    This is such a lovely performance. You create such a wide soundscape. This majestic bass, this crystal clear but still warm tone… I‘ve had to listen to it three times in a row. And I really enjoyed it!
    It‘s played in such a convincing way!

    This is all very nice, but shouldn't the tempo of this piece be oriented towards the cantata chorale it was derived from, which is the finale of "Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben" BWV 147?
    The voices in the choral line there flow smoothly - not dragging like a funeral dirge - and the triplets are played dance-like by the oboes. Something like MM 84 quarter notes/min. Look at the autograph score: the triplets are slurred! You might like to check out the excellent performance of the cantata on YT by the Swiss Bachstiftung (29.06.2019). The chorale finishes up the work at 28:03. Best wishes.
