@southerncyan4098 that much battery life is an absurd request with out current technology, you're asking for a battery life 4x the amount capable of current vr abd ar headsets. The most you'll need is 6 hours. You won't be using the virtual features every waking moment of the day. That being said, the minimum battery life would need to be about 4 hours.
if these glasses were to be much like the Meta glasses with the camera and even better with LiAR, I could see myself potentially purchasing them. As the Meta glasses provide much accessibility to a visually impaired/blind person (which I am). Being able to read text identify signs describe buildings and doors. Tell you what’s in the environment and so much more. The metal glasses can even read handwriting. So yes, if Apple were to make a Meta type glasses, I would certainly consider it.
Ya they do buy of course it's so much money 💰🤑 no ône going to buy it and again because of this there is not alot of content now but of course there are plenty of companies that offer better for less and have bin making this stuff for years apple makes it sound like they just came out with something special it's special all right 👍😂 it's simple apple 🍎🍏 is for children and elderly 😮😂 and adults that don't know how to use email 📨 🍏📴 Android 🤖📱💯%
Surely it's impossible for Apple Glasses to look like those mockups. How on earth would the user be able to focus on the images in the lens without additional lenses between the eye and glasses screen. If anyone know how please inform me.
Waveguides. That's what Metas Orion uses. Projector bounces light around in the lenses, guided by etching, until it matches the angle if light like its bounced from a far away object and it converges on your retina accordingly.
I would definitely consider buying the apple glasses if they are as cheap as you say! I also would need to get a new laptop or iPad to use as I go into university/ college!
They've patented a recording feature that notifies you when it is on because when they released the google glasses (earlier model) with the visible camera it unnerved people an it was banned in a few public places, so now if it's recording you will be notified which I like.
I been a optician tech for many years. There’s many glasses in the market for $600 plus and with no tech, it’s just for fashion . $500 is a pretty good price point.
Nice Video, Matt! I would love to buy a Vision Pro - I started this year with a Meta Quest 3 to get into the VR / MR game, but the Vision Pro would be so amazing to test against that!
For me the major question is how about if I wear prescription glasses? I won’t put one pair on top of the other, will I? Or how would that work for people who already wear glasses?
Hi Matt, I’m looking into 2 things: First I would like to update my iPhone 14 to the new 16 pro or update my old iPad Pro to the new 13 inch iPad Pro with M4
Hey Matt, i have the iPad Pro 13 inch in my wish list of Apple products that i would love to buy this year, however i may first need to look at buying an iMac 24 first… depends on what my budget allows. Thanx for the great channel, always informative!!
I would definitely buy $500 smart glasses. My normal glasses cost around $200 less so for $200 extraI am getting smart features. This year I am hoping to buy my first camera but I am still not sure which one to go for.... Also just a little bit of feedback. On the video cover you show a smart glass with the apple logo on it and apple apps on the glass part. To make it a more realistic representation of smart glasses you should invert the app logos. Also you make really great content that I enjoy watching. Keep it up!
Interesting video. Thinking of upgrading to the new iPhone 16 pro at the end of this year and get the new MacBook Air to replace my current older MacBook Pro!
primarily YES Apple-glass will not be equipped with a camera ? about the LIDAR system in these glasses and how they work whether without a smartphone ?
I too am evaluating the value and functionality of XREAL glasses. Have been interested in AR glasses since the Google Glass. Apple Glasses could be what mo es me from being a Samsung user to an Apple user. Great introduction to your channel.
that is a solid price for an apple product i have percription glasses so i can't use them though on an unrelated note can you use ipad air 5th generation with hands that have either cream, water, grease, or oil on them it was fine with my ipad mini 4 no damage at all but i heard the 5th generation air has a different type of screen than the ipad mini 4 so i want to know if it can handle those items on screen like the mini 4 or if it would damage the screen.
I would definitely think about buying the apple glasses but I was looking at more something like the Visor that’s coming out soon. Seems to be much more usable for work.
Your videos are fantastic, entertaining and greatly informational and insightful! Honestly the next apple thing I’m looking at is the iPhone to come out or a nice Apple Watch, I need to upgrade my iPad but first is reintegrating back into the eco system
Thanks for the videos and updates, really like them and keep up the good work! I was a die-hard Android fan for all my life but am now switching over to iPhone for the first time in September with the iPhone 16 release. The well integrated ecosystem won me over eventually... Really looking forward to the new iPhone! It would be amazing to start that adventure with an iPad next to it ;) Great initiative from your side!
I will agree with that, I still have the first gen 9.7 inch, but I have been really thinking about upgrading that device this year, as well as a new phone, maybe new AirPods, among some other things if I can save up enough to buy, all at some point, but for right now, I’m considering spending a bit on some new trains or my other hobby of sorts….
Looking forward to upgrading my iMac towards the end of the year. Looks like the replacement will have to be an Apple Studio but I’m not sure what display to buy for it. The Apple Studio display looks great but is way too expensive.
I’m planning on buying a new Mac for my mom. She’s very into photography and hasn’t had an upgrade since her 2010 iMac. Besides that, I bought the new 11 inch iPad Pro with 264 gb of storage and I kinda think I could use more storage. Maybe I’ll upgrade in a few months to the 13 inch with 1 tb of storage…
I am hyped for these apple glasses. But I also think that the Vision Pro does the job already really good! I am still hoping to get a hand on the Vision Pro or the newer model that will be released!! The new iPads also have made my mouth watering. xD But my budget does not allow a new iPad :( Hopefully I am lucky this time :)
Great video and as always very informative, thank you! I'm am looking forward to buying the XReal glasses, unless apple decides to do some special Surprise release of something different.
Would love to get the new ipad and pencil setup. As far as VR, i have the meta quest 3 and its insane how far it has come in a short time. Love the content. Keep it up!
Would you BUY the Apple Glasses with their NEW Purpose that is discussed in the second half of this video?
I'm intrigued.
Yes they look like a good product.
yes me want to buy bcz this is very slim, lightweight
Also, my thing is that the glasses will need eye and hand tracking like VP!
I am deaf, the main interest for me is can it do auto captions as people talk! i would not get vision. so bulky!
Thanks!
Thank you so much, it means a lot
The $500 price would make them sell like hot cakes. I would probably buy them with prescriptions but there’s also no word on battery life yet.
Definitely, Battery life makes or breaks these in terms of usefulness (gotta be able to get 12 hours at least ideally)
@@southerncyan4098 Yep, agreed %100
@southerncyan4098 that much battery life is an absurd request with out current technology, you're asking for a battery life 4x the amount capable of current vr abd ar headsets.

That being said, the minimum battery life would need to be about 4 hours.
I think Apple will charge at least a grand or two. Apple does not sell new products cheap.
@@Ajia_No_Envy
Agreed.
Would Apple charge for prescription lenses or would you have to purchase a clip-on prescription lens
if these glasses were to be much like the Meta glasses with the camera and even better with LiAR, I could see myself potentially purchasing them. I just can’t trust Meta

When do we get our apple contacts?
Thank you so much for the great content, planning to buy the apple glasses when it's available.
I would totally buy these with prescription lenses and transitions.
Surely it's impossible for Apple Glasses to look like those mockups. How on earth would the user be able to focus on the images in the lens without additional lenses between the eye and glasses screen. If anyone know how please inform me.
Look up even realities G1 they are already doing it. Juiced up up with Apple Intelligence and IOS would be wayyyy better
Waveguides. That's what Metas Orion uses. Projector bounces light around in the lenses, guided by etching, until it matches the angle if light like its bounced from a far away object and it converges on your retina accordingly.
Some adapted reflex type technology like the we have now on our cars (read up screens)
How much
Planning to buy the apple glasses if comes cheap.
Planning to get iPhone 16 pro, upgrade from SE2 :)
It would be good if apple glasses could enhance driving by highlighting potential hazards.
Hi Matt, I’ll be definitely be purchasing the iPhone 16 pro when it comes out. It looks pretty dope!
Apple glasses sounds good and looks affordable too...
They do indeed for the second reason
Apple and affordable don't exist in the same universe.
I’m hoping to buy the M3 Macbook Air this year !!
I'm currently looking at the XReal glasses so I'm open to buying an Apple version instead if they can make a more vivid video playback.
Hey Matt!! Love the videos!! But I’ve been looking to get a new Apple Watch this year… although not too sure quite yet.
Upgrading from 12 pro max to 16 pro max for sure this year 🎉
Looking to buy iPhone 16 Pro when it launches.
Been waiting for apple glasses for years I can’t wait for them to come out
Me also
I would definitely consider buying the apple glasses if they are as cheap as you say! I also would need to get a new laptop or iPad to use as I go into university/ college!
The thought of people eventually recording you via glasses without you even realize is terrifying.
They've patented a recording feature that notifies you when it is on because when they released the google glasses (earlier model) with the visible camera it unnerved people an it was banned in a few public places, so now if it's recording you will be notified which I like.
Who cares. You're being recorded everyday of your life anyway.
Meta raybans already exist, except they thought of that worry and have a light turn on when the camera is recording.
But it's fine if the government records you without you knowing... They been doing it for decades. 🤫
Looking to buy airpods and iphone 15 pro on replcement every year or two program....
LMAO!!!!!! $499.00 Dollars for glasses??????? That is ridiculous - Apple and their outrageous, stupidly high pricings. Waste your money people.
It's a device...
Meta raybans are already expensive enough but they do good things over the already expensive raybans
I been a optician tech for many years. There’s many glasses in the market for $600 plus and with no tech, it’s just for fashion . $500 is a pretty good price point.
Really? I thought that wasn’t that bad
My non tech glasses without insurance are around $1000
Great Video! I am looking at the Apple Glasses because of the proposed pricepoint and expected featureset. Vision Pro is WAY out of grasp for me.
Nice Video, Matt!
I would love to buy a Vision Pro - I started this year with a Meta Quest 3 to get into the VR / MR game, but the Vision Pro would be so amazing to test against that!
I plan on getting a iPhone 16 ProMax.
Can this glasses take pic of questions and gives answer
I’m thinking of buying a iPhone Pro Plus, either 14 or the next version.
Very helpful video. May think of buying the Apple glasses.
What about those that are near or far sided?
Hoping to upgrade iPhone SE and purchase a Mac Mini
I’m torn to get an iPhone 16 or wait.
For me the major question is how about if I wear prescription glasses? I won’t put one pair on top of the other, will I? Or how would that work for people who already wear glasses?
Most of these companies offer the option to incorporate your prescription into the glasses
I'm looking forward to having these glasses!!!! But that 13" iPad Pro is my next purchase. I'm in music and graphics so I'll have to upgrade 😊
Need to upgrade my ipad pro 9.7 to the new model ipad pro. Also a iphone 13 to iphone 15
Planning to get iPhone 16 pro, upgrade from 12 pro

Look to upgrade so Final Cut Camera can be optimised
I will be upgrading to an iPhone 16 Pro from an iPhone 13 Pro but I’m not sure on which screen size yet.
Interesting video. Thinking of upgrading to the new iPhone 16 pro at the end of this year and get the new MacBook Air to replace my current older MacBook Pro!
For your contest, I'm hoping to get the 11 inch iPad Pro

Getting an Apple Watch Ultra 2 hopefully soon, would also love to be getting my hands on a macbook, though we'll have to see about that one :)

Are these glasses prescription based? If not, I wear prescription glasses
hoping to get a new apple tv 4k myself this year :)
Looking to buy the Vision Pro for Development Purposes - hope its worth it! Looking forward to the glasses too.

Definitely getting the iPhone 16 Pro Max in September.
Hi Matt,
I’m looking to upgrade my Gen 6 iPad, so I’ll be buying a 13” iPad (Air or Pro) with Apple Pencil Pro.
Your videos are fantastic, entertaining and greatly informational and insightful! Honestly the next apple thing I’m looking at is the iPhone to come out or a nice Apple Watch, I need to upgrade my iPad but first is reintegrating back into the eco system
I would be interested in getting the new iPad Pro.
More importantly, can they be used to see through clothing?
Hello! I’m definitely going to be upgrading my iPhone 13Pro this year to either a 15 Pro or 16 Pro! Thanks for doing the giveaway!

Nice smart eyeglass. hoping it will be available in the Philippines
I am really hoping and wanting the AirPods Max 2. Also going to get the new iPhone 16pro , maybe the watch ultra if I feel is a big enough upgrade.
Deffinately excited to upgrade my iPhone this year. The glasses would be depending on price vs comfort/usability for me personally.
Thanks for the videos and updates, really like them and keep up the good work!
I was a die-hard Android fan for all my life but am now switching over to iPhone for the first time in September with the iPhone 16 release. The well integrated ecosystem won me over eventually...

I’m wondering if you can hook up controller up to it and play games
Would like the apple vision pro but would consider getting the glasses until I'm ready for the vision pro.
