Dr Dray, I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate your no nonsense approach to skincare, sunscreen, and hygiene products. As a consumer it can be extremely frustrating trying to weed out the good from the bad. I also have a tremendous amount of respect for the fact that you stress the importance of sunscreen as part of a daily routine. My skin and that of my families is now healthy, hydrated, and protected from sun damage thanks to you! You really are a breath of fresh air in the UA-cam community. Thank you! 😁
I used to use so much of their stuff in highschool because I was a kid and didnt have a lot of money. I walked past their section in the store for the first time in a while and was shocked at the prices now..
@@TikalKeria my older sister used to buy from them because of the fact that she loved their acne fighting foundation. I went to get her some the other day and I was shocked to see how much more it was.

Cerave will be releasing a new version of their SPF30 mineral sunscreen w/ a tint! The product's information is already available on their website and Amazon. Can't wait to hear your review about it!
Thank God you mention fragrances. This is a HUGE health issue that almost no one is aware of. Thank you for helping people understand how harmful fragrances can be for your skin and overall health.
Thank you! My daughter has the most sensitive skin ever and has had issues with perfumed products. We have to be so careful of everything she comes in contact with. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Your channel has helped take so much stress out of my skin care routine, ha! The skin care market is so overwhelming, but your knowledge and advice has helped simplify the process of searching for good products SO much. Thanks for being such a great learning resource for consumers in this area!

I have an update on my mole removal biopsy: the results were, in a nutshell, that the mole had the likely potential to become a melanoma in the future. I'm 28 and just want to encourage everyone of all ages to get a yearly mole checkup with a dermotologist. Thank you for this Target review! 💕
My entire body have like 7,8 moles and also on my face , so does my mother , my sister, and pretty much everyone in my family. A few of them we all have since the time of our births at the same spot for everyone. Thankfully we all are healthy. I am wondering what kind of mole check up are you talking about?
"Men need just as many fragrance containing choices to overwhelm their immune system as women" I love your videos. I'm going to check out some of your moisturizer videos. Thank you!
In retrospect, I love that you recommend proper hand washing and hand sanitizing to protect our elderly and immuno-compromised friends and family MONTHS before the covid-19 outbreak. I respect and admire you so much Dr. Dray!
The regular unscented version is my favorite lip balm of all time. Had to look up the one she showed since I hadn't seen it before and it definitely looks like a different formulation.
This is the first Dr. Dray video I’ve seen! I’m so excited to have found a reliable dermatologist on UA-cam! I’ve had some frustrating skin issues lately and can’t wait to learn more about treating it better
I don’t understand why Target doesn’t sell the fragrance free version of the Neutrogena Hydroboost lotion. Walmart and Amazon have it to those who are looking for it.
I appreciate the perioral dermatitis shout out! Your video on the subject is how I found you. I’m struggling still, but your information helped me so much. Love you and your videos!!!
Hi Dr. Dray!! Did it again ... the fabulous come backs are on point!! All backed by truth, real data, and lots of science...just the way I like/need it. 👍🙌

I use that Tom's Silly Strawberry children's toothpaste! I have sensory issues and just cannot use mint or cinnamon oral care products. And I couldn't find a non-alcohol, non-mint, non-cinnamon, non-anise [because I hate it], non-sodium lauryl sulfate mouthwash in any of my local stores so I've been using the coordinating Tom's Silly Strawberry children's mouthwash. I do think it's the *amount* of SLS in the products that's the issue, because when I use a typical high-SLS mouthwash the inside of my mouth peels but I don't have any issues with the Tom's products. Now I need to find a vegan unflavored dental floss [I'm allergic to beeswax, which coats most of the unflavored flosses I've found].
Has anyone found any good products in that section yet? Honestly it all seems to be low quality cosmetics with a heavy emphasis on cute packaging. I dunno about anyone else but I couldnt care less what the box or tube looks like. The more frilly the branding, the more I want to avoid..
The only good product I've found so far is the $4 mini bottle of Pixi Glow Tonic. It's my Go To bday present for my girl friends because it's so affordable. But I've learned that not all Targets carry those mini sized beauty sampler items. Also annoys me that they have any of the mini glow tonics in the regular beauty aisle, alongside the normal Pixi products.
Dr Dray all the comments say how you have helped our skin with your simple non expensive NON PERFUME products , I’m one of them too , your the best love you so much xxxxx ❤️
You brought up a point that I ponder frequently: all of these thick plastic containers for skin products have the potential to end up in landfills. I wonder when skin products will start coming in compostable containers - or even if that is possible. I saw laundry detergent recently in a compostable container, so there is hope (at Whole Foods).
I saw that Amazon has their own skin care line...I'm sure we've all been great students and can scrutinize the ingredients ourselves, but that would be a fun video to watch for all the Amazon fiends out there! :)
I don't know why there's so much negativity around petroleum jelly. I have eczema on my eyelids and it's the only thing that keeps it at bay. Also! Vaseline rebranded its petroleum jelly as "healing jelly", probably because of all the negative press.
I know right!? I've got psoriasis (misdiagnosed as eczema mostly because of my own choices, when a doctor asks you to do a full physical exam and bloodwork, do it), petrolatum over keresal on my nails and a salycic acid body wash has cut down my psoriasis flares. Other than low dose medications, avoiding triggers, and a simplified skin care routine has really helped.
Straight petroleum jelly saved me from a horrible flare of perioral dermatitis. The TINIEST amount applied in a light, downward motion. But nothing else -- cleanse with warm filtered water.
I LOVE when you go to Target and all the stores and review skincare in the aisles. I am a person with sensitive acne prone skin and with tretinoin and a good cleanser & moisturizer I’ve gotten it under control. I cannot just buy anything in any store and use it. So I really appreciate these types of videos. 🙏😘
I also have sensitive acne prone skin, if you find you’re breaking out try to eliminate dairy. Any milk, yogurt, cheese makes me get HORRIBLE cystic acne.
Ever since I started watching Dr. Dray’s videos, my skin has improved dramatically! These videos are so worthwhile! Not only informative, but so entertaining! Love Dr. Dray!
jessica victor it’s sort of slippery but not that much, it’s not like a big feeling of lip balm. It sort of feels like a dry oil on your skin, it really hydrates my lips and doesn’t stay on forever because it gets absorbed.

So refreshing to hear critical and honest reviews of products after sifting through so much BS from the beauty industry and beauty youtube scene. Keep doing your thing!
Your my #1 fav in the world to shop skincare products and even makeup. Your product reviews are unbiased, honest and based on facts. You really help clear away all the misleading myths regarding skincare and even makeup at times. These myths cannot only be costly money wise, but can also lead to serious health problems especially when it comes to guarding your skin from harmful sun rays. Dr. Dray you are diligent about proper sunscreen protection and I love the way you taught us how to use it. This is life saving advice. Skin cancer is no joke. I know I can’t say it enough, but I thank you, my skin is best condition it has been since I was a teen many years ago. Love you and love your channel.
Thank you for your comment on hand sanitization and disease transmission. We all need to remember to protect others as well as ourselves, especially those who are immune compromised. "Stick to a stick during cold and flu season." Thank you for these tips.
Yes in deed that was the most considerate reminder. So they gave me a Christmas gift idea, moisturizing hand creams for those who frequently wash their hands or use sanitizers often throughout the day. Got my eyes on that Neutrogena. Gold Bond has a good one too, at least it feels good on my hands. I see the lady sitting around the office with Bath & Body Works or Victoria's Secrets lotions with all that fragrance. Gee I hope they're not reading this. Give plan change! :-)
I love the info you give in this vid. I’ve been wondering for awhile how effective and worthwhile antioxidants are and it’s been settled. I can save my money now, or invest it in good products.
My wife is Korean. She worked in wholesale high end skin care in the USA. Very sophisticated consumer. Two things I will share: 1) Fragrance means nothing but is mostly for sales. 2) Buy everything from a major manufacture of mid-to-low-tier brands...because that type of manufacturer has the ability to store and move product very quickly...while small brands can having something sitting in a hot warehouse for years...
I so enjoy your humor!!.. "If you're new here, we avoid fragrance." and the reminder about antioxidants in skincare "...sorry to buzz kill that romance." I am still LOLing!!!! Hysterical! You are the best, thank you for all that you do.
I actually work at target in the beauty department and only recommend the things you have, like cerave, spf, etc. I try to stray people away from the hype products, because you’ve transformed my skin just by listening to your advice. That said, I’ve been on accutane for severe acne, and even that didn’t help completely. My skin is the most perfect it’s ever been only because of your help and no-nonsense approach to products.
I went through months of bad dermatitis around my mouth several years ago. I could not understand why. I stopped my chronic flavored lip balms and what do you know? I haven’t had any problems since😂😂. I wish I had been watching you then!!! By the way, I love that jacket🌼
Yay! Keep on talking about the sunscreen!! It's so important. If the 54-yr old me could talk to the 16-yr old me (I'd probably just ignore)...I would've stayed out of the sun. Now it's lovely hyper pigmentation time.
Dr. Dray, can you do a video about big name fragrances and how the chemicals may affect us as well as our skin. Now some fragrances brand are changing the game in creating non toxic and clean fragrances. Actress Michelle Pfieffer is a huge advocate to clean fragrances and founded her perfume brand Henry Rose. She lost two people to cancer and it has made her change the way she wears perfumes. I’ve sampled her fragrance collection and they are amazing. Toxic free and clean. Guilt free without compromising our health. Love to get your thoughts on fragrance industry. ❤️
Lisa Holte, Your Access To The Red Carpet!: “Clean,” “Green,” “Natural,” “Organic” are marketing terms when used with regards to skin care. These advertising concepts do not mean a product is safer or more efficacious than one that is not labeled as such. And labeling fragrance clean vs toxic is also suspicious since your body doesn’t recognize a difference between natural fragrance and synthetic fragrance. Sounds like another way to get you to part with your money. Buyer beware.
Dr Dray does not recommend putting perfume directly onto your skin, especially NOT on the neck area as there are some skin disorders associated with it. Instead, she recommends spraying perfume onto your clothes.
been using the Hello fluoride toothpaste without SLS, and its helped 100% with the dryness and rashes around my mouth. i thought that i was the only one that got irritated by minty/cinnamon toothpastes with SLS!! thank you for pointing that out😭
Love shopping with you. Ive removed sls from my shampoo, toothpaste & bodywash. Changing my toothpaste has gotten rid of all those white bumps in the corners of my mouth. Yay!
OMG. These videos are hilarious. I've been following Dr. Dray for a few months now, but catching up to these in-store "spy" videos. Just saw the Ulta...and now the Target. GREAT in-store reviews!!
Dr Dray! I just was in target and I picked up two of those little hand sanitizers to carry with me everywhere since we are going into flu season. I got a kick when you picked those up. I also picked up a fragrance free moisturizer in the travel section so that if I do happen to wash my hands while out and about I can seal in some moisture to prevent that trans epidermal water loss. 😂❤️
I think I’m going to end up getting one of elf’s booster drops, the hydrating one. It’s full on winter here in Milwaukee and my skin is so dry, even with humidifiers going. The cerave skin renewing night cream at night is really helping, too.
I'm in WI too! The physician's formula hydrating one (blue) is also the same price and I'd rec that one if you'd want it instead. I put moisturizer over it.
@@remainingembers I agree -- Physicians Formula hydrating and also the other one, time restoring-pink bottle, as those were the two Dr. Day has recommended in other videos. I think the ingredients and 'positive feedback' that then equal success of the vitamin shot line is better than ELF.
Thank you! Another good video. I don't understand all this hype of extra products, extra steps. These companies try to make us think we need all this junk. If you have a good moisturizer, why would you need all that extra, not to mention how time consuming it is to apply all of it. A big thank you, too, for the fragrance warnings!!
Happy Tuesday! I like videos at Target! Because there is a Target Canada site and you can order online. Always nice to see all these products even though here we don't have all the brands or all the products of a brand. We had our first snowstorm of the year and we broke a record. In a day, the snow accumulation is usually equivalent to a full month of November! My first move in the winter!
I shop at target for everything skin care. My skin is acne ridden and this video gave me more of a direction toward helping my skin. Before I was testing new products that said it could help me and a lot of the time it did either nothing or irritated me. Thank you for this video. 🙏

Because of you I have changed my skin care routine and my skin has improved so much! Thank you so much for giving honest reviews and awesome videos!!
:)
Thank you for your comment on hand sanitization and disease transmission. We all need to remember to protect others as well as ourselves, especially those who are immune compromised.
"Stick to a stick during cold and flu season."
Thank you for these tips.

I love the videos of you quietly roasting skincare 😂
It’s quite refreshing to have a professional be honest bout what’s really worth buying🙂and what’s a bunch of bullshit.
Thank you for the little chat on preventing the spread of germs, much appreciated!
I so enjoy your humor!!.. "If you're new here, we avoid fragrance." and the reminder about antioxidants in skincare "...sorry to buzz kill that romance." I am still LOLing!!!! Hysterical! You are the best, thank you for all that you do.
Just got home from work, 36 degrees out and I see this video on my feed! 😊😊 life is good!
Please review bare minerals! I loveeeee your videos, my favorite on UA-cam.
“Bouj-ified” lol! Just a note, all targets have reformatted their stores and changed the looks of it majorly.
Liz Moore 👍🏼
Liz Moore they sure did! The one in my town in Connecticut looks like a freakin designer department store
Yeah I LOVE it! Makes me feel even fancier when I go there!
So nice to have a recommended list to take to Target. Thanks so much. Happy Tuesday. Love and hugs.....Sherry
I went through months of bad dermatitis around my mouth several years ago. I could not understand why. I stopped my chronic flavored lip balms and what do you know? I haven’t had any problems since😂😂. I wish I had been watching you then!!! By the way, I love that jacket🌼
@Naomi the Burts bees made my lips so incredibly dry!
What was said above 👆🏼. Dr Dray has talked about synthetic and ”natural” fragrance and the conclusion is your body responds the same.
Dr Dray does not recommend putting perfume directly onto your skin, especially NOT on the neck area as there are some skin disorders associated with it. Instead, she recommends spraying perfume onto your clothes.
been using the Hello fluoride toothpaste without SLS, and its helped 100% with the dryness and rashes around my mouth. i thought that i was the only one that got irritated by minty/cinnamon toothpastes with SLS!! thank you for pointing that out😭
can you please do a video over the skin care at a TJ Maxx or a Marshalls?! i’m always so tempted to buy stuff from them!!!
knowing that a lot of their products are expired may help reduce temptation
Just don't buy. Most of the products are from weird brands anyway and if they aren't they probably aren't that popular and known in that brand
Love shopping with you. Ive removed sls from my shampoo, toothpaste & bodywash. Changing my toothpaste has gotten rid of all those white bumps in the corners of my mouth. Yay!
I love when you take us shopping with you! 🛍❤️

That was a reality check I wasn't ready for, but definitely 100% appreciate
🌼Happy Tuesday Everyone🌼
The music before entering Target...😆preparing for battling desensitizing fragrances! Thanks for the helpful info.
Thanks Latricia have a wonderful Tuesday !
Happy Tuesday To You Too!! I Hope You Have a Fantastic Day!!
Latricia Mendoza 🤣 happy Tuesday
Thank you for taking the time to share such valuable information. I had no idea about the tooth paste and skin or the lip balms. Thank you!

I love that Kids' mineral sunscreen.
🙌🙌🙌🙌 " *I Cant With The Lies* ..." That totally deserves its own video heading, haha!!
Thank you! Another good video. I don't understand all this hype of extra products, extra steps. These companies try to make us think we need all this junk. If you have a good moisturizer, why would you need all that extra, not to mention how time consuming it is to apply all of it. A big thank you, too, for the fragrance warnings!!
Hi Dr. Dray! I sincerely hope you come out with a skin care line someday. 🤗👍
Vee J omg that would be amazing !!
i looove the Elf hydration booster drops. they're great for right before makeup and helping dry patches
Boy howdy, they really did bougie up the personal care aisle. Lol! Loved your intro music. That cracked me up.
Dr. Dray, I love you, Thank you for this video ! It’s incredibly helpful and I will be sure to buy that kids SPF 50 on my next target run! ❤️🙏🏼
I LOVE how often you upload. I appreciate it. You are my favorite youtuber!
Oh, where are you in Canada?
@@awomanofacertainage1993 Québec city!
I just love your skin care shopping videos. I'm sure everyone can benefit from them. Thank you Dr. Dray
I shop at target for everything skin care. My skin is acne ridden and this video gave me more of a direction toward helping my skin. Before I was testing new products that said it could help me and a lot of the time it did either nothing or irritated me. Thank you for this video. 🙏
