it worked as far as the Driver setup is concerned. closed and reopened to 1000 and 1. No error or anything. But i ran a github gamepadla polling test and still getting default 125hz and 8-9ms latency

You’ll get a menu pop up go > press Troubleshooting > Advanced options > Startup Settings and click the Restart button 3. When pc restarts you'll see a list of options. Press F7 on your keyboard to select "Disable driver signature enforcement" 4. Pc will restart and after all these steps it will work!
I works for the 1ms on the controller but now i can‘t start most games because anti-cheat Software won‘t work if you have driver signature enforcement disabled

xbox controllers can’t be overclocked the polling rate is locked. the elite gets about 8ms before and after the overclocking though it is more consistent. PS controllers can be overclocked to below 1ms.
I still feel it has input lag with my Elite 2 I feel less input latency on my Xbox Series X than my PC. ( PC w/ Cable - XSX w/ Bluetooth) I changed my pc 3 months ago with a better motherboard than what I had and it still feels as slow. So I think the DLI Bluetooth Technology on the Xbox Series X is still faster than the regular plugged cable on Pc.
Dumb question but just for full clarity once you have overclocked the xbox elite controller does it need to remain plugged into the PC or can you play wirelessly with the same input time?
So you can't do this and then play on a console and it work then right? The overclock is not actually installed into the controller, it's on the computer right?

What I would do is delete the whole file you installed and redo the process and make sure it has installed onto your PC correctly & see how you go from there
For the 577 error you need to make sure the secure boot option is disabled for your PC The first and only thing that you really need to do is to disable Secure Boot (or make some Registry setting equals to disabling Secure Boot). This is what readme recommends.
Anyone experiencing 570 ERROR or the device is going RED, Do these steps to fix it. Click restart computer when holding down “shift” and “down arrow” You NEED to disable something for this to work, You’ll get a menu pop up go Troubleshooting Advanced Startup and click restart You want to disable number 7 after disabling this it should work. I tried overclocking my Xbox controller with the hidusbf and works but when i check my controller polling rate with X-input Test, it is still at 125hz(7-8ms) not actually 1000hz(0-1ms). Is there a way to change or fix this?

Nope the only controllers that truly go to 1 ms are the ps5 controllers. The A fusion pro is the only xbox controller that can hit 4ms. All others are 7+ms

To make mouse working you can just delete device, corresponding to mouse in Device Manager, then scan for new devices. Or use SETUP.EXE -> [All] or [with Problem] or [with HIDUSBF] Devices -> [Filter On Device] is Unchecked -> [Restart] If you deleted the file without unchecking filter on device this is why the controller has stopped working find it in your settings and delete the controller and re add and should be fine. a xbox controller is locked at 250hz iirc it might say the process was complete but it did nothing, IT only works on playstation controllers (edit) to make it make sense a controller running 250hz would only lag if your monitor is 360hz which 98% of you do not own this video is pretty useless to all players as a xbox and playstation controller come at 250hz only playstation rollers can go to 1000hz which is useless unless your running a 360hz monitor your 4k is 60 hz and a 1440p is usually 144hz your controller is 250hz

no xbox is locked to 250hz iirc which is plenty fast enough for a 144hz monitor they only would be lagging on 360hz monitors which no normal gamer owns waste of time unless you play competitive and tourneys my xbox elite 2 is 1ms latency on pc so idk what you would be gaining by burning your rollers chips my msi monitor is also 1ms so 1ms monitor 1ms roller at 250hz my monitors only 144hz what would you possibly gain unless your running a 360hz monitor

definitely doesn’t download xinput mapper see what ur controllers latency’s are guarantee it’s at 8.7 ms the ui that’s in the controller won’t let you overclock it look at it your self

This will improve NOTHING (for xbox controllers). They're hardware limited to register 125 inputs per second, so no software overclock will turn over this problem. This method only works and worth with PS4/PS5 controllers

Ive overclocked my elite 2 and it was 7.6 Ms consistently. However, after a firmware update, and a new overclock, it gets 4.3ms to 8.3ms.

Correct. Technically you're overclocking the Port on the PC not the controller specifically. Will not work on console.

Nah all xbox controllers are hard capped at 5-5.5ms lmao. Dual shock and some other custom controllers can get to about 2.5ms.

It’s only changing the Input latency of the USB won’t effect console you are already low latency that way.

Enter the bios Make sure you are in advanced mode go into boot / secure boot
Change the option were is says OS type to other from UEFI.
This fixed windows blocking the program for me.
Hope this fixes it for you :)

Can you overclock your xbox elite series 2 controller?
no xbox is locked to 250hz iirc which is plenty fast enough for a 144hz monitor they only would be lagging on 360hz monitors which no normal gamer owns waste of time unless you play competitive and tourneys my xbox elite 2 is 1ms latency on pc so idk what you would be gaining by burning your rollers chips my msi monitor is also 1ms so 1ms monitor 1ms roller at 250hz my monitors only 144hz what would you possibly gain unless your running a 360hz monitor

There should not be a problem, it is only reducing the lately on the usb device.

definitely doesn’t download xinput mapper see what ur controllers latency’s are guarantee it’s at 8.7 ms the ui that’s in the controller won’t let you overclock it look at it your self
unless you mod the controller you 100% cannot change the poll rate on a elite controller

The controller it self from standard to overclocked “FEELS” more direct.
I tested it multiple times overclocked to not overclocked.
And you can tell the difference.

@@SK8TRBUOY i apologize if i was being negative in any way you can download xinput test then you can test the latency i have a elite controller and i unfortunately couldn’t get it past stock maybe it stables out the numbers so it might feel smoother i just never could get it to 1 ms

Just restart the program and go through the steps, If you continue to have problems check out the site where you download for more troubleshooting as I never had any problems 😁

The program is to reduce the latency for the USB on the PC, It will have no effect on your console 😁

Definitely works you slow bro. Only stock Microsoft controllers can’t be OC. Victrix gambit is OC and I get 0.93 ms tested with xinput tester but whatever bud 🤦♂️🤣

xbox controllers can not be overclocked
OC only gives more consistent input, keeping it between 3ms-8ms. Still better than no OC.
Don’t speak on things if you don’t know lol. Yes, they actually can you just aren’t very bright 🤦♂️ I’ve overclocked several Xbox controller my victrix gambit gets 0.91 ms latency with overclock. Without overclock 3.89 ms. Tested with xinput 😂 it’s a fact bro they’re recording latency fool so yes it definitely works

Xbox controllers are shit it can't do 1000hz like PlayStation controllers i have both Xbox and PlayStation controller. Ive tested the polling rate on xinput app PlayStation controller doing 1ms and lower but Xbox controller only doing 5ms

This will improve NOTHING (for xbox controllers). They're hardware limited to register 125 inputs per second, so no software overclock will turn over this problem. This method only works and worth with PS4/PS5 controllers
For using a Xbox controller I can confirm it does help maybe not as fast as ps5 but it definitely decreased the input delay
