Love this - looking forward to my new SLR in a few weeks... happy Gen1 owner and ProCaliber 9.8 owner now soon to be SuperCaliber Gen2 owner 👍🎉 Yes TREK F&@& Yes TREK 💪 Happy amateur XC racer here placed 21st Nationally UK last season. Roll on 2024 🤘
I got the Procaliber 9.8 solely because the Supercaliber was a bit too heavy for me. Our local races go up super-steep vineyards and I definitely notice the difference between my Procaliber and my old Cannondale (11 kg). Perhaps my next bike will be the Supercaliber. I plan to race my Procaliber for the next 5 years though.
Great Video! Thanks Alex for all of the effort you and the teams put forth improving an already excellent bike, and the great tech update descriptions!
Wish I could get a deal on this but sadly sell other brands. Bunch of my customers laugh when we talk about my dream XC bike because they are like dude you can get a deal on anything but Spec and Trek and want them both. Granted one did get the first gen and it’s nice to enjoy it during tunes I do for him so fingers crossed he will upgrade now. Anyways sick build guys will try and swing by the Boise store one day soon. ❤❤❤
Con tantos constructores de Marcos o Cuadros que existen hoy en día,Voy a probar con algunos de ellos haber si puede hacer uno con estas mismas dimensiones en Aliminio,
I think it is ultimately lighter. I could be very wrong, but that is the only thing that makes sense to me. Luckily Trek usually has dope service mechanics. I take all my bikes to them, because they dont f up my torques etc…
PF BBs allow for wider and stiffer frame BB support well as lightest available BB bearings. Also if you do that much DIY maintenance on your bike, just get a beating press and stop sweating👍
That bike is dope, but not the reason she won gold. She would have done it on many bikes, she is so talented! When she didnt go OTB off that rock face in the Olympics, that def was the bike, solid geometry.
This is a high performance, light carbon race bike with LOTS of tech and engineering built in and specialty rear shock. If you're not racing or a serious xc'er than this model is not for you. Sorry
Jolanda is genuine, I been a fan for 7 years. It was a real treat to show an interview.

Jolanda + Trek = 🎉🎉🎉 nice engineering 👍
Super bike (and rider) but many designs are consistently coming into the top ten in XC Elite races in 2023 including Cannondale, BMC etc for example.
Awesome bike. Just waiting now for the Supercoil DH/XC version now😂
When will there be flight attendant versions of super caliber and top fuel?

Why the hell is that still have a press fit bottom bracket

It's a PF92. Do you realize how many press fit bb there are? Yes some types of press fits are prone to issues. The PF92 is spectacular
There’s Wheelsmanufacturing pressfit BB that’s thread together in the middle. Awesome reliability and easily serviceable

I'm curious to know if it will be coming to india 😊
Wish I could afford one.
2023 QUESTION - How might I purchase this bike in the Aqua Color - size L for Men?
“Having a SLIGHTLY more capable bike” - that pretty much sums it up.
Eh, grams become pounds, and seconds count in these races. Every little bit helps at this level.
0:40 rear sus actuation reminds me of different stuff off the bike 😂

WHY NO LOCKOUT LEVER?
I’ll be honest and say I was here just to see Evie so a little disappointed she wasn’t in this.
Me too but I guess neff has been the biggest performer for trek winning gold at Olympics
No power meter option even with top specs. Paint options are underwhelming; otherwise, awesome bike!
The bike that Specialized made a copy off
Complete price-point range: Completely unaffordable at all points.
I bought one today
@@cheekys.o.b804 did you get it colour matched with your Porsche, or are you slumming it?

This thing's cost would exceed it's value at half the price. "Sorry" indeed.
Why no Knock Block? Seems a retrograde step
