I am honored to be in this space, this dream, to be afforded this opportunity to experience Maynard, Danny, Adam and Justin. Grateful to be at an age that my mind/soul is open and willing to experience their talent and art and their spiritual messages. They are part of my tribe, I am certain. Pneuma says it all. We don't listen to their music. We feel their music. Raising my vibration one Tool song at a time. :)
This has to be tools most underrated song. I mean this song doesn’t get mentioned much and it’s really one of their best songs. This song this whole lateralus cd is fucking sick ! Shits like 20 years old and I’m still finding little parts of the songs I never noticed before. This is my favorite tool jam. These dudes are goin hard In the game. Fuckin tool, man! We are blessed to be here and in the now with these legendary fucking wizards of music. These guys
You know every album is a different experience. My first album was Aenema. To me that was the Tool sound. It was perfect. I then bought Undertow and found it to be a bit more raw but heavier and more powerful in a way, but Aenema was still the best. Then I bought Opiate and even more raw. I then bought Lateralus an at first I thought (what the heck happened to Tool? This album is weak compared to the others... I remember skipping over these 3 songs every time. They always felt like jam sessions to me. Then when 10,000 days came out I lost all hope for Tool. What the heck man. And don't get me started on Fear Incoculm. But for every single tool album is like a learning process, you have to let go of everything you thing you know about their "sound" and just enjoy the experience. Only then these albums become ear candy. Every single note. For me here is my most favorite to least. (Aenema, 10,000 days, Undertow, Fear Inoculum, Opiate). Have a great day
These are the times when we start to realize we are One. The more I listen to Pneuma, the more I am sure these guys are "just" messengers. Music is the start of all creation and allows us to ascend. Tool has managed to create something beyond themselves and the listeners, a glimpse of what lives beyond our pinneal gland. The metamind, the fabric of existence. They all seem so down to earth until they start playing. Then, they ascend for some time and come back down.
I love how TOOL is not only capable of creating these beautiful melodies that feed the mind and pull at the soul, but also completely disregarding any and all deeper meaning in their music (at least in interviews)
from darkness light emerges. from rage our healthiest indignations cause us to stand and fight for our souls and the souls of others. fighting with light is simply allowing the warmth of unity to wash over us without resisting the acceptance and relinquishment of our guilt and judgements. to do this work we have a tool, the tool wielded by the hand, the hand moved by the mind, the mind moved by the heart, the heart moved by unity. in our lovely new world compassion, guilt's heroic older brother, is replaced by unity exemplified by equanimity.
This comment section is everything I hoped it would be. 3 a.m. and coming off a solo trip Journey tonight made me want to reenter myself. And it brought me To tool yet again. Thank you fellow tool fans. This comment section is what I needed this morning
On behalf of myself Erik Sochin and my cohost Jorge Castillo, we saw thanks and agree 110% with the sentiments written in these comments. We cry for the world, we dream of the possibilities, we surrender to the purely sacred, and celebrate the mystery and stewardship that Tool’s music brings to the planet for those who are willing to listen...
I love this piece. Reflection in particular was a deeply spiritual and life changing experience as it came to me at a time in my life I realized how much happier I'd be by not ruminating. Not to understate how good the other parts are. Drumming in particular is magical.
Having listen to tool for well over 15 years now I don't know how this is the first time I have heard this mix....... It a bonus that high on acid right now 😂😂😂
No just a band??? Holy SH** TOOL is one of only a few bands that have found a way to not only deliver the essence of life through their lyrics but simultaneously allow the listener to feel what the very root of existence really is and that my friends would be the vibration of life something that far surpasses beyond anything physical or human this vibration is all things and is nothing at the exact same time Ascension has completed when you know and understand this to be the truth… keep up the jaw dropping music guys you inspire me and others on a level unmatched by any.🤘🏻 ✌🏻🧠🫀🫁👣🦋🦉🦂🧬🪬🧿⏳❤
the most life-changing time I had was a few years ago. went to a party that ended up getting shut down so here I am back at home and the 3 hits I just took started to wiggle their way out. I decided to put my turtle beach headphones on and Lateralus. just the cover art on the tv screen......with each new song a different part of the artwork would vibrate out and be more prominent. each new part would go with the song that was playing. I still can't fully grasp how everything can flow so perfectly together with the art and the music......
I had only heard a few tool songs passively on the radio for most of my life. Then i listened to hundreds of hrs of Alan Watts and started a meditation practice. It was a perfect time to discover this band.
I remember cruising in my wrx at night on the highway listening to this whole album. Left hand on the joint and changing gears at the same time. Some of the best memories I'll never forget

I feel nothing but love, positivity, and ascendance anytime I listen to reflection .. we are all our own person having our own divine experience and connection. Tool always gives me purpose and meaning. The PERFECT form of therapy. May the universe continue to bless everyone in this thread and may nothing but love and bright light bless us all 🖤🌀🖤
Danny always says that using muffling takes away so much of what makes a drum unique, so he leaves them basically wide open and meticulously tunes each one to have the characteristics, so where most drumers can achieve a sound like Danny's using muffling, his drums will be more complex tonaly. Just another reason why hes one of the greats
Triad is Dying and Rebirth. It starts with uneven drums, and gets more uneven, and then the screaming, going out of and back into life again, then the drums get rhythm again and its stable
What excites me about a band,is their each unique chemistry, the way their particular expression in song is a very singular collaboration, not 4 guys but 1 mind, and ofcourse, watching out for their next "surprise" album... watching them grow as musicians!!!!
I was just thinking about why i appreciate and love this band so very much. Intense talent! The musicians, the lyrics, the symmetry! Pure GENIUS!!!❤❤❤❤

Thanks for the comment, thanks for sharing your story, thanks for believing and attempting to spread your belief, thanks for holding on, thank you for becoming the you He designed you to be.

Nah fam. Come hear me sing.. You'll change your mind.
❤
There are six songs I want played at my funeral. Half of them are this.
Mine are "Umm Wot's the Deal" by Pink Floyd and second Brokedown Palace Grateful Dead
Have a great day
TOOL is simply the name. The music is a tool for life and ascension! True all around artists. A total package and always evolving.
Another dimension👽👏💎👑
I can zone out to this and travel through time to make 16 hours seem like 30 minutes. Double shifts.
Where do you work?
@@mmprettypistolfor myself
@@jonappleseed4052 Love this.
i find comfort in their music like no other
I love how TOOL is not only capable of creating these beautiful melodies that feed the mind and pull at the soul, but also completely disregarding any and all deeper meaning in their music (at least in interviews)
The music is the vessel to carry the message/lyrics to the soul.
The greatest 27 minutes of my life!
2024
The silence at the end, to allow time to reflect on the experience. Just perfect.
from darkness light emerges. from rage our healthiest indignations cause us to stand and fight for our souls and the souls of others. fighting with light is simply allowing the warmth of unity to wash over us without resisting the acceptance and relinquishment of our guilt and judgements. to do this work we have a tool, the tool wielded by the hand, the hand moved by the mind, the mind moved by the heart, the heart moved by unity. in our lovely new world compassion, guilt's heroic older brother, is replaced by unity exemplified by equanimity.
You know we were worried at first because we don't know what to expect
amazing!
🥰😊
The frequency of vibrations in this little magical ensemble of songs is OHM. At least that’s what I feel. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ It. Took fans R the BEST!
*tool 😂
So true
This comment section is everything I hoped it would be. 3 a.m. and coming off a solo trip Journey tonight made me want to reenter myself. And it brought me To tool yet again. Thank you fellow tool fans. This comment section is what I needed this morning
Spiral out we’ve rode the same wave
Same here. And same with Tool. Every damn time
We are in this all together
You never left me.
You dirty…?
On behalf of myself Erik Sochin and my cohost Jorge Castillo, we saw thanks and agree 110% with the sentiments written in these comments. We cry for the world, we dream of the possibilities, we surrender to the purely sacred, and celebrate the mystery and stewardship that Tool’s music brings to the planet for those who are willing to listen...
Today is February 11th, 2022
I'm still listening, meditating and absorbed in this mix. I see Buffalos and Horses. Thanks for uploading.
Meditation is pure silence and the only way to speak to God. This music is healing and inspiring. Look up HOPF
Tool isn’t just music, it’s an experience and a journey. It literally makes you feel it.
I love this piece. Reflection in particular was a deeply spiritual and life changing experience as it came to me at a time in my life I realized how much happier I'd be by not ruminating. Not to understate how good the other parts are. Drumming in particular is magical.
We are all holy beings of light, the one who perceives and all that is perceived. Remember that always, my friends.
Satanic

I Am in you and you are in Me, we are One in Cosmic Christ Consciousness, I Love you unconditionally
I love you all. I love Tool as well.
"...without her (light) we are lifeless satellites drifting"...
The moon tells me a secret, my confiden. This light is not my own, bc I get my light from the "SON"
Listening to tool has helped me put my life into perspective. Lateralus is a journey of self discovery. It is humbling and mind opening.
Having listen to tool for well over 15 years now I don't know how this is the first time I have heard this mix....... It a bonus that high on acid right now 😂😂😂
These guys are wizards!!!🙏
This trio of songs makes one of the best music experience ever
the most life-changing time I had was a few years ago. went to a party that ended up getting shut down so here I am back at home and the 3 hits I just took started to wiggle their way out.
XOXOXOX
Drugs man, its called drugs

This is a glorious, brilliant masterpiece.
I had only heard a few tool songs passively on the radio for most of my life. Then i listened to hundreds of hrs of Alan Watts and started a meditation practice. It was a perfect time to discover this band.
Disposition is such subtle genius. The song is a meditation, that emotions are fleeting, just as storms shall pass.
I remember cruising in my wrx at night on the highway listening to this whole album. Left hand on the joint and changing gears at the same time. Some of the best memories I'll never forget
This is my #1 clip I go to while on lsd. Reflection is always my go to song when I'm on that psychedelic path but this clip with the chakra and awesome visuals just solidifies the experience. 🤘🤘
Yes. And yes.
even not on LSD, this is fucking amazing.
Stay safe Kemosabe. Happy tripping to you!
Love tool so much. This song is a real masterpiece
Song(s) - :)
This is pretty much the best thing ever.
This intro is song called disposition. The most important intro of a lifetime!
Had my 1st Spiritual Awakening to Reflection. Thank you Maynard, Danny, Justin, and Adam for bringing peace, positive energy, and tranquility into my world. There's a lot to be learned from these lyrics
So much respect for the band, especially Danny and Maynard for following their paths through life and doing whatever fulfills them. Do as thou will brothers.
Yes indeed 'Tool' are the #1🥇🏆 best live music, sound, visual and professional musicians display of an absolute 'Masters Class' level. It gives me goosebumps and shivering tingles all over my body. Hands down greatest show I have ever seen with Rammstein second for me.
Thanks Tool for being who you are and doing what you have done, doing and fingers crossed 👉 🤞 U wil be doing more 🤞🤞 Rock On!!!🤘P.S. Remember, turn your amplifiers up to 11🤘✌️
A deeply spiritual piece from a profoundly monumental band. Thank you guys
Have noticed a trend of 60 to 67 yrs old enjoying Tool.
And 70yo 😉
63 and their a knockout
I feel nothing but love, positivity, and ascendance anytime I listen to reflection .. we are all our own person having our own divine experience and connection. Tool always gives me purpose and meaning. The PERFECT form of therapy. May the universe continue to bless everyone in this thread and may nothing but love and bright light bless us all 🖤🌀🖤
I never heard a piece of music that was so insanely liberating than this !!!
When I'm feeling off this brings me back to center. No one said meditating w noise could be soothing but it can be w the right noise.
WTF?? I've never heard this live performance before! Maynard's voice, the bass hook, the guitar, Danny, This
is insane!
With Neil Peart’s passing personality I believe Danny Kerry is now the best drummer in the world.
Indeed, the best living keeper of time❤
Some bands age and die. Tool is aging with grace & beauty….
Gods above, I love this SO MUCH!
The massive buildup at 17:35 is the most badass thing I've ever heard.
triads power is a real thing
Just amazing.
I always liked the way Danny tunes his drums. They really sing.

"Hey, you know those scratchy disk case covers..?"
"FUCKING brilliant."
Forgotten childhood memories: Unlocked!
Did you know that the laser reads discs from the backside.
Imagine if half the artist in music were this good.
What excites me about a band,is their each unique chemistry, the way their particular expression in song is a very singular collaboration, not 4 guys but 1 mind, and ofcourse, watching out for their next "surprise" album... watching them grow as musicians!!!!
lol TOOL is dead, Maynard is too far up his own ass
By far, the best representation of all living things. Love. Completely. Everyone. Try.
Amen sir! Right on. Much love
Magiczne połączenie rockowego jam session z medytacją, modlitwą i mantrą... Bardzo daleka, głęboka i niebezpieczna podróż...
Where is the "I'm f****n flying to another dimmension every time I listen to this beautiful and powerful Tool songs" button on UA-cam?

Eat lots of shrooms and listen to all TOOL....some of the best nights of my life :)

I got to see them in 2019 2 nights in a row in Toronto, right before covid became a thing.
I've been suffering Tool withdrawals ever since. Can't believe it's 2023 now...
Whoa. Just listened to this and at 27:30 what Adam does with his guitar tone is completely trippy, i was absorbed! Really appreciate how he can mould sounds like that! ❤😮👍
