MARK IS DA MAAAAAN!!!
Mark approached his lawn the way that he approached his medical challenge and the way that he approached his career.
Like a LION!
MARK KICKS ARSE!
YOU ROCK MARK!
Best of health!
I’m four years cancer free.
I love having my 9 year old daughter help me with my yard projects, and she enjoys being in the videos.
Glad to see another one up! Thanks for all the great advice and tips!!
Love the tips on working in hot, humid weather! Well worth revisiting annually.
Here to watch this bad boy again. Appreciate all the hard work you do, and hope you and your family have an amazing 4th this year.
Another awesome video and info, great info and podcast
Awesome podcast as always! Thanks for the advice Allyn💪💪💪
I love this show.
thank you!
Very good video !!!
Mark, not the same situation, but in 2017 my then fiancé got diagnosed with b-cell lymphoma and lawn care was my refuge as a caretaker. You gotta keep your sanity somehow and stay positive. Attitude really is everything, it’s cliche but true. All is well now, but I understand the mental part is a challenge we continue to face. Good luck man!
Wow, good to know about the water. I learn something from every video.
Been waiting for another episode and some Great information to go by.....✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
Last year I was afraid and my lawn showed. This year with your education and buying my own EGO mower and having the correct person tel me what was going on with my lawn. I now have green grass, spots are filling in and working on the nutsedge its not a lot.
I know it's a process and in learning as well.
Who knew your turf needed to be clean out.. leaves munched were chocking the dirt and i was killing my lawn. Ugh
Im in Philly btw.. and have a rainbird sprinkler system..i still do some manual work and always checking the lawn.
The Lawn Care Deacon has spoken!

Love the channel! Following your tips, just the tips, has my lawn double dark green in Springboro. Funny you worked in this small city @ Lawns Across America didn’t expect to hear springboro name dropped on your channel.
On Friday nights, you used to fall asleep next to my Boston (Knipper). Good times!
she would always try to rip my face off at the same time
Ah... push it! Push it real good! 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
First Aussie 😁Another great inciteful video Al. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. 😁👍👍
I work in garage a lot in Florida. Usually I keep my garage door closed and open my house door from the garage. If you put a fan in the door for like 15-30 min you would be surprised at how comfortable your garage can get. A dyson fan near the door to house can keep your temps very comfortable and shouldn’t affect your POD cast much.
We need more reviews on sprinklers heads. I purchased 4 kinds.
Oh my goodness. I always jump in my car and blast the AC while working out in extreme heat. Good to learn!
Allyn, I have a new neighbor that changed the direction of his lawn stripes to point in the direction of my house. Should I interpret this as a sign of aggression?
yep. your response must be swift and meaningful.
I dont understand how this podcast doesnt get more views.
Bryan Anderson it’s new give it time👍
I'm gonna have to snag me one of those hats!
Unpredictable weather. Drought conditions to flash flood warnings in a day.
My tape measures are always missing. I stick the levels on metal surfaces all over, so I am good there.
Ohhhh MY GOSH!!!!! Can you PLEASE help!!! I live in the mountains of Southern Cali (San Diego/Cleveland National Forest) and we have lots & lots of critters. Can you PLEASE tell me who keeps popping in my yard every night?!?!?! I believe it is a Toad but we do have squirrels, rats, mice, moles, gophers, all types of birds.....it is one solid poop, every night around the same spot. They are big poops! I just want to make sure that it is not a rat although this would have to be a rat the size of a Chihuahua!!! And can you PLEASE do a blurb on natural pest control? We have wells and are 1/4 mile from our water reservior and yesterday, a Bald Eagle flew over the house!!! 🇺🇲♥️🦅 We also have Great Blue Heron's, Hawks and Barn Owls that roam. We prefer to NOT use poison so we can protect the birds of prey. TY!!
try an inside portable stand-alone air conditioner that has a small dryer type hose that uses a window for exhaust. works well, and sim=nce it is inside HOA should not complain
.
Shrub Question coming from Lebanon, OH (NE Cincinnati): sprayed my house last weekend with “Wet & Forget.” It appears that I may have a bit of “chemical burn” to my shrubs. Is it best to keep watering and let it grow itself out of the burn, cut out the burn and water, add a little miracle gro (or other fert), etc? What’s your best recommended pathway to address this?
Tuna sales are up 2000% nation wide. #TunaShortage
Allyn, my son and daughter n law are n Seattle. She is starting to get into handling her own lawn care. Does your cool season guide work for the Seattle climate? Is there a special section on the rainy climate of Seattle? Thanks
ducted mobile unit. exhausts through a small duct you can put in the window. look at lowe’s.
Allen, ever heard of Murphy, north Carolina? Is it a good place to live? Thanks
PS. I bought a new push mower with electric start, so much better then pulling in my old age.
Do you have Schedule for Bae hair grass for the whole year
I live in the rio grand valley way down south, i notice most lawns including mine now have a lime green tint any reason this happens. FYI i fertilize ever 8-10 weeks and milo in between cycles and have st augustine/Bermuda mix. The st augustine is what looks lime green. Any ideas?
Super Sweet hat bruh!! 🔥🔥🔥Need to get some $uperchats for A/C in that garage.......
Hi Allyn, is there a way to prep a lawn for summer dormancy? I know the focus is a thick dark green lawn but what if there’s an area that is going to be nearly impossible to irrigate. Thanks for the content!
Mow tall and don't fertilize.
CG Jung, "When one knows the why he can begin the how." :)
Alan, I absolutely love your content. I wish that these studio videos didn't appear so cluttered. It's as if your hiding behind a mic and two laptops. You are the content, why are you only occupying 1/3 of the visible area? Move the sponsor stickers to the background, shut the laptops, and grab some wireless mic/earphone combo. If you want to retain that studio feel, then adjust the camera angle.
All the best, Dave
I used some Scotts starter fert and like 4 weeks later I did some milo and it totally burned the new grass out. :(
Hello Allyn, sorry if this has been answered before, I live in suburbs of Chicago, lots of rain this year. I am a little late on putting down grubex , will be doing it tomorrow, can I follow up the next day or two with carbonx, it's been about 4 weeks since Milo went down. I don't want to stress the lawn. Thanks and been a LCN nut for years!
yep, thrower down!
I'm in the same boat in regards to tape measures. The wife makes fun of me all the time.
Take a breath of air, OMG.
Allen...I think I f#@$ up part of my lawn. I sprayed for clover and wild violet with triclopyr. I think I went a little heavy because lawn in them spots are looking bad. I have some green in there but it's not growing out to fast. I hit lawn with carbon x Sunday five days ago hoping it would push good grass to grow. What do I do???? Please help
Moon Unit try throwing down some compost. The grass loves the organic nutrients that’s in there and you will start seeing new growth trying to stretch in there.

Anybody else experience stuttering in Allan's podcast? Don't think my connection was the issue.
it only happens when I really start talking fast
Haha, you weren't stuttering, it's like your video encode was messed up.
Everyone has swass marks lol
