your the man im joining your channel because your helping me being able to write again so much. it makes real sense and its got me back on the right road.... thanks sean u have no idea how its really opened my mind back up
Excellent work man. Appreciate how you are essentially teaching by demonstrating your gained knowledge in context. Good stuff & just wanting you to know that it's both appreciated and helpful.
I appreciate how you describe your process. It helps me think of things in a different way. For example, your explanation of the kick drum and wanting more of a “stomp.” The kick drum is the driving force of the beat, and I don’t always think about how it can support or distract from the main idea. 😎
Holy crap, Shawn. I've been using your audition trick ever since I first saw it a while back, and now watching your work flow here has given me even more techniques to experiment with and keep me inspired. Thanks again for the consistently great content.
Thank you, Rocky! Especially for your support! Everything else is a smoke show compared to using the audition trick, IMO! In episode 4 I bring it to a new level will fills.
Shawn, I have Super Drummer 3 and I do not see where I have bandmate like you have in easy drummer 3. Am I missing something? Another great video by the way!!!
@@ShootieSchool Hmm that is a bummer. I am so happy I found your channel tonight!! You made understanding my Superior Drummer 3 easier without it being so darn complicated. I also have easy Bass. Please keep these videos coming. I have catching up to do with all your videos. Your teaching style is spot on!
Thanks for your insights. I'm enjoying this video series so much. I have a question if you don't mind; is there any specific seting you need to tweek to be able to drag midi from songtrack in ezdrummer to ez bass in Reaper? I'm using reaper as well with SD3 and EzBass and for some reason I can't drag and drop. I need to export song as midi and then import. Any suggestion on how to fix that? Thanks!
Thanks! On PC it seems there's no problems. On Mac you might have an OS permissions issue. I would say bring this question to a Reaper community to confirm.
@@joshguitarreiru From one plugin to another, no. From a plugin to a REAPER TRACK IT'S cONTROL+aLT+dRAG. Otherwise you might have to run Reaper as Admin.
@@ShootieSchool hmm weird... well I'll test it again tomorrow but it does not seem to work for me from one plugin to another. Many thanks for your help anyway! Can't wait for the next video in the series! 🤘🤘
Hi Shootie, I noticed your great videos, but unfortunately I only speak a little English. Please excuse me. I bought the bundle from Toontrack yesterday. Now I wanted to try out the Bandmate. I wanted to drag an EZ Key intro from the DAW into EZ Drummer's Bandmate, but that doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for saying. If you're on a Mac you must Export it from your DAW before importing to EZkeys. OS permission prevent the seamless workflow. If you're on a PC some DAWs have a workaround.
@@ShootieSchool Thanx Shootie, I guess I have the same "issues" like Mac Users. When I export it as a midi file, it works, but it does`nt work in EZ Bass at the same way. I`m a little frustrated.

Great video. Is there a part 2 ? Thanks
This is Part 2. Part three comes out tomorrow (Tuesday), part 4 comes out next Tuesday. Thanks!
Great thanks
I wonder if Toontrack ever considered adding a version of the audio tracking feature of EZBass to EZKeys 2.
I'm not sure if they're considering using it in this manner. I would have saved me a step in this workflow if they did have it.
Cool!❤
