fine with whether my journey takes me because it will be the right thing for my future self
“Slow motion is better than no motion” - I love that!
@@caityponn4778 so many times we want to rush to get to the goal, not realizing we are only setting ourselves back because we keep starting over. Instead of just slowing down some and realizing we will get there, SUSTAINABLY AND SANELY 😅, in time!
Yea wls helped solidify that there’s way more to my journey than eating bad food. You look amazing
"You look like sh*t and you feel like sh*t". Words l said to myself in the mirror this morning.
so true, the issue of a person's own faults or responsibilities cannot compare to the status of accessible products to stay healthy from food, to living situations, to sleep schedules and work schedules. so many things play a role and with generally only money making and supporting a healthy lifestyle things become a lot harder for those who have a smaller income.
It’s so easy to emotional eat !
It's not about fault it's about responsibility. Once you are an adult on your own, it is now your responsibility to fix it. So if you are a fat adult it is your own fault. But fat children are at the fault of the parent unless it is due to uncontrollable medical circumstances like lymphedema
See but I don’t 100% agree with that. If you’re at your parents house until you’re 18 then out on your own, 18 is considered adult, so are you immediately supposed to make a change because you’re now labeled an adult and no one else’s problem? I don’t think weight loss, eating right, and exercise is as black and white like people make it seem like. 18 years of being one way and then flipping it is exactly how people start doing the yo-yo dieting. But I do think all things come to an end. After a while you can’t blame things on your parents, childhood, and upbringing. Once you know better you do better. I think the problem is people aren’t given grace when they are going through the phase of knowing better and trying to do better. They immediately get attacked with fatphobia which makes them spiral to toxic diet culture
@ I get what you're saying but ultimately it leads to the same thing, eventually you will be the only person responsible for your life and your outcome regardless of how you were raised. That is something that we all have to learn regardless of when and nobody owes us grace to do so. We have to do what is in our best interest and not hope to get grace or validation on it. There are a lot of things worse than diet that people have had to overcome so everyone is capable of doing this. it's not about other people giving you grace or their opinions of you. What matters is the effect on the individual. I am speaking from experience, grew up obese and did not lose weight on my own until I was out on my own. It doesn't matter what you were taught or how you grew up, either you will learn to do better for yourself or stay as you are. And if that person cares too much about the opinions of others in an unhealthy way, that's another thing they need to overcome and deal with. Doesn't matter how hard or difficult, we all have to do what we have to do. Unfortunately most people today choose not to
@@reneeahldae2970 100% agree with you! Great points made
I gained all my weight working in healthcare. That group ordering will have you fat! I used to walk at least 3-4 miles a day and still gained weight. The drinks and stress eating yes. You will be fat. Also eating those trays that people don't want. Sometimes the resident's food have weight gaining materials in them. Yes you'll gain weight.
you look awesome and now making me want to get back to running!! Keep up the great work!
Congratulations!
