This was fantastic to hear in the first week of my potato challenge!!! Higher level thinking in this podcast and I took many notes. I may buy this book. Thankyou!
I wish every person reading this incredible health! 💪🏼 remember, you can’t change your body in a day, it’s small steps day after day! And it starts with right now 🙏🏼
Thankyou! It's been a very big few months for us but things are starting to settle and I'll get back to youtube sometime in the not too distant future...
Thanks mate! Haha I just had to get that out there and then. As soon as I realised what I'd done I just couldn't keep on riding without getting that out of my head first! Sorry again for my tardiness and thanks for your understanding.
Awesome vid! Just what I needed. I was talking to someone else in Spudfit C just today about how I probably made a dear friend mad trying to help her dig her way out of her sickness. So worried about her, she's younger than me and probably going to die soon if she doesn't change what she eats. She now has neuropathy from diabetes (among her many problems). Nobody else knows this stuff, it seems.... certainly not her doctors, but I didn't know how to share the way Howie teaches. Thank you, thank you!--- Wendy Swiger
Hi! I am eating potatoes only. So far so good! except one thing. My vision has been blurry since I started this challenge. In the morning, I feel inflammation in my eyes. I realized that this is related to diabetes and blood sugar. Will it go away soon? Anyone had the same experience?
Hey Andrew! I have a random question for you. I'm intolerant to nightshades and also sweet potatoes. Do you think that it would be possible to treat food addiction with say, beans as the one food instead of potatoes? It's pretty much the only starch I can seem to tolerate. Also, I really enjoyed this video!
Good question. I'd say look into Walter Kempner's rice diet. If you can handle rice then you could try it with veggies and beans I guess. Worth looking at further to see if it could work for you.

I haven't heard of this while eating only potatoes. Maybe this will help spudfit.com/why-potatoes-are-great-for-diabetes/
I ordered this book in audio version so I can listen during dog walks. I want to become a better missionary!
good idea!
I'm having trouble focusing but the small part that I watched about self compassion was excellent!
excellent video. just a question what do you drink ? coffee tea, lemon water xx greetings again from spain. stay safe. xx
I pretty much only drink water. I used to drink a lot of sugary stuff but not any more. I've never liked coffee, tea etc.
