@3:01, can you explain why one would be disappointed as an “all around bike”? Specifically, Sedona. Is it because there’s not enough suspension? I love the Supercaliber for my kind of riding/trails, but curious what the perfect all-around bike would be for you?
This is a great question, and I appreciate you asking. Before I answer, I will say that I ride everything and anything, and I consider Sedona the proving ground of AZ. First, the Fuel EX would be my ideal all-around MTB in the Trek lineup. I own a 9.8 and have often said it is the Toyota Tacoma of the Trek MTBs. Out of the box, it has 150/140 with the ability to adjust, tune, and increase travel if needed. I adore my Fuel EX. That said, I love the Super Cailber and can't wait to have one in my garage. However, when I took it out on some of the same trails as my Fuel, I felt beat up and worn due to the lack of travel. Don't get me wrong; I love the SC at places like Browns Ranch, Hawes, some parts of Payson, and Sedona. Riding with my friends in Colorado on some ridiculously flowing trails, it was perfect. I sincerely believe the perfect mountain bike is the one where you have the most fun. Whether that is a Fuel EX or a Super Caliber is up to you. Personally, I ride each one of my bikes like I stole it, lol. Again, I will ride any bike, on any trail, anywhere. Whether I have to hike it or bike it, I enjoy myself. I hope this answer is helpful to you, my friend. I appreciate you watching our video and engaging in conversation. Have a fantastic day and adventure safely.
Great honest, informative review as always. I love my Gen 1 XT for here in Wisconsin.
Thank you for watching my friend and leaving your feedback. Both are appreciated.

Awesome review
Thank you, Gary. Thank you for watching.
If I go up a few classes this year, this will be my 2025 present to myself… :)
I love it! Good luck to you this racing season, my friend. Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave your feedback.
