Fear Inoculum is the fifth studio album by American rock band Tool. It was released on August 30, 2019, through Tool Dissectional, Volcano Entertainment, and RCA Records. It is the band's first album in 13 years, due to creative, personal, and legal issues band members encountered since the release of 10,000 Days. It was released to critical acclaim, with reviewers generally agreeing that the band had successfully refined their established sound. The album topped the US Billboard 200 chart, their third in a row to do so, selling over 270,000 album-equivalent units. The album topped five other national album charts in its opening week as well. Two songs off the album received Grammy nominations, the first single "Fear Inoculum", for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song, and "7empest",[1] for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance, with the latter winning the award. The title track also holds the Guinness World Record for longest song ever to chart on the Billboard Hot 100
Coming to Tool backwards. Started with Puscifer, then A Perfect Circle. Better late than never. It's a magic ride and I'm 68.
Tool is perfection...enjoy the ride!!

Welcome to the Fold. Quite entertaining to read, "Coming to Tool backwards." See Maynard live multiple times, overseas, and share your thoughts.
Yeah!!! Props, brother.
You will start to realize ... this music is familiar...
Like you hear it in your dreams....
But, it's your life they are singing about.
Welcome to the Younivese.
Very kool... Go see em live if you havnt already.. Its a' fuckin' mazeing and you'll never top it or forget it....2006 for me
I managed to get tickets for the Montreal show on November 19th, at the last minute. Brought my 12 yo daughter. She will not forget this. Her first major show.
At this point, it's like taking her to a Wal-Mart.

A Tool for a Tool. This makes it easier for the right mood.
Yeahhhhh What man isnt a Tool? REAL MEN listen to TOOL
Noob
I’ve been a Tool fan since I was 13. I’m 30 now and showing no signs of ever stopping listening to this wonderful music!
youth is wasted on the young.-
Also a fan since 13...and now I'm 42
Tool fan before I was sperm! I'm 50 now.
I was a Tool fan since the dawn of time. Now I am before the dawn.
Been a fan since I heard sober back in the day on MTV. The journey continues as we ride that spiral 😂
This is a spiritual fight.
It is and many artists from many genres are with us. We know them when we feel them?
I've seen Tool live 3 times. First leg of Lateralus , Manchester NH 2002 and 10,000 Days: two shows in 2007 before I moved overseas. I never gave Fear Inoculum a full listen until today. So glad I did, and I will be coming back to this incredible piece of work.
Those Lateralus concerts were trippy! I seen them for that tour as well. Did the blue guy's come out on stage walking on all fours? Lol
Manchester! Well met.
Cheers from Litchfield, NH.
This shit makes me cry like a fucking baby. Every song takes me down to my core and makes me feel so vulnerable and alive at the same time. I can’t wait to see you this January.
You are in for a treat- Saw them on Halloween. I litterly am getting goosebumps replying to this message
I want to get a ticket to the Charlotte show in January so bad but I'm trying to buy a house and saving every dollar. I'm a bit heart broken
they are flat out amazing live... it's not a concert it's an experience
I’m in Australia and miss these guys but I have seen them 3 times in the last 15 years and they’re unforgettable
Lol, yeah. I get it too. Cheers
Just saw TOOL last night. First time since this album came out and watching them play songs off this album live was incredible. I came to the realization that this album reflects the style in which TOOL plays live shows, pushing the instrumentals to the front and backed by tier one lyrics and vocals.
well said.
Saw them both nights in Phx this weekend and have come to appreciate how well these songs fit.
Sure with they would have played 7empest
You're the 1st Tooler I've met who is starting to see the music as a story, too... F.Inoc to Tempest is Maynard's idea of 2nd coming, Tempest to F. Inoc is Maynard's story... Rage to overcome the fear that drove it his whole life... 🤘❤️🔥 I'd love to discuss this more if you're interested?
No quantizer is necessary. No dressed up side singers. Straight and raw, how we all like it.
It really doesn’t get any better, they have perfected their craft
TOOL soothes our minds and ears
And souls.
Groovy, progressive, atmospheric, heavy, experimental, deep, spiritual... Fantastic !👌
They are out of this world! genius in every note!

Thank you for the lack of ads 😁
Great call there! Ads can kill a thought process!
You've heard Dark Side of the Moon paired with the Wizard of Oz, now listen to Fear Inoculum in sync with Mad God. Holy hell it fits too well
A Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Tool show might destroy us all in the best way.
Tool hasn't made one bad album in all these years amazing!
Hard to make a bad album when you make no albums
opiate sucks
@@lustiferiusooof
@@lustiferius ehhh your ears suck
@@lustiferiusopiate does not suck. It’s also not really an album.
Danny. Damn. It is as the rest write around your percussion.
I m a dissenter. I think this is possibly Tool's masterpiece. Lateralus was excellent 10,000 days ok but this is on a whole other level. The production on Fear is subliminal. It's an aural experience.
It should have been called Repetition Inoculum.
Imagine it on Vinyl... All that subsound hitting your feels... Fwooff! Lol
Aenima will not be surpassed.
Simp harder!
Tool is powerful it is my coffee 😁👍🏴
Toolはアルバム全部聞いたな、嫌いな作品はひとつもない。
全部好きだ❗
それは胸を張って言える👍
それぐらい好きなバンドだから。
Found tool in March 1997, and have been a lover of their poetic genius ever since!!
This albums so sick it started Covid
I think it let some people not to loose their minds during COVID plandemic!
Tool's best album yet.
About to see them for the 5th time over a 30 year span! First time in my hometown!
You are about to have the time of your life! Enjoy
don't forget to pull your phone out and record the entire set
This album is a masterpiece
Play Pneuma in a graveyard and I guarantee all within will return to life.
Tool is buy far the best band ever! The lyrics and music and talent are second to none!
THAT is strongly subjective, but they are pretty damn good, for sure. ;-) Says a Tool fan!!
Simp.
This is just FANTASTIC!
Added this whole album to my Playlist
Good call!
TOOL keeps evolving. Are you?
Saw them last year in Tulsa. They closed with Invincible and we all went nuts when the war drum sequence played. My friend threw up.
🤮
Thankful for this album and music. Got to see them in Columbus, OH for this tour! I hope we do not have to wait another 13 years for new music though.
Already working on new album only 4 years not bad

this should be PINNED!!!
Thank you for the full upload it's nice to listen to it without a million commercials
yeah, I was born in the late 50s . but had three older brothers. wow and they were heavy rockers thank god for that so even though i was young the 60s were great you name it i heard it but the first time i heard tool.. words can't describe just amazing
Every time I learn something new and significant I revisit Tool, and various other connections like Primus and Puscifer and A Perfect Circle and the Deftones and Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty, and so on. Most recently I learned about the Initiates of the Flame by Manly Palmer Hall, and a few other related things, and I must say, this album is so much better than I had initially thought when it came out.
Now we wait 10 years for the next masterpiece... 😮💨
Get your tickets to see them live now. I believe this is the last tour. And they are better than ever.
Nice! I got to go see Tool for the 2nd time a couple weeks ago in Portland Oregon. It was such a good show. They opened with Fear Inoculum and ended it with Aenima. It was epic... The video is on my page.
another moda center goer!!! nice meeting you!
What if, for a forever instance: "Whats Mine is also Yours" is more than just a statement filled with doubt and fear, thinking all the while..."if you fuck up my ... Im gonna..." What if we didnt even have that doubt cross our mynds because WE Knew that everyone treated others how they wished to be treated and that pertaining to "things" (witch have spirit also)... And there was ....no words...
I bought the 3lp vinyl of this. ❤
Every vinyl collection needs it! Great buy.
Masterpiece
critical-folks be damned, I love this album and I only first heard it yesterday; I’m listening to it again
Try to make a TOOL greatest hits Playlist under 4 hours long...impossible
As you said Impossible. I put a scattered playlist in my truck for my nephew years ago, now all he wants and we want is more Prog-rock and Tool.
Less than 168 hours till Tool live , louder than life
Tool Halloween show! F*CKING PUMPED!!!!
Noice! I'll be catching them November 1st!!
@@TheHigh-endCultivator hope it's not confined and controlled like Halloween 19 Milwaukee, w. Had to wash Dia de los muertos face paint off (sluts had more makeup on there faces) including mirella,, , I had to purchase second ticket for mi puta , she wanted to come last minute,(so I sold mine and found two tickets with only one seat in between them I asked the dude if he would switch me seat so I can sit next to my girl and he's like no ( dick) could only move to the music confined to the 1 square foot of space n front of assigned seat bounce towards an isle and cops & security were back n your seat . ( Stop enjoying).- fkn pigs foisting hate all around. Hey but you're not going to run to that trouble in Minnesota.
@@Helenheaven22 Enjoy !!! I'll be in Milwaukee for the show as well _I will be the one bounce into the music letting my freak flag fly
Danny Carey truly makes this album
Best drummer of all time
Its exact. Thahk you for your beauty.
Great album 👌 👏!
Thanks for putting this out here... Tool is awesome! This album was worth the wait.... very melodic and thought provoking... very good... it rivals Lateralus for deep intimate soul searching...thank you !
Thanks for uploading this
7empest !!! I need to hear it live
agreed.
My complaint of seeing the 2 shows in Phoenix - not hearing that one.
I'm hoping I don't have to wait another 13 years for a new album, I might be dead before then.
damn, what a experience!!! love it

Chad move crediting the guy you got the timestamps from. You've earned my respect.
@@simplyerayn6278they put in the work, so they deserve the nod. I just benefit by posting it so now it's at the top for me and don't need to scroll to find...and felt seedy taking someone else's post. But thanks.
@@ShastaBean You are an unusually good person for being in youtube comments. I like it. Keep being delightful.
Also, you put spaces in between the time stamps...so my sausage fingers can actually hit the right one now. 👌
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
Frank Herbert,
Gracias Pedro por compartir esta maravilla 🤘
Te quiero mucho Pedro que sube los álbumes enteros de Tool ❤
You’re lucky they’re not blockers !!!!
…And our souls 😊
Thank you!! 🤘🏻🎤🎸🥁✌🏼😊
My first acid trip was to this and help me get over a lot of stuff and I was like 17
Good for you dude. This album is extremely therapeutic for me.
SIMPLEMENTE UNA OBRA DE ARTE, DELEITE PARA LOS OIDOS!

Vote for Pedro!

Seen em live 2x and perfect circle 1x at a private showing small auditorium. All I can say is RIDICULOUS.
good man pedro
I’m scared to do the sacred math 2024-1993. That’s a longtime to be a fan. Can’t wait to see them again 😊
Gracias bro
I’m so grateful this is here I had no idea they had this album out
Good to the last 🎵 Note🎤😲
this album is very "weird" but I like it that way.
I owe an apology to the guys for my initial reaction and comments re: this album.
My desire for the 6-8 minute song is still there, but I've come to appreciate the music that IS on the record.
Saw both shows in Phx this weekend, and my only complaint is of course wanting to have heard more. Pst - 7tempest.
Amazing shows, especially the new stuff.
like it
Insane that he said swiss triplets cramp him up because he uses swiss triplets on third eye and pneuma too!!
I get a voivod vibe at times. I remember voivod music from the 80s and it had a tribal sci-fi feel. TOOL had to have been influenced by voivod.
200th Like..! ✌️👽
This feels like, sounds like, and looks like could have been the soundtrack to prometheus
😽😽😽 Ganja Kitty claims the 200th comment... but has no comments even worthy of Tool... wait, I got it: Tool is cool...
Exquisite
Bless this immu
1.25 speed is incredible, sounds more like old tool
Love Tool. They would be considered psychedelic rock in the 60s and 70s. Still, they make great music.
They’re the pink Floyd of our time man.
Seeing them live was a psychedelic experience
Have you heard King Crimson?
Foresight or foreknowledge?
Like Maynard told us there's beauty in the dissonance.
ya this is nice

way better than 10,000 days
This albums ok.
they had better called it a day. tool playing tool, yawn. which is not being tool anymore.
personally I think there is something wrong with these guys. just kidding of course if I had a tool kit at home then I would have too reach in and then find there first Album right.
Q29
Every band hits a creative wall eventually, I can't even pretend this album is good.
You don't get it😮 that's ok. Listen to it again. You will get it eventually😅
Que coñazo de disco soy incapaz de escuchar más de 15 minutos. Ni masterpiece ni pollas xd
As a Tool fan and after several listenings...this album is weak, uninspired and for the most part boring and repetitive. Long songs don't make them great. I hope they get back to being Tool.
