- Today I'll walk you through how I paint one of the best crankbait colors for spring fishing. The red lipless crankbait has grown to be one of my favorite picks over the last few years. I'm doing a spinoff of the popular "Rayburn Red" colorway that is popular among a number of brands. I'll go through a few different versions so I'll need your input!

I'm liking that florescent one myself. The ventilation system is awesome! If I ever start painting lures again I'm building one. Even out in the garage you can smell kbs in the house. Still my favorite clear cause it's just so dang easy.

I like the look down speckled lure. That’s my favorite. The lure with big black eyes looks more like something one might see in a marine setting.

Definitely gonna try the red for spring again this year, I didn't get much time last year to try it but will try to this year. Hell this craziness going around (not saying the name) says sun and warmer weather will help, so don't ask me twice to go fishing.

Very nice vid. Your in the final stage of being an angler of making baits to match your needs. Super cool stuff. My fav is the one with red eye with black outline. The bait I think would look better with the solid black eye but maybe the red spot will help them key in more?

I’d throw all three! Liked the black eyes best but not by much. They’re all cool. Caught my 1st two bass fish of the year couple of days ago on a red/orange “ripriss” crank. Great vid. Peace & tight lines bro.

Hi, Debo's! The weather here in INDIANA. Isn't cooperating this last week of March. Been watching your video's for 4 days. Still working threw this out break. I have been dying my soft baits with Chartreuse dye. Just the very ends. Could you tell us what bass lures for pre spawn and the spawn times. Also what do you think of dying your soft baits? Could you also start a video club of people catching Debo Dinks. Thanks, for the great video's. Many people are out there on the front lines fighting this Virus. I had the best morning of 2020 this morning. I was using a rapala shadow rap suspending jerkbait in the ghost minnow color. Biggest was about 3 pounds but in all I caught about 8 fish. It was a beautiful morning too. I love my hobby because for a few hours I forgot about how hard times are in the world right now. Hope you're ok brother

Cool
When I use a stencil I mask off the adjoining lines to keep the over spray off of everything. I didn't like the florescent red I used the first time, but I saw that the clear knocks in back to a point where it's OK. I use wicked flo red and it's not as pink but it does take a couple coats to saturate the color. Nice job!

You could flick a toothbrush with a little paint to get the spots
