  • Burning Man can wreak havoc on your skin (aside from the potential to end up with sun burn. The playa dust is alkaline and adding that to the harsh environment means your skin is in for a hell of a battering.
Even those of you with the most hardy of skin are still probably going to want to take some extra care of it and bring along some essentials to keep it from drying out and cracking.

Your videos are so, so helpful! Thank you for gifting us all in this way! Also I can't help but smile whenever I hear the random rooster crow. ;)

Thank you so much for putting these out!! It's the first time I'm going to TTiTD. and even though I have been to a ton of regionals, the Desert is kind of intimidating.. You are making it a little less scary..

Even I use sun screen, and I don't burn... I just turn really brown, almost a bronze brown. But regardless I use sun screen!
Also this will be my first time.

Congrats on getting tickets you must be so excited for your first time! You're so lucky that you don't really burn, I totally agree it's still worth using sun screen to be on the safe side. I burn really fast in the sun but it's the one place where I stay really on top of sun protection.

Thank you, I'm counting the days till I start the long drive (27hours) from my house in South Texas, to BRC. My sister swears that putting on a thin dusting of talcum/baby powder n right after you put on your sun screen helps, but I've never tried it. If i bump in to you out there, maybe you could tell me if it helped you out any, if at all.
