I used gram flour as a facial cleanser, but it rather lead to skin rash. As a result, later, I started using littleextraa riceberry face wash, and trust me, my skin has greatly improved from this and got better than it was before it was... acne reduced, blemishes reduced, open pores reduced a lot, and skin has become brighter and softer, and I am receiving compliments from people these days.
It provides good moisture to your face, according to me, it properly cleanses your face. Ricebberry facewash is good for people living in areas with high dust levels.
Double cleansing was one of the biggest changes I made this year. When I shower before bed and do my skincare routine, I use fragrance free ponds cold cream on my face before stepping into the shower and leave it on while I wash, then rinse it away and cleanse. Sometimes I think it protects my skin when I stand in the shower too long as well 😂 love all these cleansers. Happy Monday! 💜🎄
@@jenniferosea right now I'm using vanicream gentle cleanser to keep it simple. I've been trying to incorporate salicylic acid into my morning routine the past two months, so I want to keep my night routine with minimal ingredients haha. Vanicream has been good to me 🥰 i've used that Cetaphil cleanser mentioned in the video and plan to use that one again after I finish with the vanicream cleanser!
I’m in Australia and use QV Face Gentle Cleanser for my dry sensitive skin as per dermatologist advise….absolutely beautiful gentle cleanser which cost $25 AUD for 500 mls, best and cheapest cleanser I’ve ever used. I double cleanse at night with this if I wearing makeup, and single cleanse if I’m just wearing sunscreen mascara and lip colour. I know Australian derms favour this brand.
I've found that the Eucerin Baby Wash & Shampoo is a good dupe for the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Wash AP+, and it's far less expensive. I've used these both as a facial cleanser, body wash, and tried the Lipikar wash also as a shampoo. They work great!
Heads up on the la Roche posay toleriane hydrating gentle cleanser. It has niacinamide and it started to really burn my skin (I'm on accutane) so I switched to the avene gentle cleanser mentioned first. Much better 😊
Love your look with hair parted on the side AND a little lip color! ( I am old enough to be your mother….my comment sounds like something my mom would say!)
Tried the LRP Lipikar Cleanser this summer when the Toleriane Cleanser was out of stock. Whoa, y'all. That one is significantly more stripping for people with super sensitive, eczema/rosacea prone skin. That one became a body wash for my kids.
It would be really helpful if you could mention which one of these could be used first and which ones as second for double cleansing for acne prone dry skin. Great video btw 😊
Happy Monday! Double cleansing at night! And in the morning I usually used Cerave foaming and Cerave moisturizing cream! But since I started Neutrogena retinol and I follow your directions. I stopped using Cerave foaming in the morning and just use my sunscreen and Cerave moisturizing cream. Two weeks to once a week for the retinol and I started twice last week.... everything is going great! THANK YOU
Can you please do a dry face wash video for people who are allergic to coconut and coconut derivatives? It's so hard to find shampoo/skincare with it nowadays it seems. Happy holidays!
I was so excited about the Avene cleanser, but it doesn't remove (non waterproof) mascara or tinted sunscreen for me AT ALL. I still use it in the shower as a second cleanse, but I wish it did a better cleansing job. The best makeup remover I've found for my dry, ultra sensitive skin is the Good Molecules cleansing balm. That stuff is a miracle in a jar!
I've been using CeraVe's hydrating cleanser since you first introduced me to it and that's where I stay. Sometimes I use Cliniques Take the Day Off as my first cleanse. Thank you for all these options! Have a great Monday evening!!!! 🎄 🌟
I'm very interested in a comparison between the updated Cetaphil and the equivalent CeraVe products. I may need to do a comparison experiment, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.

K-Beauty, IMO is much more gentle than western beauty products. The Heimish balm cleanser along with their All Clean Green Foam is fantastic as a double cleanse. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! 💖💖
I love the new Cetaphil gentle cleanser as well. It feels nice to massage it around the face. Also loved the Aveeno calm and restore cleanser, WAY more than I thought I would. Manages to still cleanse well somehow even without many cleansing agents
@@Goat.Cheese I usually double cleanse, the second time with my Clarisonic. But on occasion, I get lazy and just do a thorough single cleanse and by golly, all the foundation and makeup is almost always GONE! I don't really need a second cleanse, but I do it anyway. Stuff is amazing.
I hope cleansers will be more and more gentle. The worst thing is to remove dirt and wash your face with a product, that leaves the skin worse than it was before. Producing more face and body, 2 in 1 cosmetics would also be good.

And then started putting moisturizer on damped skin started adding niacinamide and now in winter I started slugging with cerave healing ointment soon want to start adding retinal Thank you Dr dray for all your tips you really helped me save my skin and helped me figure out what my skin type is and for all the recommendations that are affordable you are the real MVP you gave me more knowledge about my skin and treating it than when I would go and see a dermatologist in person and charging me way too much with no result
The cleanser from Milk Makeup does wonders for dry skin! My combination skin becomes extremely dry in the winter and that cleanser has been my holy grail ever since I started using it 2 years ago. It is extremely hydrating, creamy, and it cleans well enough to remove sunscreen that isn't water resistant. I have tried the Cetaphil, LRP, and Neutrogena cleansers and I always go back to the Milk Makeup one.
That La Roche Posay lipikar cleanser is great! It’s gentle enough that I can use in my double cleanse routine (it will not remove mascara without a first cleanse - use a balm first) but it’s strong enough to break down sunscreen on my no makeup days. And the bottle is huge! I love the pump too and it can be used on the body. Have you tried the Tula cleanser that we received in the fabfitfun box..I’ve been curious if it was worth trying out?
Happy Monday Dr Dray and everyone ! I have sensitive skin , so even though my skin is on the oily side and acne prone at 58 I find gentler cleanser works best . Have a fabulous day . Love to mom and Tybee xoxoxoxoxoxo . I have used the Rovectin cleanser and its very nice .
I always used to double cleanse, but I feel like I had real success only using one cleanser (Avene Cleanisng Oil is my HG) seeing as I don't really wear any waterproof or water resistant products that would necessitate a true oil cleanse. Couldn't recommend the Avene Cleansing Oil enough for sensitive skin - it is water based, as opposed to a traditional oil cleanser, and foams lightly to remove everyday tinted sunscreen and washable mascara with ease. I've also started using it as my hand wash and seen a big improvement!
