I understand that some of Akasha's dialogue needed to be re-looped after Aaliyah had died, so her brother did it, since his voice and hers were apparently quite similar. They tweaked it electronically, and it worked very effectively.
It's so sensual the scene and he was so fragile with her it was so cute he loves the girl and he didn't just throw her or toss her he played her down so gently🩷🩷🩷🩷.
One of my favorite books out of the series. They definitely portrayed him more as the “Brat Prince “ in this movie. I do wish that they held truer to the book then they did with incorporating Maharet twin and other parts as well, but I know you can only do so much with a movie, especially with such a long book. I wish they did some types of flashback to the ancient time that the spirit entered the Queen & King after they were stabbed. It would of been nice if they had a flashback of the twins and their practices before the king and queen punished them. I also wish they killed Akasha how they truly killed her in the book by one sister eating her heart and the other her brain.
The most beautiful part of the book is the legacy of your culture and how it could be viewed as an abomination by another. The book was far too rich for a basic movie. But I think Aaliyah did a great job with being Akasha.

She did something to die in that plane crash. She must have went against some rule. There’s no way you could get into a plane accident like that. Common sense would say not to put so much luggage the plane.. it just didn’t make any sense
